Gravenstein Getaway- Sebastopol

The Gravenstein Getaway is a perfect place for spending a long weekend with family and friends. This property has been in our family for over 50 years. Built in 1943, this newly renovated house sits on a private fenced acre surrounded by fruit trees. It’s within walking distance to town, a short drive to the beautiful vineyards of Sonoma County or the stunning beaches of Bodega Bay. This fully furnished two-bedroom, one-bath house comes with a fully equipped kitchen with everything you’ll need to make your stay enjoyable.

You can relax on the spacious deck and outdoor dine on the patio table. There's a BBQ for anytime you have the desire to grill. For those trips to the beach, there's an outdoor shower to rinse off a fun day in the sand. A basketball hoop and balls are also on the property for shooting some hoops.

This is a beautiful, comfortable property. It is very clean and the host is the best we’ve ever worked with. It is well-stocked, convenient to all that Sonoma County has to offer and very pet-friendly. We’ve stayed here numerous times and will go back in the future.

We’ve stayed at this property several times and find it comfortable, cheerful, private, and the deck outside is worth the price of admission. The house is impeccably clean and Lisa is very easy to work with. The surrounding area has so much to offer with the coast, wine country, and Santa Rosa all close by. The best of west county

We had such a peaceful stay at this home. From the acreage, sound of the birds, and great spring weather, to the closeness of Sebastopol and access to freeways, this home was perfect for our stay.

Great property

We have stayed before and have another stay booked. It is perfect for us - quiet, safe, close to family, great yard for dog, great kitchen, and on and on.

Very quiet even though its close everything

We loved the place, which was a great base for exploring the area. Great garden and relaxing feel. Would recommend the place without hesitation.

Welcoming and delightful!

What a truly lovely property! Beautifully cared for, relaxing, extremely comfortable, with every need taken care of in advance. Lisa was a delight to deal with. We would absolutely want to stay here again on a future trip!

Great location

This was a perfect spot for us to stay during a quick visit with family that lives nearby. It’s close to town with the benefit of being tucked into a quiet neighborhood. Lisa was a great host and we appreciated her attention to detail. We hope to stay here again during future visits.

Relaxing retreat

We had a wonderful work/vacation. We could’ve sat on the porch and watched birds the whole time it is so peaceful here. Clean, amazing kitchen, kindest of hosts- we look forward to returning:)

Perfect home base

This is our family’s second stay here. Absolutely love the location - so peaceful, comfortable and quiet, yet close to everything. Beds are great and kitchen has all home amenities. We hope to stay here again.

Amazing Place to Stay in Wine Country

The property was incredible and a great spot for a small group of friends. The house was very clean and had everything you need for the weekend. Lisa is amazing and walks you through the property when you check in. Overall, it was amazing place and we will be back again!

This is our second time to stay at Gravenstein Getaway and love it as much or even more than first time. Lisa is a great hostess. She has decorated and stocked the home with anything you might need to make your stay enjoyable. The home is located in a great area for easy access to downtown, beach, wineries, and great restaurants. Hate our month stay has come to an end but we will be back.

Idyllic Sonoma County Property

The house and property were amazing! Beautiful home, everything we needed for our stay with plenty of room for the 3 of us plus one small dog. We loved the fully fenced yard and it was so quiet and peaceful.

Beautiful, Relaxing retreat

Gorgeous inside and out (acre of great trees, basketball area, views). Lisa goes above and beyond to ensure a great stay and takes exceptional care of the property. Location close to downtown Sebastopol, many regional parks, beaches, redwoods.

A wonderful weekend getaway

A delightful host. A very well maintained home completely updated. A town and region with great restaurants and outdoor activities. Truly a wonderful place to kick back and relax.

Great property

Sebastopol stay

We stayed for five nights, very quiet and private location, easy walking access to the town of Sebastopol. The house was spotless, beautiful deck and kitchen renovation, everything we could ask for! Lisa was very friendly, gave us a few tips for places to visit in the area, a text of phone call away and responded immediately! All in all an exceptional visit, would be happy to visit again!

Not enough stars… just amazing

Always relaxing, beautiful and special place! Lisa and Bob go above and beyond to make you feel at home and- in our case- make a 5 year old birthday the best !
