ABOUT PLAZA MIDWOOD: CLOSE TO EVERYTHING! Plaza Midwood is a vibrant trendy, laid-back neighborhood known for its low-key nightlife, with plenty and non-chain restaurants, featuring everything form comfort food eateries, barbecue joints, gastropubs and several popular ice-cream shops. Lots of little low- key dive bars/pubs/cocktails. Stores sell everything from consignment and vintage clothing to records and locally made artisan goods and jewelry.

Giddy Goat Coffee Roaster -Best Coffee shop and grab an empanada! Midwood BBQ- Best BBQ Pizza Peel- great for kids

You will also have a private drive (hard to come by near the city!) on site with space for 2 cars which is getting rarer near Uptown! (and on street parking is an option as well.
Just next door is a wonderful wine bar (BOHEMIAN) and a luxe nail salon with many other restaurants/shops/pubs all within walking distance.

Covid introduced us to the world of short-term rentals when we put my art studio (Bungalow 1325) on the airbnb market just to make the ends meet. -What we quickly learned is we LOVED hosting and creating unique experiences for others to share surrounded by art, beauty and sense of calm.
My husband and 3 (large and ill-mannered) rescue dogs and our chickens love Charlotte (we have lived/worked in Plaza Midwood also and have for 15 years.) But recently made a long-time dream come true and purchased 30 acres of defunct nursery land to transform into WILDHAVEN--a Farm & Forest Retreat in the Blue Ridge. (where we just opened our Little Little Airstream Cottage to share.
We have had such amazing guests and welcome ANY and ALL kind, life-loving humans to share our little piece of the world At Bungalow 1325 and WILDHAVEN.

My sweet little Bungalow is in the very heart of Plaza Midwood (one of Charlotte's most vibrant areas of town) and within walking distance to many locally-owned restaurants/shops/pubs. Is been thoughtfully decorated with an artists eye and is the former home of my artists studio. (that I still use when in Charlotte for clients;-) Lots of art/light/a small courtyard, rocking chair front porch (and a nail salon and wine bar just next door;-)
