3 Bedroom with path to beach in town!

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil 3 bed 1 bath house with a path to the beach from the yard and only FOUR blocks away from the UTV trail in Ontonagon and 20 minutes from the Porcupine Mountains. The large deck in the back that faces the lake can be used to entertain, or just sit and enjoy the yard and quiet neighborhood. There is also a fully furnished kitchen as well as a washer/dryer available in the basement. Driveway parking available for 2 vehicles and a separate driveway into the yard is available for overflow or trailers. It is by no means a new house, but well kept and cozy, so expect your typical grandma’s beach/ski house/cabin decor.

Price was reasonable right next to Lake Superior. Nice short trail to get to the beach. Old home but had comfortable beds. We spent most of the time on the beach and shopped a little so we didn't spend a lot of time in the house. It fit our needs just fine. We cooked our food and walked to the beach and ate around the fire on the beach and watched the sunset. Only complaint was the back yard was a eye sore but like I said its the prefect place to stay at is you are look for beach access which is basic right by the house. The house inside was super clean and had everything we needed to have a wonderful experience in the UP. We even found Yooperlites on the beach and a few at Agate Beach!! A wonderful stay!!

We stay here most times we visit. Love the home . This year we were up during a snow event and the house was cozy, warm and perfect !

Perfect quick beach getaway with the kids. The beach was beautiful and even though it rained the sun was out at the perfect times to still enjoy beautiful Lake Superior!

The house is old, but charming. The kitchen cupboard handles made the stay the best! Beach is approximately 1/2 block away and is beautiful! Weather wasnt conducive for us to enjoy much outside.

My family and I were here 4 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location is perfect; right next to the beach and a short walk to Main Street Ontonagon. The house is older but well kept and has everything needed. Communication with the host was great and Michael checked in with us during our stay. The listing is not exaggerating about the beach path right to the yard, and the beach is amazing.

Wonderful stay. Everything was perfect. The owner is kind and very responsive. We had the best time! Comfortable beds. Super cute home. We love the area. We come back once a year. Great location. Right on the water and very safe area. Tons of things to do- beautiful things!

The location was perfect. We had the best time. The house was just as advertised and had everything we needed. Mike was a great host and answered any questions we had quickly. I would go back for sure.

The main reason for the lower rating was the very small cramped bathroom and bedroom on main floor. Due to recent knee replacement, we couldn’t stay on second floor. Everything was very clean, and the host provided everything that one would need. However, the bathroom was very tight, and sorely needs updating, compared to other rentals in neighborhood. The main floor bedroom had a queen bed, but it was very difficult for two people to be in bedroom at same time. The dresser drawers were missing handles, so opening was not smooth. Kitchen was very roomy as was the dining room (which we didn’t use at all.) The host was great and very communicative, which was very helpful. Next time I’ll pay more attention to the total home square footage. It was less than 1000 sf and upstairs were two more generous bedrooms so our living space was limited. There weren’t too many useable outlets either, but we did plan ahead and brought extra with us. It was a very sweet lovely house, just difficult to maneuver in some important areas.
