Oceanfront coastal living at its finest! This sophisticated Surf City home was planned with incomparable attention to detail and built with the finest materials. Besides offering a breathtaking experience of sand and surf, this well appointed home invites you to lounge or rock in a chair on one of two spacious covered decks. You can also enjoy the sundeck on the dune and bask in full, glorious sun. Take a few steps to the sand and a few more to put your toes in the surf. That's when you understand why this beachfront home is called Himmelstrand, "Heaven's Beach."

Enjoy your stay in one of six large, tastefully decorated ensuite bedrooms. This multi-generation family-friendly beachfront home comes with numerous quality touches and amenities: an elevator services all three floors, newly renovated kitchen fully equipped for foodies and cooks alike with new quartz countertops, hardwoods and tile throughout, separate water heaters for each floor, a gathering play area with kitchenette, spacious outside shower, and beach access directly from the house. Himmelstrand has been lovingly maintained and appointed. Located 3/4 of a mile south of the Surf City pier on a quiet low traffic street, Himmelstrand is an easy stroll or bike ride from the shops and restaurants of Surf City.

We absolutely love staying at this house! Having each bedroom en suite is a major selling point for our group of friends and the overhang on the deck is great for the group of us that aren’t sun bunnies. The house is always clean and well maintained and being right on the beach is just amazing. Thank you!

Host was fabulous! The house was wonderful! Love everything! Loved all the en suite bathrooms. Lots of chairs beach toys activities! Our family had a fantastic time we absolutely love the location and the beach is beautiful we love the sand.

The house sits back a little so you cannot see all the way down the beach to the pier BUT there is an unobstructed beachview. The kitchen had what we needed. Each bedroom had its own bathroom and there was a lot of dining room space as well as outside deck space!We enjoyed our visit!

The new outside shower was a very nice update. One observation: an excessive amount of food items were left on one of shelves in the kitchen pantry. We did not discard any of the items but it appeared that many of them should have been removed or taken by previous guests. We always appreciate the extra little perks such as the hand soaps in every bathroom and in the kitchen. We especially enjoyed breakfast on the deck watching the early more waves. It was a very hot week but the famous Topsail breeze helped to make it a pleasant week.

Beach Vacation

Our family enjoyed a wonderful week at the beach. It was a very warm week but the Topsail breeze helped to keep us cool. Everything about this house is perfect for our family.

Excellent location

The house was as advertised. This was second year we stayed in this property and if we return to Surf city again, we will try to rent this house again.

Lovely beach house in a great location with everything we needed for a family gathering. The two covered decks with the comfortable rocking chairs were a hit as were all the en-suite bathrooms! The elevator was very helpful in getting groceries and luggage up to the top floor, especially for the 70 year olds in the group. Would definitely return here.

House is amazing! Clean, close to everything, and well appointed. This was our second year staying here and it never disappoints! Our party ranged in age from infant to 95 years old and everyone had what they needed.

Awesome family vacation

We had a fantastic week! The location was perfect and the house anticipates your every need. We especially enjoyed the deck every night listening to the ocean with a beverage in hand!

Amazing house!

This is a beautiful and well kept property that is perfect for a group of adults. Everyone has their own bathroom and there’s one room that’s great for a family with kids. The house is well laid out and comfortable and the covered porch is amazing or sitting out and looking at the ocean when it gets too hot to sit on the beach. Really enjoyed our stay!
