Great location! It is clean and big enough for four adults and four teenagers. It is steps away from the beach, and being on the top floor is very nice.

Beach vacation

We love Gulf Dunes resort and we're hoping to return this Thanksgiving week this year. We love everything about the rental unit. The only issue we have is the fact that we don't have access to beach chairs during our stay. Since we are a little older we aren't comfortable sitting on the beach without a chair. If we choose to drive from WI, we can drag ours along which is a hassle. If we fly down, that's not an option.

Great to be back on Okaloosa Island... Gulf Dunes is a great location. The unit was nice but had a few issues. Could use a general all around deep clean. Outside furniture and patio was dirty. We cleaned the tables and chairs wow what a difference a cleaning makes. Dishwasher and clothes dryer were older/worn, clothes washer not far behind. We had to clean several kitchen utensils but the kitchen was pretty well equipped. Received a strange correspondence the day prior to check out that my door code may quit working at 9:00AM instead of 10:00 (checkout time). They recommended having someone stay in the room or call a number to reset the code... absolutely unacceptable. Perhaps that's their way to nudge you out even earlier?

Our thanks to the guest for their stay and feedback. We are glad to know that they found the property enjoyable, and suggestions are appreciated. The property undergoes multiple deep cleanings per year; however, the outdoor elements are more of a challenge and require additional attention. We will certainly follow up with our maintenance staff. Also mentionable, our guests are never asked to depart early. Understandably, extending the door code is to avoid an inadvertent lockout. On the contrary, we invited the guest to check-in three hours before his scheduled check-in time and provided a door code extension for that as well. It was our pleasure to offer. Thanks again for staying.

Surprise wedding

What a great getaway in a wonderful condo Beautiful sunrise and sunsets each day. With. Fireworks on the pier close by for New Year's Eve We loved our stay and can't wait to come visit again Thanks Bob for helping us with the accommodations. It was wonderful.

Excellent

The condo was excellent except for the very high master bedroom bed. I needed a stool to get in and out of the bed. The decor was upscale and one of a kind. Bedding was comfortable and kitchen was equiped well. I liked the 6th floor location. Great views of the Gulf. Patio offered various height chairs. Beautiful unit to spend a beachside vacation.

I like the decor of the condo and it's comfortable. The only thing is the master bedroom bed is very high. If your petite it may be a problem.

The only issue we had was the washer did not fill all the way on the Deep fill wash. Did not affect us so much but possible future renters. Also, I would suggest that they include something on how to use the controllers for the TV. There were two and it was very confusing on what worked with what, but other than those two very small comments, it was a beautiful condo and resort and we had a lovely time and great weather . Marianne at the lobby office was very sweet and helpful. We usually stay in Destin but that has gotten to be so crowded and touristy that we will probably continue to come back to Fort Walton Beach now.

Amazing views from the condo of sunset over the gulf! Condo was very clean! We enjoyed the beach chairs and umbrella as well as the pool! Wonderful restaurants within walking distance The host communication was very good with clear messages well in advance!

Wonderful view and location

My family and I really enjoyed the condo. Easy access to the beach. Breathtaking view. The property was very clean and well maintained. Will stay here again.

Very nice condo. It accommodated our family of 6 comfortably. The outdoor furniture was the best as we love to sit on the balcony a lot. We love that a beach set of chairs and umbrella were available to us courtesy of the condo. Would definitely recommend

Beautiful!

This unit was perfect! It was clean, had a great view of the ocean and had everything we needed. We were able to walk to quite a few restaurants or take a short Uber ride if we wanted to go a little further.

Excellent

Everything about this vacation was easy. Parking was marked, door code was given on time. Room was very clean and beds were so comfortable! Beautiful view from balcony, chair service was flawless and the pool was well maintained. We're a family of 5 and had plenty of room, will be back!
