Great ocean view

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit had beautiful views of the ocean, boogie boarders and surfers.Not the most updated living area but comfortable. Kitchen was modern and had all that was needed. Walking distance to shopping and restaurants.3

Disappointing and Needs Work

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: D-26 needs work. Blind in living room is falling out of the track and literally disintegrating. The sofa is very dirty and we covered it with a towel because we did not want to sit on it. A corner of the living area rug is duct taped to the floor.Washcloths are stained and thin, pillows are thin and lumpy.Location and view great, new kitchen sink and countertops, air conditioning in bedroom are nice.We have stayed in other units at Kona Reef and tried this one because of the air conditioning in the bedroom, but would not stay there again.

Aloha, and thank you for your feedback. We’re glad you enjoyed the beautiful location and view, as well as the updated kitchen and bedroom air conditioning. We did want to clarify a few items mentioned in your review. The sofa was inspected and was not found to be dirty. The corner of the area rug was intentionally secured to the floor to prevent it from sliding or creating a potential trip hazard. The living room blind is beginning to unthread with age, rather than falling apart due to a lack of care, and we will be addressing that. We do appreciate your comments regarding the pillows and washcloths. We will be replacing those items to ensure they are fresh and comfortable for future guests. Thank you again for staying with us and for sharing your feedback.

We booked this place for our honeymoon and absolutely loved our stay here! It was so clean and had everything we needed and more. The property management company was so responsive and accommodating. We had an issue with the AC unit in the living room and they had someone out to fix it within a couple of hours. The property is a short walk to downtown Kona, where there are plenty of great restaurants, bars, and shops. Highly recommend this place! Would definitely stay here again!

Nice simple condo right on the oceanfront. The sound of the waves are much better than the road noise from Ali’i Drive if you can choose. Great communication from the host. Easy walk to town. Would stay again!

Property was great as shown in photos, easy parking, gorgeous views, great outside areas on balcony and property, fully stocked for anything you could need..including beach & snorkle plans, strong air conditioner, close walk to great spots, and easy ride down the road to beaches!

Convenient location

Conveniently located, walking distance to restaurants, markets, and shops. Also walking to small sandy beach right next door. Great balcony to watch surfers, boats, sunset, eating and lounging. We also enjoyed trying out the snorkel gear provided!

Better than Maui

We had a great 5 day stay at this condo. The location of the property was walking distance to all sorts of restaurants. We also snuck in a couple of 4 mile runs. We will definitely be back.

Wonderful View!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Clean, comfortable condo with spectacular view

We love this complex. It’s quiet and walking distance to all the shops and restaurants. The oceanfront units are wonderful.

Wonderful Kona Stay

Hawaiian Vacation Stay

This condo was perfect! It was clean, had everything we needed, and the location was excellent (very close walk to town/restaurants). The balcony was incredible with amazing views of the ocean. Highly recommend.

Great location!

This is a great property located directly on the ocean and within walking distance to restaurants, shops, and other activities. It was great to enjoy the sound and sight of the ocean each day and it’s a prime location for the amazing Big Island sunsets! Mahalo!

perfect Kona getaway

Terrific location, just a 20 minute walk from the main shopping district in Kona, and only a bit longer to get to the Kailua pier. Kona Reef D26 has everything you need for your Kona vacation. But you may never leave your lanai - the perfect spot to relax and watch whales and dolphins not far from shore!

Convenient condo with great views

This condo was well-appointed with everything we could ask for during our stay. It was extremely clean, well taken care of, and comfortable for our time in Kona. The location was great and provided easy access to beaches, restaurants, shops, and main thoroughfares.

Beautiful condo on the water!!

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying in this condo for four days in September. The view was perfect, the unit was beautiful and very comfortable. The complex was quiet, much better than staying in a hotel. We loved it and would definitely stay here again.
