Great Stay in Nashville Close to Downtown

Great place to stay for a fun weekend in Nashville.

Adequate Condo

The vrbo was clean and sparsely furnished. There were some problems with the bathroom including a broken exhaust fan and a toilet that rocked back and forth. The Vibe felt safe with gates and video surveillance. The path to get into the condo was rocky and had several stair cases. Dragging our luggage was challenging. However, overall the accommodations met our needs with just a quick Uber to the Gulch or Honky Tonks. If you’re looking for an inexpensive option and don’t mind some of the drawbacks listed this condo will meet your needs.

Look elsewhere

I received check in instructions while we were already traveling. When I called for help, I was told to refer to the goggle doc. Once I got it, we figured it out. You have to get out of your vehicle to open drive thru gate. Once you get in, There in NO parking. Parking is located behind the building with about 20 spots & like a jigsaw puzzle. Roll over parking is in the street where it is NOT safe. Apartments are located across the street from the projects. Listing advertises 0.8 miles from Broadway. Broadway is about 1.5 miles away. After all the hoops you have to go thru, listing who is staying & bdays, visitors, taking selfies with ID, a photo of card used, the continuous emails that you have to respond to……. it’s not worth it. Worst VRBO I’ve ever rented!

Not worth the price tag

I’m going to leave a list of pros and cons renting from this company. Pros: the decor was cute, the actual distance from the hustle and bustle of downtown Nashville was convenient, gated parking, unit was clean and smelled “hotel clean”. Cons: the location is in the middle of a VERY rough neighborhood. They need gated parking to keep your car from being stolen or chopped. I was approached several times in the dark while having to exit my vehicle to unlock the gate and harassed for money from people riding bikes and walking up from dark corners and the rail road tracks. Yes you have to fully exit your vehicle to unlock the entry gate. The condo does not have fans in the room so if you’re needing or used to a fan, you’ll have to bring your own box fan. The rooms also did not have dressers or a tv so you have to keep your luggage on the floor and watch your movies and shows on your cell. There were bits of flooring missing in the master and kitchen. The bracket mounts in the bathroom constantly fell off if you went to lift your towel or cloths off of them. The walls are extremely thin so you can hear everything your neighbors are doing, saying, or watching. The units are backed up to an active railroad crossing so if you’re planning on sleeping in or having quiet, peaceful morning, you won’t. There’s a constant sound of horn blowing from oncoming trains in the mornings. The view from the master is the railroad tracks filled with mounds and mounds of trash. Regarding the booking process, this was definitely the most difficult VRBO I’ve rented from. Others have sent over an agreement you have to sign and attach a copy of your license. This company requires this plus much more at random times leading up to your check in including sending a selfie with your ID, sending proof of their transaction fee straight from your bank, a shot of the card used for said fee with last 4 digits showing as well as expiration date, and then a written confirmation that you agree to the terms you already signed off on initially. All in all, for the money paid and the extra steps you have to take in order to “prevent forfeiture of your booking” with them, this unit was NOT worth it for us. We didn’t feel safe coming in after dark as the location is pretty shady and there’s no relaxing with the constant train noises as well as the trash (literally) view.
