This was a cute place within walking distance to the beach. We really enjoyed sitting on the "front porch" seats watching some really intense thunderstorms for the couple of nights we were there. Highly recommend!

We stay at this property every time we come to visit. We love the location and how close it is to everything. We enjoy being able to walk to everything including the beach. We always have all the amenities of home while we are there and we will continue to stay here in the future. Thank you!

The condo was beautiful and very clean! It was a good size for our family of 4. We loved the location. It was a quick walk to the beach (about a block). There is also a great coffee shop, deli, candy store, beach store and several restaurants all within 2-3 blocks.

Perfect spot in surf city for a little spring break getaway. Super comfy and well equipped. Walking distance to everything we needed. Would definitely stay again!

Nice property, clean and good location.. enjoyed our stay very much!! Comfortable bed and quiet!! Enjoyed walking to places instead of having to find or pay for parking. Although, parking at Sea Scapes was definitely tight for large SUV or trucks as noted in the instructions..

Great Place

The place was clean and provided everything we needed for our weekend getaway. The location is perfect to allow for walking to restaurants, shops and the beach access. I would definitely stay there again.

Fair. The location is great (so is the bed in the main bedroom), though the condo on the whole wasn't worth what we paid. From the furniture to the kitchenware, everything was clearly done as cheaply as possible. That's ok--this isn't the Ritz. But it would have been nice to have a better table and a keurig cup or two to start us off (esp. since I inquired beforehand about the coffee situation). And more than one knife is an absolute necessity, esp. if you're advertising a kitchen that you can cook a full meal in. So it definitely felt like some false advertising. We won't be back to this property.

Convenient beach access

My husband and I loved our stay here at Romancing the Sun. Lovely decor and very clean property, with a very short walk to the beach! We will definitely be back in the future.

We loved this condo!

Perfect place to stay in Surf City! We are a family of 3, and it was a great fit. My daughter loved the cozy bunk beds and the king bed was very clean and comfortable! Views of the ocean and intracoastal. It was so nice to have beach chairs, towels, and some sand toys to bring to the beach. We enjoyed our stay and loved being able to walk to restaurants, shops, and the beach! Highly recommend!

The condo was absolutely beautiful! It was very clean and close to the beach! The reason why we would not stay here again is one, that the check-in is at 4pm and two, the noise from the condo above us. 4pm is a really late time for check-in. Family members that rented the unit 2 doors down had a check in of 3:00, and they were messaged the their place was ready early and they could check in after 2:00. Our condo said we could check in early for an additional fee . Next, there were no fans in the bedrooms, we really needed something to move the air around and to help drown out the noise from the family that was above us. I sent a message asking for fans in the morning and didn’t receive fans until the next morning (our last full day). I realized that the condo had no way of controlling noise from the above tenants, but they could supply noise machines or fans to try and help drown out noise. One more suggestion would be curtains that block out light in the bedrooms. We enjoyed Topsail Island and the suggestion for places to eat and check out from the owners.

The space was beautiful upon entry and it was close to everything. The furnishings were comfortable and up to date. Special touches like a welcome bag and necessary essentials made us feel at home. There were 3 issues that made us feel somewhat uncomfortable. The sheets had not been changed and had visible black hair and stains. The coffee maker was not clean and we had to run multiple water cycles through it and clean the basin before we could use it. There was black mold in the basin and film repeatedly came out when we ran water through it. Lastly, when we contacted the property manager about the sheets they told us someone would bring us fresh sheets but even those were wet in the center of the bundle. So we used the provided washer and dryer to clean them and when we got them out of the dryer there were black grease stains from the unit on them. Since we knew they were clean, we notified property management again and did sleep on them. This could have ruined someone’s clothes. Overall it was a magnificent weekend in a beautiful part of the island. If we stay again, we will bring our own coffee maker and sheets.

Cute little place close to the ocean!! Beach access was on next street over, less than 5 minute walk! Everything we needed or wanted to do was within walking distance as well. Pretty quiet place indoors! Place was kept up well & gave us everything we needed! Will be back!
