We had a lovely stay here. The house was just perfect for our family, a very short walk to the beach and wonderful views both from the deck and inside as well. The kitchen had everything you could need, and was clean and modern. The upstairs sitting area was very comfortable, with lots of games and puzzles. We loved sitting out on the deck watching the boats and waves. Would definitely visit again!

The property owner and manager responsive with all questions. Our group of ten loved the proximity to the beach! The home is spacious and well equipped. The view from the expansive deck was perfect! Thankyou for sharing your home with my family!

Great property that is right next to the beach! Proximity to a playground was a big plus for the kids. The Cottage Island Market was a quick drive for some last minute items we needed; they also have an attached ice cream shop, which was a hit.In terms of the property itself, it was well stocked and checked all the boxes for our needs. Great deck that let us dine outdoors, and the second kitchen setup upstairs was surprisingly helpful in having a second fridge.

This place is amazing! A group of us stayed here for our 30th Reunion at the Governor’s Academy, and it was perfect. We wish we could sit on that deck for another week! There’s plenty of space, plenty of parking(we had a total of 6 cars), and the neighbors and people in the area are all really nice. We hope this place is still available to rent during our next reunion, because we absolutely loved it!

Great place to relax

Conveniently located, easy walk to beach, fishing charters, kayaking launch site, good air conditioning, clean and as described. Easy communication for booking and check-in.

Beach house stay

Our family had a great week at The Beach House. We loved the water view from the deck, proximity to the beach, playground for the kids and the upstairs suite was convenient for a quiet get away. Kim was very responsive to questions... we hope to be back!

Perfect Location. Lovely House

This house has it all. Great location for beach and town. Lots of beds, well stocked. Room for our 7 adults to eat sleep and hang out. The porch was spacious.

Perfect in every way. The views are amazing and the house is well appointed. The kitchen is stocked and the bathrooms are up to date and clean. We were on PI for a wedding and couldn’t be happier with our stay. We will definitely book again.

Family Vacation

Great time relaxing with family. House allowed daughter and son-in-law with child on one floor while grandparents and single daughter slept in later on the other. Plenty of room to hang out, eat, play games, and enjoy the view.

Plum Island

Great location! This house layout worked very well for our family. Nice having a seprate kitchen upstairs. Lots of beach options, love this island! Like proximity to Newburyport as well! Close to town, trails and a little park. We hope to come back!

Beautiful

This property had stunning views and a great proximity to the beach. We lucked out with gorgeous weather. Owners were so nice to communicate with and their home was a perfect 10. We truly enjoyed our family stay which consisted of 3 generations ranging in age from 18-89. Thank you for this wonderful experience!

Absolutely wonderful

We stayed for a week this summer and had a great time. Close to the beach with calm surroundings. The house is equipped with everything a full house could need. We were 10 family members in total so having an extra fridge upstairs was handy. For us norwegians having aircon inside was nice too. Would definitely recommend this house to anyone who likes a stay by the sea. Had a blast!

The only problem is this review may convince more people from renting this lovely, well-equipped, perfectly situated house and it won't be available the next time we want to reserve it.

Great for groups at the beach!

Very true to listing. 8 stayed comfortably. Location is ideal for sunsets, lighthouse, glorious views of channel. Stocked kitchen, grill and plenty of seating inside and out with wrap around deck. Overlooks narrow private road for low noise. Dual zone thermostats. Dimmable lighting in kitchen and living area is nice. Smart TV. Really pleasant stay!

Beautiful Views with Great Deck

The property is well maintained and clean. It is well stocked with supplies as well as kitchen equipment.The area is beautiful and we loved the deck with the beautiful views. Ate most of our meals outside and it was large enough for the kids to play on it. The only negative of the space was that the floor in the main living area was difficult to keep clean. The beaches are beautiful there but the water is rough at high tide, especially for young children. We did finally find a cove we could walk to for them to swim. The hosts were great at answering any of our questions quickly.

A Perfect Place

Six of us - good friends/retired teachers, gathered for 2 nights at this beautiful house on Plum Island. We could not have been happier with everything about the house, its amenities and the location! The owner was excellent with communication and conscientious with instructions and details. We had everything we needed at the house. The kitchen(so well stocked!), the bedrooms(so spacious and beds so comfortable), the living rooms, but most of all the deck! If the weather is good(and ours was outstanding) there is no need to go anywhere else...except to walk the long, long stretches of shoreline....we may make this our annual go to gathering spot!! Thank you!

The owners of the house were SO nice!We had some pluses and minuses. The location at the beach was wonderful and we enjoyed the outdoor space.The shopping and restaurants were only about four miles away in Newburyport. The inside of the house was a mixed bag. The bedrooms were updated. The downstairs living room and kitchen need some attention. The rugs covering the very old hardwood floors were filthy and taped down with duck tape. The furniture was so dirty that I did not want to touch it. The house was in desperate need of a deep clean. We paid a lot of money for a weekend in a dirty house.

Sorry that the flooring and furniture did not meet your standards. They are frequently steam cleaned. The natural stone tile flooring, no hardwood, in the kitchen and living room have color patterns and variations could look like stains. The tape was placed by the previous party and it has been removed. Anyway, we will pay extra attention to ensure those areas are nice. Thank you for your comments and choosing the beach house.
