Complete Colorado Getaway

From backroads to Americas Highway we were able to experience everything from ice fishing, wildlife, and of course snow skiing from one location!!! Entire family from 9-47 we’re made welcome at the Lazy Squirrel.

Great place to stay in Green Mountain Falls

This house was very clean and had a well stocked kitchen with lots of extras. Great back yard, patio and hot tub. Loved the wall with trail and food recommendations.

nice family getaway

We were looking for a "home base" for all of things to see and do in this area. This cabin was great for this. Kitchen was well stocked and beds were comfortable. We had a great time and enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful property

We stay in a lot of VRBO properties and this one ranks up there as one of the best! Fabulous location plus we just LOVED the "Adventure Board" with suggestions on things to do in the area. Close to great restaurants and shopping, but far enough away to enjoy the beauty of nature.

It was spacious and comfortable! They had everything you could need and were responsive when we had issues with the internet. Also the beds were very comfortable which we appreciated!

Cozy cabin for a girls trip

Clean, cozy, and in a perfect location. The master bed is super comfortable, and the hot tub was a major perk. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful Home and Great Location

So enjoyed our week in GMF. House in perfect location and easy access to highway for other adventures. Front porch for coffee was a highlight and the hot tub helped heal the hike up the Manitou Incline.

Charming Comfortable Cabin

We really enjoyed our stay! Nice comfortable beds and bedding. Everything was adorably decorated. We played the games there, enjoyed the hot tub, and loved the back deck space. We even saw deer several times. Plenty of room for our party of 7.

Perfect Mountain Cabin

My family and I absolutely loved our stay at the Lazy Square Lodge! Not only were the hosts kind and helpful, but the cabin was the perfect mountain home for our trip. We were in walking distance of amazing hikes, tasty restaurants, and quaint shops. The hosts also provided detailed information on all of the fun local activities so it was never a dull moment. I cannot recommend this place enough and I am beyond excited for our next trip to this adorable mountain town!

A truly wonderful stay!

Spent a long weekend at the Lazy Squirrel. My husband and I were looking for a place in the mountains where we could relax and unwind. We sure found it! The lodge was exceptionally clean and well-appointed. The recreational available in the backyard was super, and we loved the hot tub! Everything about the lodge was so cozy. It was just the two of us, and the lodge sleeps 8. We are planning to return with friends and family for an extended stay at the first opportunity. Do not pass up this wonderful property and hosts!

Charming Cabin

The host did excellent job in supplying anything we could have needed. Very clean. So pleasantly surprised with extras; movies,games,outdoor games. Kids loved nooks and crannies. Decorated so cute. Loved it

Wonderful week

The house is great! Has everything we needed for our week’s stay. Our kids (ages 8 and 11) LOVED the backyard games and the jacuzzi. The beds are comfortable, and the bathroom towels are perfect- I hate towels that don’t dry you well. The kitchen is well stocked. We loved our stay, and it was the perfect home away from home.

Amazing cabin with lots of wonderful activities nearby

we had a wonderful time! It might have been one of the best if not THE best organized cabin I ever stayed at... it had everything one could think of. The cabin was super clean and just very charming. Plus, location was amazing. Lots of activities nearby. Lastly, a ton of great breakfast places, coffee shops, and restaurants in close proximity. Yes, grocery stores plus a massive Walmart only 10 minutes away. Of course, the scenery was overwhelmingly beautiful... really enjoyed it!

Amazing property and location

We didn’t know much about the area, but are SO glad we chose this property. Located near Colorado Springs and Manitou Springs, but in a more remote setting. We did the usual touristy things (Garden of the Gods, etc.), but also had a wonderful time at the arcade in Manitou Springs with the kiddos. The Flying W Ranch dinner and performance was also a blast. The house is amazing and very well supplied. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

Great fun … loved it … had a blast

We rode the train up pikes peak. We went white water rafting. We went to the cave of the winds and zip lining in a chair The kids did rock climbing and the ropes course We did tram ride at Royal gorge. We say seven falls and Garden of the Gods The house was wonderful and fully stocked with good condiments and perfect placement for all our activities

Real deal!

Authentic mountain cabin. Beautiful and cozy with lots of space. Back yard with hot tub, plenty of outdoor seating. Watch wildlife from big picture window. Large dining room table that seats 8. Stocked well for all of all needs. Everything labeled so no guess work. Office with computer and excursion activity board was great and informative. Plenty of pillows, comfortable pillows. Easy checkin and checkout. Centrally located. Dont pass up the Blue Moose and the Pantry restaurants in town.

Thanksgiving dinner

The cabin was wonderful, the only compliment was there was only two parking spaces and both were very small. We drove two bigger vehicles and had family coming over for a meal. In the end we ended up parking our truck down the road from the cabin and it all worked out.
