3 bedroom waterfront on Mosquito Lagoon and the Intercoastal Waterway. Fully furnished home with private dock and parking. King bedroom with sliding doors to private deck. Queen bedroom and double bedroom. Boasts 2 full bathrooms. Country kitchen, large living room with sliding doors and panoramic view of the water and docks. Covered deck with grill and patio furniture. Bring your boat to fish on the world famous Mosquito Lagoon to catch Redfish, Drum, Flounder and more. Located on the intercoastal waterway 15 minute boat ride to the ocean. There are canoe's and kayaks available for guests to use.

We loved our stay at this property in Oakhill. The home was clean and perfect for our family. We really enjoyed being able to fish right off of the dock in the park. There are a ton of dolphin and manatees in that area that you can see. Highly recommend this property.

I should've read ALL reviews prior to booking. The home itself was fine and we made the best of it but unfortunately we weren’t able to use the dock as we had planned. There were numerous small biting insects around the dock that were getting on our legs and clothing and biting us repeatedly. We could visibly see them and when we swatted some of them we noticed small blood spots. By the evening, the biting became uncomfortable enough that we had to stop using the dock. We let the hosts know at checkout and they explained that bugs/no-see-ums are common around the Intracoastal. We completely understand that some insects are expected near the water, but this was significant enough that it affected our ability to enjoy one of the main amenities we booked the property for. Instead of being immediately dismissive, I would've liked to have heard they would at least consider inspecting our claim.

We really enjoyed our stay at this house. We had our boat with us and it was really easy to launch and park the boat on the grey docks. The house is perfect for four people. Very clean and lots of space. We enjoyed sitting on the porch and watching the dolphins in the lagoon. We walked to the little park down the road and the restaurant Goodrich Seafood and Oyster House. People in the area are very friendly and the owners are very nice and helpful and quick to respond to any questions you might have. Keeping this cabin on our list to stay again.

Home away from home

It would be difficult to list all the things I loved about this place. I have stayed here twice and will definitely stay again. Clean, safe, owners are very accommodating. Convenient to a lot of place to see. One of my favorite vacation spots! Fay

What this is a brand new home. Someone must have left a door open. I wish you would have called me direct this home is brand new, I could have had someone in there on the 23rd.

Beautiful view and sunrises!

It right on the the water with a beautiful view, and a great porch. Great docks and you could have a boat right out front. But the neighbors are very close.

Return visit

Great place for fishing, shrimping, shopping at flea market. And close to Daytona, Cape Canerval. New Smyrna beach. Definitely will be back.

Clean, comfortable, friendly space

We had an awesome time fishing for a few days. The hosts live nearby and were super friendly and helpful. There were new towels and pillows, tons of new cookware, and many recent upgrades/remodel work that looks like it happened recently. The beds were super comfortable and the neighbors were all very quiet and friendly.
