Bayfront Vacation Home - gorgeous views and perfect for family vacation

Enjoy the most beautiful sunsets from this quaint, private vacation home located directly on the bay!! Relax on the spacious deck and watch the birds and dolphins. There is a private pier for fishing or just soaking up the sunshine. The property is located on the Fort Morgan Peninsula away from the hustle and bustle of the main Gulf Shores tourist area yet close enough to visit all of the attractions if desired. The kitchen is equipped with appliances, cookware, and serving ware. There are 3 bedrooms and 1 full bathroom in the main living area of the home. There is a bonus second full utility bathroom on the ground level that is perfect for rinsing off after the beach or to easily access while fishing off the dock. The house comfortably sleeps 6 guests. Primary bedroom has a king sized bed, guest room 1 has a full sized bed, and guest room 2 has two twin beds.
Closest Gulf beach access is about 1.5 miles away. Additional beach access points with paved parking 3.5-4.1 miles away. Ft Morgan historic site and beach are 8.6 miles away. Championship golf courses and fishing charters within 10 miles. The Village Hideaway Restaurant and The Beach Club Resort are directly across Hwy 180 from the property (0.2 mile).
***Daily/Weekly passes for The Clubhouse at The Beach Club across the highway may be purchased to use during your vacation! Includes use of seasonally heated outdoor pool, heated indoor pool, fitness center, game room, and more. Rates between $36-$48 per day based on number of days purchased. Please contact management for more details.

This property is located approximately 12 miles west of Hwy 59 on AL HWY 180 in Gulf Shores, Alabama.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS

* Free guest parking - up to 3 vehicles on site.

* Amenities include free WiFi, 3 smart tv's (no cable/satellite), and fully equipped kitchen, outdoor deck, private pier.

* Linens come furnished, but please bring your own beach towels.

* Guests receive a “single starter pack” of laundry detergent, dish washing detergent, one trash bag per trash can, one roll paper towels/toilet paper, and travel-sized soap per bathroom.

Excellent stay

The property is a little older but it was clean. My husband and I wanted a place off the grid a little and away from the noise of tourist spots. Plus he wanted to do a lot of fishing. It was the perfect choice with the private dock and in location. We would definitely look to book here again.

Just what was needed…

We enjoyed our vacation to the Gulf Shores. We will definitely be back. The VRBO was convenient to all necessary items, while at the same time being remote and quiet. The location allowed us to relax enjoy the water or take a short drive to catch the ferry to Dauphine Island, walk at the wildlife refuge or shop at the Wharf.

Relaxing

It was a calming place to be and spend our evenings and mornings before we headed out to the beach. We woulld sit out on the porch and look at the water view.

"The time of my life" the viewpoint of an 11 year old

From the booking, to directions, to all the comforts of home our experience could not have been better. The property is just as described, even better. We were so pleased with our stay and are looking forward to the next time we can be down by the bay!!!

Fun getaway!

We enjoyed our stay we would have loved to be able to relax and enjoy the scenery, but we were there for work. Planning on coming back later to enjoy, relax and enjoy the beach. The space was perfect for our needs had all the amenities of home. Love it.

Great time!

Our adult son stayed in the downstairs bedroom, I’m not sure if the smell was moldy or just the damp wood paneling, but he was happy there, the bathroom was very small downstairs so we didn’t use it for showers, just for bathroom breaks while fishing and cleaning fish (the fishing was great)! We enjoyed the views the whole time! And it was very peaceful and quiet. No complaints!

Enjoyed the stay, everything was good. Did have to put garbage from previous tenants out before we we used garbage cans. One can was full, the second partly so.

Spring break 2023

Brought friends and family to stay at this house for spring break. Plenty of room, clean, and pretty view with a private dock. Gas station in walking distance but quite a hike to the beach (15 min walk). Not many food delivery options but Walmart did deliver (multiple times lol).

Enjoyed it

Nice location away from the busy part of town. We caught fish off the dock every night. For $48 my family was able to go across the street and enjoy a pool day at the Beach Club. Ask the host for those details. Make sure you pack extra toilet paper,dish soap, trash bags and paper towels!

Great mini vacation

Great place to enjoy bay. Upstairs was very clean easy checking in. All the commodities just bring food and clothes. Checked the downstairs bathroom and bedroom kinda smelt like mildew didn't stay down there. Over all is was fun. Very tight driveway and it floods so wouldn't recommend bringing a trailer or anything large. Nearby convenient store and dollar general

Great house, weather not so much

To no one’s fault but my own, the 2 main things I didn’t care for was not being close to the beach and the end of January weather. I didn’t do my research well enough. This place would be awesome in the summer time with the breeze coming off the bay. Host was great and I actually love the house and the quiet neighborhood.

Home away from home

The only issue we had was the king bedroom didn't have a remote for the tv but we made it work cause the living room tv remote worked with the bedroom tv. We enjoyed sitting on the deck listening to the waves at night it was so peaceful. My family and I have stayed at other rental houses in many different states but this house made us feel like we was at home while we was on vacation. I would stay there again. PROS- we felt like we was at home while on vacation. CONS- missing remote

Perfect Getaway on The Bay!!

The cottage is very charming. We loved it! The pier on the bay was amazing! My son caught blue crabs for the first time and my daughter cooked them. They had a fishing contest and caught all kinds of fish! The location was perfect. The older kids went to the beach every day. The water was calm and clear!!! My daughter even loved the downstairs bonus room. We had a quick major storm one night and branches fell on my windshield and made multiple cracks. The company was very professional about it! We would love to return. We had a family of 8, and it was the perfect size!!!

A sad time for us.

The location was great. but there were small roaches inside. On our arrival we got a phone call that my mother in law had dies. So we stayed one night and then had to travel home. but the coffee maker did not work that morning. I wish we could have gotten some money back or a voucher to use at another time. I understand the rules but a death should be an excuse to get some sort of a refund.
