Relax at this quiet, waterfront 1-bed/1-bath home featuring a full kitchen, comfortable living area, private screened-in porch, and in-unit laundry. Enjoy peaceful canal views right from your porch—perfect for morning coffee or evening unwind time. There’s plenty of parking available for cars and trailers, and you can cook up your fresh catch on the charcoal grill.
Bring your kayak, paddleboard, or small boat! The property offers easy water access, though please note the shallow water and low bridge (~6 ft clearance) limit access for large boats or vessels with tall tops, towers, or windshields. Flats boats, jon boats, surface drives, jet skis, and canoes are ideal. A small on-site boat ramp makes launching simple.
You’ll also love the location—just 200 ft from The Freezer and close to The Shed, Monkey Bar, and other popular local spots. Perfect for a relaxing waterfront stay with convenience at your doorstep.

The AC kept the rooms cool. The queen bed was comfortable. The location is perfect-right on an inlet on the Homosassa River. Very peaceful and quiet sitting in the screened Lanai room and outside on the deck. We enjoyed our month long stay.

We had a Wonderful Time. Plenty of Fun things to do and see. Lots of restaurants. We will definitely be back! Loved that we could easily launch our kayaks from the property. Also took E bike ride around the town to the restaurants and nearby shops. Comfortable and so Relaxing sitting in the screen in room, watching and listening to the nature around us.

We spent a most enjoyable five days in Homosassa and the vicinity. The house was perfect for our needs and was very clean. We paddle boarded in many local rivers and springs, even to and from local eateries in Homosassa. We will return next spring for sure!

Property was perfect for the proximity to event at nearby marina. So close to the best seafood at the Freezer, grocery store convenience and waterway. I definitely will be staying there again for another beautiful visit to Homosassa.

I was there for a weekend of paddle boarding. Sam’s place was a wonderful location, quiet seclusion yet close to everything. Will definitely stay here again!

Boat ramp totally inadequate for a Flats Boat. Culvert did not have adequate clearance for the Boat. When I finally got the boat out at low tide I could never get it back under the bridge and scrambled every day for secure location to store it overnight. Which Required unloading Every Night and Reloading each morning!

Boat ramp is too small for any traditional size boat. That’s why I don’t even list it as an amenity. If you have a really small boat, a gheenoe, or a jet ski, or a jet ski it might possibly work. I have a flat’s boat with a polling platform and it clears the bridge 99% of the time. But it is an area controlled by tides. If they’re unreasonably high, it is difficult. I generally come back about an hour later and it’s fine.

Great location and clean
Great location near restaurants, bars, marinas and docks. Clean, comfortable and quiet.

Quiet getaway, close to everything
This is a great little place that is close to everything. Very quiet but walking distance to basically everywhere. Sam the host was amazing and went over and above to make sure I had the best possible stay. I will definitely be staying here again.
