Very clean and great location for our long weekend getaway. The cabin had everything we needed and more. Heidi was very responsive and checked in to make sure everything was good with our stay. Will definitely stay here again if possible.

We loved the huge private yard with a lovely porch and fire pit. Right across road from the big lake . It was very restful , and close access to all that we wanted to see and do.

Great spot….quaint and charming! Heidi was an incredible host and even surprised us with homemade, delicious blueberry crepes. Everything was as advertised. Soooo clean and had everything we needed for dining in after a long day of hiking. Don’t hesitate to stay here!

Overal everything worked as listed. The air conditioner was sub par. If we had four of us the upstairs bedroom would not have been an option. Otherwise it was good for the two of us. Nice cabin and very private.

Thank you for staying with us! We have been getting hot weather here in the UP. I have been upgrading in the cabin and unfortunately life took a turn twice over and back to back for me and my every day work on my cabin was put on hold. I do have another window unit that can easily put in for the upstairs…that is why I keep close contact with my guests staying here. I live here in Ontonagon and my passion for the comfort of my guests is always priority to me. Take care and hope you think of us your next travels in the area🙏HEIDI

Very enjoy 5 days hiking in the Porkies and having the perfect place to stay. The homemade Swedish Blueberry Cream Cheese Crepes were amazing. Such a surprise. Will come back again.

What a great place, we just loved it! The cabin was clean, quiet, organized and welcoming. Enjoyed a day snowboarding and the next snowshoeing. Thank you Heidi :)

Communication with Heidi was so easy! Check in was seamless and the location of the cabin was perfect for exploring Porcupine Mountains, local waterfalls, the beautiful and pristine beaches of Lake Superior, as well as everything the Keweenaw Peninsula has to offer. The cabin is very private and is a short distance to a public beach. Heidi and Gary have thought of so many details to make our stay comfortable-from providing homemade crepes, fresh eggs, and freshly cut flowers to comfortable beds, robes, beach and cabin towels, cookware, coffee and tea bar, games, and so much more! Sipping coffee outside while being surrounded by hummingbirds is certainly a treat!

What a wonderful cabin, with an exceptional attention to details for a relaxing getaway. The location was perfect for hiking, rock hunting and site seeing! The hosts were very accommodating and check-in was a breeze! Would definitely consider another stay at this location!

Wonderful cabin on a very private lot. This cabin is exactly as advertised. The host, Heidi, was very friendly, check in was easy, and she made us a delicious rhubarb cake. Highly recommend staying here.

Amazing Michigan Vacation

This cozy little cabin was the perfect place for our family of 4 to stay. The location was right in between everything we wanted to visit. It had everything we needed and could want in a house. The hosts were amazing.

Cabin stay

Super cute cabin and property on the river. Location close to the Porcupine Mountains and water falls. Cabin was clean and well stocked with amenities!
