Spend your days exploring the nearby Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park, just a 10-minute drive away, or venture into the vast Ottawa National Forest, a 16-minute drive from your doorstep. Back at the property, you'll find all the comforts of home, including free WiFi, a washing machine and dryer, a cozy fireplace, and a smart TV for relaxing evenings. The fully stocked kitchen is perfect for whipping up delicious meals, with a stove, oven, refrigerator, and dishwasher at your disposal. Enjoy your culinary creations at the dining table, or step outside to the outdoor play area and soak in the stunning lake views. With 2 bathrooms, towels, a hair dryer, and air conditioning, this vacation home has everything you need for a truly memorable stay. The property was warm and comfortable. Communication with the owners was easy. The location on Lake Superior was perfect…private and kayaks available. I would recommend it, and stay there again

This was an amazing place to stay at and I would recommend it anyone who wants to get away for a little while. Nice views and a beautiful house. The Mansons were great host and they actually helped me with proposing to my girlfriend! I will for sure be coming back to this place. Thank you so much for everything Mr and Mrs Mansons!

This is such a lovely home on a beautiful property. We loved our stay here and hope to come back soon. The house has everything you would need and has such a welcoming vibe to it. The outside spaces are comfortable and provide ultimate relaxation. And of course the lake!! The lake is beautiful no matter what so you can’t go wrong choosing this property with a wonderful view and a cozy fire pit for a lakeside fire. There were also kayaks available for use and next time we plan to use them. So happy we found this gem close to the Porcupine Mountains and Ontonagon.

The property was beautiful and well maintained. It was in the perfect location as it was somewhat secluded but still relatively close to town. The private beach was wonderful and the lighted path leading to it was lovely! Communication with our hosts was almost seamless. They answered every question we had so quickly (even one I had about the home's decorating decor). My husband and I went to the area to do a lot of hiking but, I believe that my favorite experiences were those afternoons and evenings we spent on the private beach having dinner, wading in the water, and looking for rocks. I would highly recommend this property and it's owners.

Absolutely stunning property! The house is gorgeous - decor is perfect - super clean - comfortable - amazing beach - everything you need and more! From the moment we parked in the driveway - we had a fantastic stay - it felt just like HOME! Easy check-in, great owners, super location... I can't think of one bad thing to say - book it today - you will NOT be disappointed. Trust me! :)

Awesome house that had comfortable beds. Perfect location to play in the woods and beautiful waterfront of lake superior. It was quiet and so relaxing sitting by the lake. Perfect in between location to go to the Porcupine mountains and travel up to copper harbor. We had an amazing week there.

What a perfect setting--very quiet and private. We loved Christel and Chad's place. I really liked the decor. It had all the amenities we needed (washer/dryer, grill, very comfortable king bed, hooks to hang jackets). Our favorite space was the private beach with the fire pit.

The house was well cleaned and prepped for the stay. Everything was decorated beautifully and the hosts communicated ahead of time of any outages due to weather. Very professional and considerate with willingness to accommodate. The beach and large outside fire pit was perfect to relax and enjoy the sounds of the waves against the shore. Definetly would recommend for anyone looking for a cozy environment with a walk out beach that feel secluded. Also only a 20 minute drive from lake of the clouds beautiful scenic views.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The pictures show the property pretty well. The lighted path to the water is cool and the beach set up is very relaxing and nice. We stayed in late October at the tail end of the color season but I imagine this property is great to stay at during all seasons.

We are often referred to as the Manson 3, or the three best friends. Chad and Christel have been married for 24 years, and have an amazing son, Connor, who started college in 2025. We have two amazing Schnauzer puppies, and love all the things about the UP.

We have been coming to this area for 20 years, and had been looking for the exact right spot for a year or so. When Christel walked into the home she knew this was her happy place. Everything about it screamed us, and we couldn't be happier about the decision!

This home is remote, yet right off a main road. It has a beautiful beach on Superior. It provides solitude and many activities. It really is a piece of heaven.
