Located on the Intracoastal Waterway in Oak Hill, Florida, a five-minute idle from the world-famous flats of Mosquito Lagoon, our three unit fish camp with private docks and on-site launch ramp is the ideal base of operations for skiff anglers, kayakers, stand-up paddle boarders, birdwatchers and other wildlife enthusiasts.

Bring your own boat, fish with one of the lagoon's accomplished guides, or use one of our complimentary Native Watercraft kayaks to explore the area. With our unique lagoon redfish population, the fish are here all year, and we'll make sure you find them.

Just an hour from Orlando, two hours from Jacksonville, and two-and-a-half from Tampa/St. Pete, Mosquito Lagoon Fish Camp is a perfect weekend getaway for Florida anglers. It’s also a favorite adventure destination for visitors from all over the country and beyond.

We had a great time and really enjoyed our stay. The cabin was perfect, very clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Being able to put our boat in right next to the cabin was so convenient, as well as being able to leave it in the water right behind the cabin was great. They really had thought of everything. We enjoyed sitting outside and meeting some of the others staying close by. We plan on making reservations in the future.

This is our 3rd stay here - amazingly clean and nice decorated for what would normally be a fish camp - but this can be so much more - we stayed in Redfish cabin - two bedrooms - full kitchen, dining table and family room - the water/docks are no more than 10 feet from your back door - the morning sunsets over the water cant be beat. Communication was always quick. We are already talking about going back next year.

This cabin was a lot more than we expected to get. I know it is on the river. But we were blown away by the view. Especially in the morning. The cabin itself feels secluded even though it’s right close to an RV park. Bring on the water you enter the cabin from the road and you are right there on the water when the boat dock and a little pier. Comfy beds, quiet place and cool AC make for a relaxing night sleep. Only wish I had booked for a longer stay to enjoy the rest of the offer like the kayaks and more. If you bring your boat you can drop it in the water right there because the ramp is next to the cabin. We hope to get back one day.

Everything was great. Rented a boat for the week and it was delivered to the dock and had a great time all week. The main reason for trip was to watch Artemis 2 launch from the boat as close as they would let us get and it was awesome. Even caught the Falcon 9 launch at 7:54am next day and Atlas 4 at 1:30am.

The cabin was very clean and comfortable. All appliances worked well. I am a nature photographer and the little balcony over looking the Mosquito Lagoon was amazing.Beautiful sunrises, eagles, ospreys, pelicans and dolphins right out the back door. We enjoyed our stay very much and look forward to returning.

Another fantastic stay at the redfish cabin on the river. Host Christine & Doug were the best and easy to deal with. Dock was perfect and boat ready. Location is easy to access with more parking spaces than ever needed. Local fish house is within walking distance and serves the best fish chowder and fried shrimp anywhere. We will be back soon…..thank you to the hosts.

This cabin was exactly what we needed… clean, cozy and just what we needed for a quick getaway. We were able to launch our boat here, and it was just steps out our back door. Neighbors and staff were super friendly. Very quiet and nice place to relax.

Having trouble with my e-mail so I couldn’t really communicate with the host. But really didn’t need to. Everything was fantastic. All the important information was provided perfectly. The cabin was fantastic. Only issue was the extremely low tides. Had to be careful with our 17ft center console navigating the 1.5 ft shallows. Those with skiffs or gheenoes had no issues at all. This was our second stay here. Absolutely would recommend the Redfish cabin. Great place, very comfortable and clean.

Family Vacation

This was the perfect back drop to a relaxing fun filled adventure for my New Yawk family. Had to show them real Florida. And this place didn't disappoint. Clean, perfectly stocked, easy check in, friendly neighbors, wonderful water access. We loved it! Would definitely book again.
