Beautiful waterfront vacation home with gorgeous views of Mobile Bay in the Fort Morgan area. Enjoy magnificent sunsets from the deck and fishing from the pier. There are 3 bedrooms (one on main floor and two upstairs) and 2 full baths in this home which comfortably sleeps 6. Well equipped kitchen to prepare meals with open gathering space with plenty of seating. Enjoy the privacy of Ft Morgan but still close enough to enjoy all of the shopping, restaurants, and entertainment that Gulf Shores has to offer. Close to public boat launches and a historical Civil War Fort to explore along with other historical sites. This home is close to restaurants/shops at The Beach Club and other popular restaurants such as Tacky Jacks II, The Sassy Bass, Sassy Bass Island Grill, Kiva Grill, etc.
Fort Morgan Marina is only 6.9 miles away where you can choose from charter fishing, sightseeing cruises, or watercraft rentals.
Bon Secour National Wildlife Refuge is 4 miles away where visitors can enjoy the beach on the Gulf of Mexico, walk nature trails, and observe birds and wildlife.
If you enjoy golf - Kiva Dunes Resort and Golf is less than a mile away and The Peninsula Golf and Racquet Club is 7 miles away.
The "tourist area" of Gulf Shores is 13 miles to the east where you will find all of the typical beach town experiences such as mini golf, go kart track, restaurants, ice cream shops, souvenir shops, festivals, etc. Other area attractions within day driving distance include Waterville USA, the Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo, The Park at OWA, The Wharf and shopping at Foley Tanger Outlets.

* Free guest parking - space for 3-4 vehicles on site.
* Amenities include free WiFi, smart tv's, and equipped kitchen, outdoor deck, private pier.
* Linens come furnished, but please bring your own beach towels.
* Guests receive a “single starter pack” of laundry detergent, dish washing detergent, one trash bag per trash can, and travel-sized shampoo and soap per bathroom.

Disappointing

House was not well maintained or clean. Unsafe conditions outside due to not having lighting on the pier or anywhere outside the house. Very limited kitchen supplies. Yard needs attention along with the inside of the home. The laundry unit is outdated and rusted, and the laundry area is disgusting. The upstairs bedroom did not have blinds only shears. It took pest control 4 visits before they got the palmetto (cockroach) situation under control. This could be a nice home, but the owner obviously doesn't care to put any money back into it.

Great Stay

We enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and comfortable. It was quiet and relaxing. Would have loved it if there was a ladder off the dock to get in the water. Would stay here again!

Great place to stay!

We loved this house! It was great! Our 16 year old and my husband caught so many fish off of the pier at all hours of the day. I loved the décor in the house! It was a short drive to the beach and everything you could need is within a ten minute drive. Great place!!!!

Cute spot on the water

We had a very nice and peaceful stay. Lots of room and perfect for a small family. Very close to Fort Morgan Beach. Only negative was the tv in the living room but not that big of a deal because we were there for the view. Easy check in and no problems at all. Would definitely stay there again.

Great spot

We loved this location! We made the short drive to a lovely beach each morning and afternoon and enjoyed the views of the bay while at the house. The kitchen was well stocked and there was plenty of room for our small family. You do have to walk through the bedroom with two twin beds to get to the other upstairs and bathroom. It was not a problem for us, but something good to know ahead of time. We would stay here again!

Needs updated

It could be a nice house. Not sure how pictures are taken to make it look better than it is. We recently came down and drive past. I see the homes painted and some decking replaced. All decking needs replaced. The carpets in the pictures hopefully were cleaned because they were dirty and really don't match anything. Hopefully a new cleaning service was established. We won't rent again, just come and say hi to Jimmy!

Great place

The only fault we found was it is not very handicap accessible!! Not really suited for older folks like us!! Too many step downs inside and out!! Otherwise it was great!!

Privacy with a view

We really enjoyed this bay front home. Our favorite thing about this home was the location! Beautiful view, away from the crowd, plenty of space for parking and turning around our kayak trailer. We also enjoyed the spacious living area with lots of comfortable seating to enjoy family time! The kitchen was well equipped, a plus for us because we like to cook our own meals. It fit our needs very nicely!!

Winter Va-Ca in Gulf Shores

Beautiful location, super close to a dog friendly beach, plenty of room for all of our needs. Any and all issues were dealt with in a quick response. I would highly recommend this property.

cold & windy

came in Jan, thought it would be warmer/ we were there for 17 days and saw the sun for a total of 4 hours. Many of restaurant's were closed. Those that were open gave no discount for off-season. It was a very quiet place to stay... fun to watch the birds fishing, however we had no luck, with crab or fish . if you are looking to veg in a nice, clean house... this is it in January.

Clean and comfortable stay

This property is close to everything, but not in the middle of the tourist area of Gulf Shores. It was clean and has an updated bathroom and kitchen. The only criticisms I have is that the glass side entry door neet a privacy shade and the laundry area needs to be updated. For the price and location, I would recommend.

Great for price, could have been better

The stay was fine. Went for fishing but weather was bad most of week. Great family time. The only downside had nothing to do with the place but the house being built 40 ft away. If you don't mind construction noise then this place is good for fishing.

Not luxury but charming and everything else

Perfect location, private dock(if you like to fish, we caught trout, pompano and 4 other species frim it), 2 story 3 bedroom, large deck overlooking the bay. The place has not been updated since built, however, it was clean and had everything you need and it was near restaurants, yet private. If you're expecting the Ritz, better go elsewhere, but if you want a quiet place with a view for a reasonable rate, this is it.

Great bay getaway

This was a great place. Needs some tlc, but in general we loved the house, location and dock. I really loved the two living areas and the A/C is great. Made us feel like home. We will definitely consider it again next time. Very responsive owner. Thank you Shonna.

Labor Day Getaway

Overall property was nice. Cleanliness inside could of been better such as dust bunnies in most corners. Enjoyed the dock fishing but definitely need to consider getting a ladder to get in and out of the water or off of Jet Ski like we had. Thankfully the kind neighbor offered us a ladder to use which made a huge difference. Overall nice place for the money. I would return.

Gorgeous sunsets

It was convenient to Gulf Shore and the restaurants and beach. Very nicely decorated. Needs some updates like a new refrigerator and other items, but spoke to the owners father and they will be making those repairs. Loved the location.

you get what you pay for

the house itself needed to be cleaned way better and the pictures look nothing like the house. however, i loved the area we were in and our neighbors were great. the house itself was very affordable, which is why i wouldn’t complain to much. it is a very sustainable house, and we really enjoyed it. will probably book again!

Cheap on the bay

This place is cheaper than others in the area so if that’s your thing then maybe it’s right. But be warned, this is an investment property for someone and is clearly neglected - it’s not a great place. Most things in the house were broken or not cleaned. The bed upstairs is very old and uncomfortable with no padding and the twin bedroom, so you have to walk through that bedroom to get to the queen size room, so no privacy. The bathtub downstairs is disgusting and simply unusable. The dock was broken and off the piers at the time of our visit (unusable) and the app conveniently failed to send the message from the property management. The backyard that shows a picture of what could be a great beach type area is actually overgrown by weeds and littered with beer bottles and trash from neighbors and other previous guests. Just not great.
