Enjoy year round sports in the area - snow tubing, downhill skiing, cross country skiing, ice fishing, snowshoeing, ice fishing in the winter and golf, fishing and hiking the remainder of the year - followed by a fire in the outdoor fireplace. Large family groups can gather around the big table at the end of the day to share memories and food. Quiet morning coffee on the 4 season porch allows expansive views of the lake. The cabinets are stocked with puzzles and books for all ages as well as numerous games.

Perfect place for my family of adults

What a beautiful place! Ample parking (we had 3 cars), well-stocked kitchen, clean, and plenty of space. While the weather wasn't the best for sitting outside, it didn't stop us from enjoying the sunrise and my daughter from reading lakeside...wrapped in a blanket ;o) There were also plenty of spices and seasonings available, however, many were expired by well more than a few months.

Peaceful, comfortable lake home

We had a wonderful stay at this spacious, comfortable lake home. It accommodated our group of six plus our dog very well. Kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed to make meals. All of the bedrooms were clean and comfortable. We loved the four season porch and enjoyed our morning coffee there. I highly recommend this home.

Fall retreat

Beautiful property. The home was very clean and comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked with ample place for groceries. The lake was clean and quiet and surrounding trees were beautiful. Easy shopping in Nisswa. Communication and checking in and out was simple.

Annual girlfriend get together.

Very nice place to stay. Well equipped for everything you need. The weather was beautiful so we were able to enjoy visiting on the deck and the dock. Just two minor issues. The garbage tubs were full when we got there and my access instructions said 2:00 pm check in and it is actually 4:00 pm.

Great location!

This place is perfect for our stay . Could use a bigger TV but that isn’t a big deal. Everything else is perfect! Great hosts and communication as well 10 out of 10 stars

Great property, very clean

The cabin was great for our two families. We really enjoyed the paddle boards and the lake. The kitchen is perfect for meals. Beds are very comfortable.

Perfect for a friend group getaway

The house is lovely, comfortable and the outdoor spaces are fantastic. Beautiful choices to be in sun or shade, on the dock or on the deck - just a lovely, lovely place. It was quiet (this was pre-Memorial Day weekend) with loons, eagles, herons and the sound of peepers at night. Kitchen was fully stocked, bathrooms were great and the beds comfortable. It's a newer house so good windows with screens great for air circulation. They also have an outdoor fireplace that was so comfortable and we felt better and safer with a contained fire. There were 4 women, so we each had our own room and there were charging ports, rechargeable lights. Loved that the focus is on the environment with limited plastics, recycling, cloth napkins. Can't say enough about the place and I suspect we will be back and each of us might be back with family members.

Stress reliever environment for old gals

This was a great place to stay for sitting on the dock or patio with our morning coffee, listening to the loons, taking a walk, and working on many jigsaw puzzles. The house was very comfortable and clean. It was just the setting that we needed to escape from our stressful lives. We loved staying there.

Family getaway

Beautiful cabin and perfect size for 8 of us. We enjoyed walks on the woodsy quiet road and shopping at nearby town of Nisswa.

A wonderful wonderful stay!

This was a 4 night getaway for 5 women friends - what a perfect stay all around! The lakeside home is beautiful, with a beautiful lake view and surrounded by woods; the drive through the woods to the home from the main road is heavenly. We were lucky enough with our timing to enjoy the fall colors. It's close to both Nisswa and Pequot Lakes. We had dinner in Nisswa (excellent food at Main Street Ale House) and cooked great meals in the cabin. The kitchen was very well stocked! The seating in the living room is quite comfortable, as were the beds. Our host was super responsive when we had questions. I would definitely book this place again. Kudos to the hosts!

Weekend getaway

We had 8 adults in town for a wedding and this was the perfect place for us. The owners had everything you could need. I would stay there again if I was in the area.

Beautiful spot

My wife and I were in charge of planning a 3rd annual sibling weekend getaway for my side of the family and chose the Nisswa area as we had never been there before. We picked this listing as it fit all our needs and appeared to be a beautiful location, and it did not disappoint. Great spaces to gather and visit and a gorgeous view of Middle Cullen Lake to enjoy with our morning coffee. We would definitely return again!

Family Time

We booked for a 5-day stay and had a fantastic time. Location is ideal for golfing, shopping and wonderful restaurants. Definitely hope to be back!!

Charming and secluded

We loved our stay of 3 couples at this cabin. We enjoyed meals in the kitchen, a wonderful living room space, and the bedrooms were great for our group! Everything was great and worth being off the beaten path a little!

The manager was very fair; VRBO was indifferent

We rented this beautiful cabin -- and it was beautiful -- that had a gorgeous fireplace. It was one of our only criteria for rental and we learned the day we arrived that the fireplace could not be used due to insurance issues. Understandable, but we were upset because we hadn't learned of the issue until we arrived. The information for accessing the property and about the fireplace didn't arrive until we were on our way, and I didn't read it carefully enough or I would have called immediately. Truthfully, if I hadn't been so disappointed and angry, we would have stayed. The property is gorgeous, well equipped and nicely located. The snow had been plowed, making the property easily accessed.

Cozy Weekend Getaway

The cabin was warm and cozy! The beds were comfortable, everything was clean, the kitchen was well-stocked, and there were several spaces to gather and play games. The view of the lake was beautiful, and we appreciated the environmentally-friendly toiletries and toilet paper. Great communication and perfect location! 10/10, highly recommend!

Okay for the most part…

We had hoped to use the grill but it was out of gas. Also, we thought the outdoor fireplace would be available but it was iced over and had a lot of snow covering it, so we couldn’t access it. We enjoyed the view and the accommodations. We had everything we needed to have a quiet and relaxing weekend. Cudos to whoever decorated. Nicely done.
