Awesome beach area

We really enjoyed our stay and plan on staying here again next time we are in the area. There was a very large sandy beach area that we did a campfire every night. The house was clean. The bathrooms were recently renovated and look great.

Beautiful home

My family had a wonderful stay in the UP. The house was clean and wonderfully updated. We loved the surrounding area and had many wonderful adventures. The private beach was great. I would stay in the house again and recommend it to other people.

Absolutely perfect.

We have been going up to Ontonagon for the last 10 years. This wonderful home is the best we have stayed in. Very warm and inviting and had everything we needed. The weather was not the best so we never got to use the kayaks but we had an amazing time. Thank you

The Beach

We stayed 3 nights and it was perfect. The home is clean and welcoming. All of the amenities worked perfectly. We didn't use the grills as we ate out as much as possible. No cooking on our girls trips! 😅. The beach was beautiful morning and night! We are going back again next year!WeWareglingback again next year!

Perfection!

From the moment we pulled into the driveway we loved the house. The property is beautiful. So many special touches to the home. We really enjoyed the fireplaces, flameless candles, comfy bed and huge shower. The deck is very inviting however we spent most of our time at the private beach. It was hard to leave during the day to go to the Porkies, waterfalls and other local things we came to see. Make sure to plan a couple days of your trip to just enjoy the property. We both miss the beach and can't wait to come back.

Wonderful Porkies Retreat

We absolutely loved our stay at this little oasis outside of the park. The location was wonderful, the accommodations were fantastic, the campfires were relaxing and the views of Lake Superior were fantastic. I would recommend this place to anyone with a family that wants to relax, unwind and enjoy the lake without being in the park or by the crowds.

Extremely beautiful home and property. A little slice of heaven on Lake Superior

Truly Superior accommodations!

The Manson home is beautiful with everything you need for a perfect weekend getaway or extended stay. With the majestic Lake Superior shoreline only a stone's throw from the house and the Porcupine Mountains a short drive away, breathtaking views abound. We'd stay at their home again in a heartbeat. Everything about the experience was great!

Perfect Stay near Porcupine Mountains

The house was amazing- clean, well-equipped, and very close to Porcupine Mountains! Perfect place to stay if you want to explore the Porkies and surrounding area. It was about a 20min drive to the Lake of the Clouds Overlook. The house had everything we could need for a comfortable stay- fully stocked kitchen, washer/dryer, extremely comfortable beds! Highly recommend! And would definitely stay again!

We are often referred to as the Manson 3, or the three best friends. Chad and Christel have been married for almost 20 years, and have an amazing son, Connor, who will be a high schooler this year. We have two amazing Schnauzer puppies, and love all the things about the UP.

We have been coming to this area for 10 years, and had been looking for the exact right spot for a year or so. When Christel walked into the home she knew this was her happy place. Everything about it screamed us, and we couldn't be happier about the decision!

This home is remote, yet right off a main road. It has a beautiful beach on Superior. It provides solitude and many activities. It really is a piece of heaven.
