Hosts were incredibly responsive and quick to respond. Kitchen is fully stocked for whatever you would need or want. Clearly they put a lot of thought into what you might need or have forgotten. Love that they provide lots of beach equipment so you don't have to bring your own. The game room is a fun addition to your hang time at the house. Be mindful of steep stairs if you have little ones or older family members.

Kimmy, our host provided great information prior to check in. Loved that there was a beach wagon and umbrella available on site to take to the beach. The location is close to both Pismo and Avila. Our visit included “older” guests- wish there was a bedroom on the ground floor- but that was my bad for not looking more closely. The place is great. Pots/towels/basics were available and excellent.

Great layout with nice outdoor space and a fun games room. Beds were comfy and we liked the easy drive to pismo, outlets and SLO. Also cool that the closest beach you can drive onto.

Great property

Overall great property, perfect location, kitchen well stocked, Fun activities to do. Hosts were very helpful . Would definitely come back for another visit

Communication was really good and the house was very comfortable. There was a slight issue with the hot tub, and the host was very upfront and helpful in resolving the issue and it all worked out. The house was a great stay for our family trip

Perfect family getaway

We really enjoyed staying here, especially my children! We had everything we needed to have a good time at the beach, prepare & eat meals, and have fun at the house. The location was perfectly central for us. We would definitely come again!

Wow! What a beautiful home.

Close to the beach, nicely decorated and very clean. Would love to stay again. Hands down the nicest place we have stayed so far!

Near the beach

The property was in a nice neighborhood. Very quiet. Plus just a 3 minute drive to the beach. Close to restaurants and grocery store.

Spring Break Stay

House was just as described. Game room was a nice addition for our kids. Lots of room for us and our kids. Overall great house for our family, would definitely stay there again

Wonderful beach getaway

My family had an amazing time! Will definitely be coming back. We loved the game room especially after long days out at the beach. John and Kimmy were great hosts and responded to my messages almost immediately every time I sent one with a question.

Great Beach Getaway

We had a great time at Seaside Retreat. The house was well stocked with everything we needed. Everything was clean. Nice size house, plenty of room for parents and teens to relax. Teens could walk to the beach by themselves. The game room was great, a real plus!

We provided 8 coffee pods per stay. Considering for 1 day stay, we thought it would be well covered. Otherwise, there’re near by grocery shop just minutes away.

Game room is awesome!

We had a great stay at this cute place! The game room was a hit with the whole family! Our dog was very comfortable too. John & Kimmie were very nice and welcoming. It worked out that my mom did not join us, because the bedrooms are upstairs. It worked well for us, though! Definitely recommend!

This is such an amazing property! We had the bezt time! Game room was so much fun, we spent so much time in the evenings enjoying family game nights! So close to anything and everything. Very sound proof that you didn't get disturbed and even all the fun and laughter in the game room could not hear. Bathrooms great, showers great! Kitchen really wasn't used much as we enjoyed all the great dinning around. Coffee was so great! Enjoyed sitting around the table. The patio was so great to enjoy. Area of location was great! If ever in this area would diffently stay again.

Great house but location is sketchy

Wish we could take this place and move it into a different location. The neighborhood felt very unsafe and is in an affordable living area. It is walking distance to the beach which is around a 15 minute walk however the walk to the beach is not pleasant. Busy streets and industrial buildings and RV’s. For the price we paid we should have stayed in Avila beach.

We glad to hear you enjoyed the amenities that provided. We don’t think the perception of the neighborhood is fair as we have one of the safest neighborhood in the Five Cities. Just because it’s affordable living area (average home close to $1M), it shouldn’t mean the area is unsafe.

Great place close to the beach

Overall really nice. Maybe a 3-4 minute drive to the beach which was very convenient. Game room was great to hang out in. Only issues were that 2 of the 3 pool cues were in pretty bad shape. Also the listing said there were bikes in the shed. There was only one bike and it had a flat tire. Not a big deal to us but if you were looking forward to riding bikes to the beach it would be a little disappointing. Other than that it was a nice clean place to spend the weekend.
