Great property in the country. Nice a quiet besides a few cars passing by. Got to see a couple deer in the yard. Get place to just go and relax in the AC!!

Michael, those deer in the yard show up most mornings just after sunrise, and it sounds like you caught them at the right time. Quiet country and cold AC is exactly what this house is built for, so I'm glad you got both. Next time you're out, take a chair to the porch about an hour before dark. That's when the whole place goes still and you'll usually see more than a couple of them working their way through. Come on back whenever you need to disappear for a few days. We’ve stayed at many vrbos and this one was among the very best for comfort, cleanliness, amenities and country views. We will definitely stay here again.

John, ranking this place among the very best out of many stays means a lot, especially coming from someone with that much to compare it to. Those Hill Country views have a way of making everything else feel slower and quieter, and it sounds like the house delivered on all of it. Come back in bluebonnet season if you get the chance, the drive in through the Hill Country is something else entirely that time of year!

Nicholas, a clean ten from you on the house, the location, and the host together means everything. The Hill Country has a way of pulling people back, and when you are ready to return, the wildflowers in spring make this part of Texas something else entirely. Hope to see you out here again soon!

Loved the property, but the dishware was chipped, the kitchen wasn't really set up for guests that want to cook while there (no spices, no hood vent, minimal cookware), and we ended up having to clean the vacuum to use it. Otherwise communication was really good, and when issues arose that were fixable, maintenance responded relatively quickly.

Jordan, a kitchen you can actually cook in should have been ready for you, and it wasn't. The chipped dishware is being pulled and replaced, cookware is getting rebuilt with proper skillets, a stockpot and sheet pans plus a stocked spice rack, and a vented range hood is scheduled for install. The vacuum is now emptied and wiped as part of every turnover instead of left for the next guest to deal with. Glad communication and maintenance held up their end, that part matters to us. Come back once the kitchen is squared away and cook a real dinner at the house, then eat it outside. Whenever you are ready for the next trip, 10% off is waiting for you as a returning guest. GPS left us aboit 3 miles away. But i texted at almost 1 in the morning. I received a phone call to help in about 20 seconds!!! Great service

Address listed wrong in VRBO app so house was actually 2 miles further than listed, couldn't access 2nd party website for door code due to spotty reception once we found the house on our own, smaller bathroom sliding door does not provide privacy, beds were comfy, awesome towels, hard to play games without a full table, kitchen fully stocked, quite home

Property was beautiful. We were able to see deer every day wandering the area. The cabin and rooms were actually a little larger than I expected based on the photos. Great back porch and enough kitchen space for a weekend away (we didn't cook but did bring pizza back one night).Only real issue was the property address wasn't correct in the app and Google didn't know what to do with it. When trying to locate it for check in, Google Maps sent us 3 miles away into the completely wrong address blocks. For example, (this is not the actual address) if the address was 7824, Google maps sent us to 2647 instead of the 7000's. Once we got into the correct address blocks by identifying the direction the numbers were going, it was very clearly marked and easy to find.We had another issue (totally our fault - not the property's) and for both scenarios - one at 4pm and the other at nearly 11pm - their customer service system was available and helpful.
