Escape to the beach! Enjoy this townhome in the exclusive Monterey Dunes Colony. Half-way between Santa Cruz and Monterey (Pacific Grove, Carmel, Pebble Beach), an excellent home base for many activities on the California coast. Enjoy the quaint town of Moss Landing, just five minutes from the house. Our home is easily accessible from Highway 1. It's also within 10 minutes of major retailers like Target and Costco yet it feels light years away from the hustle and bustle of every day life. Our internet is ideal for work/school/streaming. Amenities include heated pool (April-October), year-round hot tub, beach volleyball, tennis, basketball, pickleball and bocci ball courts. Our home has two oceanside decks plus a courtyard patio with a grill. Enjoy the wood burning fireplace while watching for whales in the winter. Rejuvenate yourself with long lazy beach days in the summer. Our hospitality can't be beat. Make use of the washer/dryer, Roku, stove, dishwasher and fridge. The kitchen is stocked with spices, oils, coffee and the like. Enjoy the many games and puzzles while watching the waves. Our home is a split-level floor plan so be prepared for several steps between each level. We have a Ring video doorbell. Finally, absolutely no pets per HOA rules.

Coastal Bliss

Perfect space with a professional host in an uncrowded area on a beautiful coast. Three couples fit easily, and the sports courts, pool, and hot tub were all ours when we weren’t walking the shore. Really the most relaxing getaway.

Great weekend away with friends!

Gorgeous location. As we were so close to the beach, we went for a walk in the morning before returning for brunch. What a treat! Very well equipped kitchen, which made it a pleasure to cook together. And the combination of very comfortable bed and the sound of crashing ocean waves made for a great night of sleep. And Deb was just awesome with quick response to any question we had. Highly recommend!

Dunes and Ocean experience

We enjoyed our stay at Monterey Dunes. We were three couples, and the unit was ideal for us. Well stocked and enough space to comfortably accommodate the six of us. Great location with great views and access to the dunes and ocean. Recommend a visit to Elkhorn Slough Conservancy.

Clean, Comfortable Retreat on the Beach

A particularly well stocked, cozy place. Comfortable beds and linens. All the amenities anyone might need. The heat worked well, parking was easy, and the beach was a dream.

Great Family Escape

House was well appointed with everything you would need for staying in place vacation. The beach was gorgeous and private. The views were spectacular and access to amenities were not too far. Would love to visit again. Hostess was very helpful. Our three generation family thoroughly enjoyed the area and house.

Sunsets on the beach

Location couldn’t be better. Enjoyed sitting in front of the fireplace and watching the sunset. Bedrooms were all comfortable. Kitchen was well appointed. Everything was clean. Overall a great stay.

Family getaway

Amazing quiet location on the beach!

The property is great for a get-away.... gated, private, right on the beach, you can hear the waves at night, you have your own private bunny hopping through the bushes, and the house has all the amenities you need. Spices, oil, cooking utensils, flatware and dishware, and the beds are comfy. Each room has a bathroom which is an added plus. My nephew loved the puzzles that were available, and I hung out on the lounge chairs on the deck with a glass of vino. Couldn't be happier. Thank you!!!!

Amazing Stay at Blue Diamond !!!!

Our multi-generational family of four adults and two children had an amazing stay at the Blue Diamond. Communication with the host (Deb) was clear, timely and reliable. The house was spotless on arrival. The generous-sized beds were very comfortable. The view was fantastic and it was so pleasant to wake up each morning to the sounds of the sea. The hostess thought of our every need. The wagon to cart the kids and supplies to the pool, hot tub, club-house was much appreciated. Kitchen was well-stocked with spices, oil, sugar, etc.. I can't wait to return. Thank you Deb for sharing your beautiful slice of California Coast with my family. We made some great memories and can't wait to return soon.

Outstanding place to stay!

We came with our kids and grandkids for a weekend stay. The house backs on to the dunes and the beach. It was clean and well stocked. The beach, pool, hot tub and outdoor sporting areas are great! The owner was very responsive to any questions we had. We’re already talking about returning.

Great stay! what a view!

Had a great stay. My friends and I loved the view , and the house had everything you could need. Sitting in the living room with giant windows, or the patio off the kitchen with both overlooking the ocean were our favorite places to hangout. We were lucky enough to see the “Shooty Shearwater bird migration” which happens once a year was breathtaking with the sun setting in background. Bedrooms and bathrooms were plenty big and super comfy beds and linens. Deborah was a top notch host - thank you

Lovely quiet beach property

Lots of room. All six of us slept comfortably. Kids loved ladder golf and playing on beach. Lots of beach toys and chairs. Made it very easy. Also short walk to beach was great. Plenty of coffee in the morning. Listening to the ocean was wonderful. Very close to moss landing for some great food. Very nice spot. Thanks!

Clean, comfortable and magical beach home

The location of this home on the Monterey Dunes is absolutely magical. The house was clean, and very well appointed- especially with all of the things in the kitchen. The games and books that are available were also more than expected. There is plenty of gear, beach toys, tennis rackets, beach towels even soap, shampoo,, etc so you really only need to bring yourselves. Direct path to a beautiful private beach and the amenities with pool, tennis court, hot tub were fantastic. Deborah was quick to communicate. We had a wonderful stay with family and would definitely return.

I needed this respite at the Blue Diamond! It was so relaxing to watch the ocean and the birds. The best view is from the living room but there are good views from the dining room, kitchen, a bedroom, and 2 porches on different levels. Since I wanted to spend all my time at the beach I brought all the food I needed for the stay. I was quite impressed with how well the kitchen was stocked. For example there was a drip coffee maker, a French press, and a Kuerig coffee maker. I slept in the master bedroom and the bed was perfect. I slept like a log every night. I left rejuvenated and I can’t wait to come back! I’d like to add that communications with the host was detailed and prompt. Thank you!

Spartan Weeked

Rented the property for my son and wife's participation in the Spartan competition in Monterey. Was a very quiet area and excellent location to the ocean with a short walk from the condo. Would easily rent again.

Peaceful retreat for family

A wonderful place for family reunion. There was something for everyone. (pool/hot tub, tennis, basketball, beach volley, walk on beach and sand for kids) with ample outdoor seating area, front courtyard, outside kitchen and one bedroom. Kitchen was well furnished. Love how everything was label (wall lights, items in kitchen drawers/ cabinets.). There were abundant spice / condiments selection. We didn’t have to worry whether there were enough plates, mugs/glasses, silverware. The view from the upper floor was awesome. It was a relaxing and comfortable gathering room for all seven of us. Property manager was very helpful and approachable.

Serene Getaway

Needed a quiet getaway and this was the perfect place! Beautiful view and easy access to the beach, just over the dunes. Clean, well-stocked house was very inviting and exactly as pictured. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals as a group, there were beach towels + chairs, puzzles + games, sports equipment, a grill, lounge chairs on the decks. This is the best stocked vacation rental I’ve ever stayed at! Communication with the friendly host was easy and quick. Also loved having access to the heated pool and hot tub, just a few minute walk from the house. I can’t wait to go back!

A slice of heaven

This was a wonderful place for my family to enjoy time together while all having our own separate rooms and bathrooms to retreat to. The landscape and grounds are stunning and the home is appointed with anything you may need. The location is perfectly situated to take trips to Monterey and the coast. We liked being able to come back to our own private oasis away from the crowds. We could see dolphins just offshore! We absolutely loved our stay at Blue Diamond and hope to come back soon.
