3/2 lakeside cabin with North Georgia mountain views conveniently located between Ellijay and Blue Ridge. Equipped with 2 screened in porches, hot tub, fire pit, boats, dock and many other amenities for guests to enjoy. Cozy, family friendly cabin with all rooms on one level -- Great for families!

Once you arrive at the cabin, everything you need to enjoy your stay is within a few steps from the cabin. Take a leisurely walk on the Griffin-Thrasher Trail hiking trail, a 3.5-mile "easy" trail that winds along Jones Creek and offers great views of the Georgia Mountains, Lake Buckhorn, local landscape, and wildlife. You can also select from a kayak and several canoes that are complementary to our guests while staying at the wonderful lakefront cabin! Venture out on Lake Buckhorn or just stay dockside and try your hand at some fishing. On easy to navigate, high quality roads, located just 7.5 miles from Ellijay and about 12 miles from Blue Ridge is close to apple orchards, wineries, horseback riding, hiking, fishing, swimming, Carter’s Lake, mountain biking, kayaking, whitewater rafting, river tubing, zip lining, quaint restaurants and shopping, even golf. Any activity you’d like to try is nearby!

Awesome location, amenities, and overall process. My family took full advantage of what this beautiful cabin had to offer and we made some wonderful memories. This is our second stay here and we will definitely be back!

Wonderful property and cabin. Situated perfectly between Ellijay and Blue Ridge for ease of access to shop, dine and other activities. My children enjoyed the lake to fish and canoe, and the trails along the lake. We appreciated the well stocked kitchen for essentials! One large negative for wife and I was the master bedroom bed. It is obviously worn out or broken and was very very uncomfortable to sleep on. The other guest beds were perfect…..so why the master bed is so bad I don’t understand. I would urge the property manager and owner to replace the master bed asap as your guests are paying a premium for the stay. Otherwise, our family highly recommends this location and we hope to visit again in the future.

Relaxing retreat

Great time in the cabin well furnished, fire pit, lake, canoes, kayak, fishing. Please of unique small towns restaurants shops outdoor activities and places to explore in the area. Great spring break

Wonderful Relaxing Family Getaway

We fully enjoyed our 4 day stay over Christmas. Cabin was cite, fully stocked and had all the amenities we needed. Despite the super cold weather my adult son canoed on the lake. We enjoyed watching the geese and other birds. We walked on the small trail that covers one side of the lake and then at the spillway it follows the creek for a while. Very peaceful. The kitchen was great and we were able to cook Christmas dinner for 4. We sat in the hottub at dusk- so incredible to sit in sub freezing weather and fully enjoy the hot water. And then to go inside and build a roaring fire. Be sure to go outside at night and look at the stars. We could see far more stars than w we do in Atlanta. The property is conviently close to Ellijay which has restaurants and great grocery shopping at Ingles but we stocked up and spent our time relaxing at the cabin. Great location that we will plan future trips to again.

Amazing

The owner was very commutative and responsive. Cabin is in a great location, very clean and cozy. Sits right on a small lake with a great view. We kayaked both days and it was amazing. Would go again for sure!

Quite cabin on the lake

We had a great stay at the cabin even though it was cold and sleeting for some of our stay. We still got out on the lake in the canoe and hiked the trails. Cabin was clean and had everything we needed. Thank you for having a hair dryer, paper towels, trash bags, tea and coffee, firewood and all the extras! We enjoyed a movie at the drive in in Blue Ridge and loved shopping in downtown.

Awesome family vacay

This place is just what we needed! First of all, the location is the perfect balance between privacy and convenience to dining and activities. It is literally half way between Blue Ridge and Ellijay; about a 15 minute drive to either. But would want to leave the cabin!? Stunning views, fishing, canoes, a hiking trail, hot tub, fire pit…we enjoyed it all and can’t wait to come back! Thank you letting us enjoy your beautiful cabin!

Very relaxing weekend getaway this was the perfect cabin wasn’t to far away from downtown blue ridge and ellijay the cabin was beautiful and clean and I would rent this cabin again!

Fall Getaway

WOW! What a beautiful cabin! We were there over Halloween weekend and the cabin was decorated! What a nice and personal touch. We enjoyed making fires, fishing, and relaxing on the beautiful porches. All the comforts of home but tucked away to make you feel like you were out in the woods. Just perfect! Our host was very accommodating!

Charming Cabin

Family had a great time at this cabin! From the bouquet of flowers to welcome you when you walk in to the cozy kitchen that has everything you need for cooking. The lake, fire pit, the cabin were all that we needed for a perfect getaway. Very clean inside and outside. Hope to stay again!

Host has thought of everything

This cabin is gorgeous, well-appointed, and in a fantastic location. It’s just a short drive to Elijay or Blue Ridge. Sitting down by the lake or by the fire pit we’re our favorite parts of our stay. She also has a hot tub that was very relaxing. The beds were comfortable. I hope we can stay here again sometime! Thank you!

Lake Buckhorn Cabin

Overall it was a good experience. The cabin was clean and nicely appointed. I feel a few things could be addressed., mainly there were no comfortable chairs or furniture to sit in either inside or on the porches. My 82 year old dad could not find a comfortable chair c5 and was very sore. Also the outside is a bit run down. From the landscaping to the stairs and walkway to the water. Lots of places to turn an Ankle.

Peaceful retreat

Our stay was beautiful even though it rained a lot. I found myself sitting on the front porch swing listening to the rain on the leaves. There were plenty of games and puzzles inside to pass the time. The cabin felt like a home away from home the moment we walked through the door. The property manager was amazing and easy to reach and very accommodating. The lake was beautiful so in between rains we took my kids down to go swimming and canoeing. My kids are 5, 6, and 10 and they all had a great time. My youngest two are boys and this was paradise for them as they spent time playing in the rain, in the water, fishing, kayaking, and hanging out by the bonfire with us. Everything was amazing and we would definitely stay again!

Summer Vacation in the Heart of the Mountains

The cabin we booked was absolutely beautiful. It was in the middle of everything; whether we wanted to go to Ellijay or Blue Ridge it was all about less than 20 minutes away. All the rooms had smart TVs for those with kids that want to have something to watch in the latter part of the day and the attention to detail of the property was very welcomed. We will definitely look to stay again and take advantage of the remaining amenities we didn't get a chance to use.
