The Lazy Turtle Too (Next Door to Original) Vacation Rental - Amelia Island

Life is better at the beach! Relax and rejuvenate in our 3 bedroom/2 bath condo. Retreat to the master with king bed, smart TV and a private bath. We are located in a very quiet and secluded setting under the oak trees at the back of the resort complex. Our 1,100 square foot, second floor condo has vaulted ceilings, skylights, luxury vinyl plank floors, and a bright, airy feeling. There is NO ELEVATOR and you must be able to navigate stairs to access our condo. Come enjoy the beach!

The amenities include:

*A designated parking space (& additional visitor space)

*Central air/heat

*KING size bed in master

*Smart TV in master

*Third bedroom can be converted from 2 twins to short king

*High speed cable and wireless internet

*Smart tv in Living Room

*Fully equipped kitchen

*Large capacity washer and dryer (detergent provided)

*Linens, towels and beach towels provided

*beach chairs provided and several beach towels

*Hair dryers in both bathrooms

*Pool, tennis courts, playground, and picnic area with grills on the property

NOTE WORTHY:

*Approximately 10 minute walk from the condo to the Sadler Road public beach access (& only 0.2 miles to Beach Access 24). This Sadler Road access is one of the best on the beach with public restrooms, picnic tables, a foot washing station, a beach-front restaurant (i.e. Sliders), and plenty of parking if you choose to drive rather than walk to the beach.

*Approximately 30-40 minutes to JAX International Airport.

Great stay in Amelia Island

The property is clean and well stocked. The amenities at the complex are great. It's a short walk to the beach and a short drive to downtown Fernandina Beach. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will hopefully come back again!

Thanksgiving

It was the perfect place for our family to be together in a pet free environment. My granddaughter is highly allergic to dogs so it was perfect for us. We will be back.

Great location and cute decor!

We've been coming to Amelia Island for years and loved our stay at this property for a wedding weekend. It was perfect for our party of 6 adults and grown kids. Cute decor, easy access to beach and close to Sliders! We will stay again!

I was mislead on the location and the commutation with the host was absolutely unacceptable

I requested the proximity of the TPC sawgrass and was told 29 min. It was actually 79 minutes. After an apology from the host I requested a refund after the first night stay and never received a response.

Great trip

We come to Amelia every year and always stay at Forest Ridge. This was our first time in this unit and we will definitely be back. Everything was clean and there was plenty of room for my husband, 2 kids and I. We were happy there were beach chairs and beach towels to use. We had a great time.

Fantastic Sister Trip!

This property was perfect for our sister trip (4 of us)! The location is quiet and feels secluded, but it's only a short walk to the beach & close to restaurants, the grocery & other shops. The property was very clean & the kitchen was well equipped for all of our meals. We recommend this rental! Short trip for Bowl Game

stayed two nights for trip to Gator Bowl football game. Condo was as advertised - everything worked and clean. Great location for different eating venues and close to beach. would stay again if in the area.

Girls Trip

Friends since kindergarten and before get together every year and this year Amelia Island was our choice. Our condo at the Lazy Turtle Too was great. Our hosts was very gracious when we contacted them. The walk to the beach was not accessible for a bunch of 76 year old ladies but they were within a short car ride. We found it easy to get around and a good time was had by all.

Wonderful stay!

We love this complex and this rental did not disappoint. Very clean and nicely decorated. We would love it even more if it were pet-friendly. But if we don’t have our dog, we would definitely book again!!

Best Forest Ridge Condo

Looking for peace, tranquility, and a renovated condo? Look no further. We have stayed in a dozen Forest Ridge condos over the years and the is was by far our favorite. It is located in the back of the condo which for us was a benefit even though the trek to the beach was longer. It was so quiet and private compared to other condos in the complex. We highly recommend this condo and will certainly be back next year!

Perfect condo for a girls’ trip

Very nice clean condo. Well equipped with beach chairs and beach towels. Everything we needed. The owner is very responsive and all was as described. It is best to have a car in this location as Uber was not very available mid week. We had a great time and would return.

First family vacation

The home was amazing, short walk to the beach but we preferred the drive for safety reasons. Pool was extremely close to. Only criticism i would suggest is cookware needs to be non stick everything stuck to the pots & skillet no matter what i used to keep from sticking. But would definitely stay again

First VRBO Experience

This was our first VRBO experience! It was fantastic. The condo was exactly as described. A perfect setup for our family. The community was very quiet. Very clean. Perfect distance from the beach and priced just right. The owners were very friendly. Definitely will return.

Wonderful and cozy location

we had a wonderful stay from start to finish. Very clean and modern and beautifully decorated. I think it’s important to know that in this development while it is not a retirement community, it seemed majority of the residents were 65 and over so being mindful of making noise was important. I found myself constantly telling my children to make sure their voices were low and if you have kids, this may not be an appropriate property for you.
