Large outside covered deck with wood burning stove for those cool evenings . 1/2 mile to the beautiful Nueces river for swimming, grilling and kayaking

I have stayed in Campwood so many times and this was the first time I’ve had the opportunity to rent this specific cabin, it unexpectedly exceeded our expectations and met every need of ours to feel at home away from home!! I will 100% be looking forward to staying here more in the future, and sharing with all my friends and family!

Cute cabin getaway

Cabin is absolutely beautiful. Plenty of room, had everything we needed, and some! The fans were a plus, since I need noise to sleep. Very quiet place and private. Will mostly stay again, and definitely recommend.

Great place to stay

Fantastic place to stay. Very clean and met everything we expected. Short drive to the rivers and very quiete place to stay. I would definitely stay again.

Great Place

Amazing Cabin and Location

We really enjoyed staying at this location. The place was clean and ample enough for us. The location is perfect as its very close to the Nueces River.

Very nice place

Its a very nice compact cabin for upto 6 people. Nice private back and front proch, short walk to the local store. Good location short distance from the river. We liked to go to the small country road bridge 3 min drive or 15 min walk where access is free and less crowded. Only "better if" comment would be the internal soundproofing of the bedrooms... The door between living room and bedroom doesn't do much to soundproof from the TV if your teenagers decide to stay up unitl 2 am while you are trying to sleep.. but I thats just an FYI, overall its really very nice

The cabin is very nice, country feel, we didn't use the back porch and fire place but would be a nice spot to sit and look at the stars and roast marshmallows. Its very close to the quince for a dip in the water. The only issue was the lock box was a little frustrating to work with. Also the bedroom doors are barn doors so they don't lock. But we enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend staying here.

Rented for our out of state guests

We had some friends from out of state come visit and we arranged for them to stay here!! It was perfect for us all especially because our home is next door, and they loved the rental layout, the decor and how quaint it is!!!!! I highly recommend this cabin for a quick getaway or quick vacation!!!!!

Beautiful place!

We greatly enjoyed staying here! It was extremely clean amd well kept, and honestly, we wished we could have stayed longer. This little cabin is completely remodeled and everything is perfect! Will be returning in the future, God willing.

This place is beautiful!

The rooms where very clean and the cabin smelt like fresh cedar. It was very roomy and bigger than I expected! Will definitely want to rent again

weekend getaway

New cabin in town with quiet neighbors away from the noisy campgrounds. Everything new and clean, dishes for cooking and a bbq grill for grilling. Cold AC and comfortable beds. Nice big covered back porch, a 3 minute drive to the Quince.

Great Cabin

An efficient little house with a modern interior. Perfect for our family gathering of 4 adults and a 2yo. Functional kitchen we used for cooking all meals. Great river spots nearby to soak in crystal clear water. Thanks for sharing your home with us!

An old friend and I stayed at this cabin during a 4-day Axis hunt near Camp Wood. The cabin was perfect for this trip. Making my final payment and getting check-in information turned out to be difficult. Otherwise, a great stay.

Beautiful Property

The cabin was better than I anticipated, it was well maintained and beautifully furnished. A nice rear porch with a barbecue pit and wood burning stove was great for enjoying conversations and preparing meals. I'll definitely be returning here in the future.

House is very clean and well stocked. Very pretty interior. Very near access points to river.

Clean, well stocked, and pretty interior. Near river access points. Enjoyed the large back porch. Only recommendation would be a curtain on front window. Wife taped trash bags over window!! Took a while to find the switch for the lights over the island. It is in the cabinet under the island. Would stay here again.
