Fantastic plum island home

We loved our Christmas stay at this warm, inviting house. It is on a quiet street just minutes from the beach. Recently decorated and with many lovely spaces to sit and enjoy the quiet. We cannot wait to come back in the summer!

Really fantastic place to stay!

Beautiful house, well stocked and excellent location. Less than 5 minutes walk to a very less crowded beach. Nice sandy backyard for playing volley ball. Walking distance to restaurants, groceries. All 11 of us had a good time!

Wonderful Thanksgiving

We stayed in this fabulous house for Thanksgiving. It was wonderful. The house was comfortable and had everything we needed to relax and enjoy the holiday. Amazing sunset views from the roof were an additional highlight. Beach walks and trips into the local town topped off a great stay. We hope to be back.

Summer!

Year 2 of visiting this remarkable property! We will likely be booking year 3! So much space for everyone to work and enjoy the multiple decks and sunsets, sunrises, beach walks. Absolute perfection for our family!

A fantastic return visit

Our family spent Christmas here for the second year to spend as much time as possible during the holidays with our mom/Grandmother, who is in a memory care facility in Andover. The home is beautiful, and the location close to the beach for walks and the shops in Newburyport made for a fun and peaceful time for every member of the family.Thank-you, Joy and VRBO for giving our family a true "home away from home"!

Perfect spot for a girls reunion

This was the perfect spot for our girls reunion. Slept 10 comfortably, had the perfect backyard for a private yoga class, plenty of hang out / catch up room in the house, and just an overall warm, cozy, beachy vibe. 10/10 would return and recommend.

Wonderful home / space for everyone

Joy, the owner was easy to communicate with and was flexible and helpful in all aspects of our family stay. The kitchen and living room are great spaces for cooking / enjoying being together and the nearby beach was terrific for walks. The beds were all very, very comfortable with mattress toppers so we gathered festively and rested well. Many thanks, Joy for a wonderful time in your beautiful home!

Wonderful!

We truly enjoyed both the home and the location of this property. The house was cozy, clean and is well situated for a family of 9 and was as described. Host was timely in all communications. Beach was just a short walk from the house with easy access and lovely town of Newburyport just a short drive.

As soon as we pull up to this beautiful property there is everything we need. I love the location! I love the many decks for lounging! I hope to make it year 4 and book for next summer! Perfect spot for family time! Thank you Joy!

A birthday celebration, family get together

Lovely home with plenty of room for everyone to spread out. All furnishings were very nice and comfortable. This was for a Dec. date, so I'm sure other times of the year would b e delightful. We did feel that the check in at 4 p.m. and 10 -11 a.m. check out were too tight.

Beautiful and comfortable home

I stayed in this house for a weekend with 8 of my friends. All 8 of us very comfortably fit in the house. The beds and bedding were incredibly comfortable. Joy was really quick to answer any questions that we had. We had beautiful weather for the end of September, so we were able to take advantage of walking to the nearby beach. The home and the property are beautiful and well maintained. I would not hesitate to stay here!

Wonderful location and home

We loved staying at this home...especially the quiet location within easy walking distance of the beach. The home had a wonderful layout and was well-equipped. I especially enjoyed coffee every morning in the sunroom and the fireplace warmed us all up one cooler evening. The home was beautifully finished and well-equipped. The master suite is especially inviting; however with two adult couples, we wished we would have had a second king bed. Otherwise, we truly enjoyed our stay! Thank you Joy! :)

We are glad you enjoyed your stay! There are two Queen beds in the large guest room and a King in the master (as described in the listing). The Sunroom is a great coffee spot!

Sisters weekend

This home and location couldn’t have been more perfect for our 5 sisters weekend! We wanted a place that would have 5 individual beds (not beds to share) that were comfortable, a well equipped kitchen for us to eat in, and spacious areas (inside and outside) for us to relax and talk. This home exceeded our expectations! The sunroom, rooftop deck for sunset views, and easy walk to the beach were all icing on the cake! Joy answered all of our questions in a timely manner and was a pleasure to work with. Thank you!

Excellent Stay!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful house. A group of 8 women enjoyed a weekend get away and the accommodations were perfect. Very clean and updated home in a great location, just a few minutes walk to the beach! Great gathering spots inside the house and on the outside decks with nice views. The home is true to the pictures and it's description and a great place to stay, especially for a bigger group, with ample parking onsite. Communication with the owner was great. I would definitly stay at this property again!

Awesome home and location on Plum Island

This house has lots of room and wonderful outdoor access (both porches and backyard). It is a quick walk to the gorgeous plum island beaches. It is gorgeous and spacious inside the house. The owner is super quick at responding to questions. What an awesome spot!

Last minute booking that exceeded our expectations! House is beautiful ! Steps from ocean!

We enjoyed our time so much we already discussed booking for next year! Lots of family time on the roofdeck, the deck off the master and the deck off the kitchen! Just perfect! Very easy to communicate with Joy! 5 stars!

Perfect!

We loved this house so much for our reunion of friends. We like to spend the weekend catching up and this house had a layout that was very conducive to that. We had the right number of bedrooms and the kitchen allowed us to happily cook and dine in. We loved walks on the beach and a short drive to town. We just might want this same location for next year!

Beautiful!

Moms weekend away. There was 8 of us; to which there was more than enough room. The kitchen was well equipped which was very important to us. It was a very close walk to the beach which was endless and quiet. We watched the sunsets from the porch and from the sun room. We were thrilled with the house and with our stay.

Great for big families

My family and I had a wonderful time at Joy's place. Very spacious with different sections where groups could hang out. The roof deck view was stunning as well!
