Kona Reef is one of the most ideal resort destinations on the Kona Coast. Walking distance to town (less than a mile through downtown to the IronMan pier!). Experience restaurants, shopping, ocean sports, killer ocean views of all the Kona activities right at your front ocean door. Did I mention Honl's Beach, one of the best white sandy beaches found on the Kona Coast is right next to the Kona Reef?

The condo has been completely remodeled - Jan, 2018 - tiled baths with glass-enclosed showers, all tile floors throughout. Feb, 2021 - new kitchen cabinets, new mattresses, new AC unit, new lanai table. March, 2022 - completely painted, new lanai chairs, new linens, new coffee maker, assorted new pillows, new electronic locks, new dining room furniture (4/22), new living room furniture (7/22)! March, 2023 - new dishwasher, range and ceiling fans. April, 2026 - new linens, AC unit.

It is one of four of the largest in the complex, sleeping 5 in beds - a king in one room and a queen and twin in the other. This is a corner unit which affords extra light - and exposure and views of open ocean and Kona town from everywhere. Don’t pass this one up! 'Book it Dano' '!

The condo was exactly as pictured and described. The amenities provided were abundant and even more than expected! Location is perfect to get to the Historic Kailua Village for shopping and restaurants. Being in Ali'i Drive was so convenient to get on the 11/19 Hwy.One of the best parts was waking up each morning to the amazing view. We had coffee and breakfast on the Lanai every morning.

Loved our stay…perfect for 2 couples. Enjoyed the grilling area around the pool…great walkability to town, stores & restaurants.The views!!!!Sitting in back porch every night for sunsets was a highlight.

Fantastic location and nice condo. The lack of air conditioning in the bedrooms was a little bothersome and minor things missing were an ice maker in the freezer and a water filter or even filtering pitcher so we wouldn’t have had to purchase bottled water. However, I think it was an excellent value, and it’s hard to be too unhappy about minor inconveniences when you’re on vacation in paradise! Lots of great restaurants and cute little shops and a farmers market within walking distance were wonderful and the views from the condo were spectacular. It was cool to watch the surfers and the people were very friendly. Almost every evening at the pool there was a beautiful sunset ceremony where two older gentlemen (permanent residents at the property) played conch shells facing all directions. I highly recommend taking a private helicopter tour—- well worth the drive to Hilo. Flying over active volcanos and landing at a waterfall was an unforgettable experience. I also highly recommend going on a stargazing tour and seeking out some of the “off the beaten path” beautiful beaches. Mahalo!

Great location!

Oceanfront condo with great access to nearby shops and restaurants. Clean, well stocked unit that was very comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay!

Excellent location!

Very nice condo in a perfect location. Loved watching the surfers, and very convenient walk to Kona village. Sunsets were amazing!

Kona paradise

The condo was so lovely! The views from the lanai were spectacular from sunrise to sunset. We appreciated the well appointed kitchen and the grill area by the pool. The condo had everything we needed to enjoy the beautiful beaches in the area. It was a great place to stay.

Great view, directly on the ocean. Well stocked and close to town. Responsive host. AC is located in great room/kitchen, does not fully reach bedrooms, although there are multiple fans in bedrooms.

Fantastic location & view

Incredible ocean view, easy walk to restaurants, ocean breezes and fans (no air conditioning), wonderful lanai to watch surfers. Easy access to everything!

Please note that the guest means they didn’t need to use the AC. This condo does have a 24,000 btu air conditioner in the main living area.

Wonderful family friendly unit close to activities!

We loved our stay in this unit. The ocean view is spectacular and we enjoyed watching dolphins from the lanai!Unit has all the amenities you’d need to feel at home. The location of Kona Reef is also great and we loved our morning walks to Kailua pier. Centrally located near great snorkeling, shopping and fining - what’s not to love! We’ll be back!!

Loved this Ocean front condo!

Girls trip to Kona was fantastic. This condo was great. We loved watching the sunset on the patio. It’s close to several great restaurants and a nice beach. I would rent this condo again.

Nice Ocean Front Condo

The condo has been nicely updated and you can open the the doors to the Lanai and listen to the waves crashing on the beach. The condo was clean and had all pots and pans and utensils and items required. A very convenient location as well.
