Even with boat trailer issues and not getting to fish we still had a good together, spent some very quality time with spouse. Neighbors were very quiet. Overall we would rent this one again.

We enjoyed our stay! Having the dock right out the back was amazing! The house was very comfortable and the air conditioning worked very well considering the heat wave we experienced. Location was convenient, with short 5-10 minute drive to the beach.

We enjoyed the peaceful location, fishing in the pier was great. Our little enjoyed singing on the steps hearing her beautiful voice echo. The beach was a quick drive & we appreciate the slower side of the area.

First off, the property was very small, but it did work for what we needed. The photos in the listing make the house look larger than it actually is. I would say six people could stay here, but it would be a little cramped.Second, the house is outdated and could definitely use a good deep cleaning, along with some general maintenance and updates, as you can see in some of my photos.The dock was nice to have, especially since we came to fish, but it is very small and pretty basic. There is no power, no lighting, and only one weak rod holder. If you are planning to spend a lot of time fishing from the dock, it may feel a little underwhelming compared to some of the surrounding properties.The house itself also felt somewhat weak and unsteady in a few areas. There were some soft spots in the floor near the back door leading onto the deck, and the steps leading up from the dock to the deck also felt weak.With all of that said, we still had a great time during our stay. The host was excellent to communicate with—very friendly, helpful, and extremely responsive. Even before our trip, they answered our questions very quickly.Overall, I feel like you get what you pay for here. We were happy with the price of the house, and I would consider it a budget-friendly stay. With a few updates, repairs, and a good deep cleaning, I think this property could be a worthwhile place to stay. However, if no repairs or general maintenance have been done, I probably would not stay here again

excellent place and location. great dock for fishing and crabbing. My only drawback was the master bedroom was small and cramped but I can live with that will definitly consider it a first choice if availabl

We enjoyed our stay! Very tranquil which was exactly what we wanted! We didn't catch any fish however, we saw dolphins almost every day! The cottage was clean and offered every thing that we needed.

Overall enjoyed the property and location. The house could use a good deep clean (walls and cabinets) and a new broom. We would rent again.

We had a great time. The hosts were responsive and helpful. Sitting on the deck overlooking the water was so relaxing. Lots of restaurants close that are dog friendly.

We loved this house!! Our family of four (two young-ish) kids and our dog visited for 5 days and it was a perfect fit for us. The space was cozy, clean and everything functioned as it should. The beds were comfy, kitchen was well stocked, and we loved having the ceiling fans everywhere! We enjoyed spending time on the dock searching the waters for jellyfish, hermit crabs and fish. We come to Fort Morgan often but have never stayed on the bay side before. This was a nice change of pace, different views and Bon Secour entry points were a close enough drive that we didn’t miss a thing. Thank you for opening your home to us! It was a treat!

The housekeeping staff was amazing to work with. We had an issue with my son getting sick on some linens, and they were very helpful. The property management company communicated quickly via vrbo messages. Other than that, we would not stay here again. The property is in dire need of maintenance and updates. It is not set up for a family or to make the most of the outdoor space. The main bathroom door doesn’t stay open, and the main floor bedroom door won’t close. The shower ceiling was falling off into the bath tub. There was a dead rat near the laundry room that had obviously been there a while. No dock lights, steps, or ladder to enjoy the lagoon. Overall not great.

This is a great location right on the bay. I would recommend overall. We caught a couple redfish and enjoyed the view from the deck. We enjoyed meals on the large dining table. You have everything you need here for an enjoyable stay. While there are a few things (icemaker, higher quality sheets, furniture repairs) that would spruce the place up, this is a good value for your dollar and a really enjoyable spot. Jessi's on the Bay is nearby and a delicious dinner spot (for a higher end night out)! The walk to the lovely, nearby beach isn't super quick, but getting someone to drop you off with stuff and then parking back at the house (and the one doing the drop off walking without hauling stuff) works great.
