#5-103 is private, recently remodeled, very spacious, & truly special!

The Keauhou Surf and Racquet Club is a gated community of condominiums. There are three professional style tennis courts with night lighting. The large remodeled swimming pool is ideal for “laps” and also for small children and other water activities. Showers and restrooms are conveniently located in the large pavilion near the swimming pool and tennis courts.
One of the most interesting features of the Keauhou Surf and Racquet Club are the numerous archaeological sites. These preserved areas provide a glimpse of Hawaiian life years ago. Each site has a posted description of the activities that took place years and years ago.
The Keauhou Surf and Racquet Club has many gardens and walking trails. ONE GOES DIRECTLY TO A BEACH!! Flowers and tropical foliage are abundant. There are several outdoor barbecue areas for guests to go to.

The floorpan of this unit, with a large common area and two separated bedrooms/bathrooms, is excellent for a couple or 4-member family. Spacious patio. Very useful that it has a washer-dryer, though you'll need a trip to the shopping center (1 mile drive) to get laundry soap.

Mid Upscale Resort, ocean front

Impressive, from entering the property to arriving at our unit. We were oceanfront, but far enough back to the sound of the waves or somewhat muted; which was one of our concerns when we rented the property. The unit itself was impressive, well equipped, and comfortable. We had an issue with the TVs, but I’m sure the issue was us being senior citizens. Contacted the management company, they promptly sent over a very delightful and helpful employee to get us back on track. Only a couple of things could’ve been improved upon, one being it was advertised as an end unit and it was in the middle, another one was there was supposed to be some consumables to get started, which I assume meant two or three days, maybe a little longer, probably a tablespoon of coffee, no pepper and a box of teabags only had one teabag and one usable. Other than those issues, we would stay there and recommend it to our friends

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed here several times in 2 different units - each stay was terrific and we have already booked for next year. So glad we discovered this magical placeThe only shadow was that for 2 weeks of out last stay, the pool was being resurfaced - understandable yearly maintenance and we were told ahead of time by Knutson but our dates were immutable because of other premade plans. I suggest that a useful remedy would be to have some sort of temporary access to another facility and provide the same at KKSR when the other facility is having maintenance

It is quieter than other units in SRC because there is very little foot traffic at the end of the sea wall. It is nicely renovated, has lovely furniture and is beautifully decorated.

Amazing Stay

We really had a great time. Beautiful views, sunset right from the lanai. It was stormy so it was cool to watch the waves crash on the rocks all down the coast. Some cute geckos and beautiful birds. Tucked in the back corner away from everyone. Pool was excellent and heated so not freezing cold. Beds were comfy including pillows. Communication was excellent. Shopping center up the road also has several restaurants, a grocery store, and a Longs Drugs. We would stay here again.

Listen to the ocean

We have stayed many times at the Surf and Racquet Club but never before in this unit. This condo is spotless, fully equipped, and just steps from the water. We'll be happy to stay here again.

The condo complex was also clean, and beautifully landscaped. Rental info was plentiful and very clear. The unit could use better cookware and the lighting at night could easily be improved with some brighter warm daylight bulbs. Pictures online should be updated to reflect the current furnishings. Absolutely would stay again. Lovely place and location.

We loved that there were tons of beach supplies - cooler, boogie boards, beach mats, beach chairs/umbrellas. Plus plenty of towels (bath and beach/pool), games for our kiddos to play and so much more...oh and of course the AMAZING ocean views with tranquil privacy. Knutson was also extremely responsive on the couple items we needed help with (even servicing one of the A/C units in just a couple hours after raising a concern). We're excited to come back again soon!

Beautiful condo in amazing location!

We have been to Kona many times but this was our favorite location. The condo was definitely spacious enough for our family and the end building felt private. We would highly recommend.

Wonderful Unit

Loved this condo! The beds were comfy, the kitchen was well stocked. The view was unreal. The kids LOVED the pool, the property is beautiful and clean! This is my second time staying at this complex and I’ve loved it both times. I’m Accessibility - the unit is far from the parking spot, so if you have difficulty walking, this might not be the unit for you. All of Bldg 5 is far from parking. The showers were walk in with a small step.

Amazing Condo Great Property

This stay was fantastic. It was my first time, as well as two of the other 4 woman that joined me. The patio was the highlight. Being able to go out on patio in the AM, meditate and have my coffee. Was so peaceful. It was close to everything. The AC is definitely worth the extra money. Works very well. Beds were comfortable and had lits of linens. Will coen again

Nice stay, great view

Everything was great except for some things. There were these tiny ants mostly in the kitchen, we just ziplocked our food. and the tv in bedroom didn’t work, we weren’t there to watch tv anyway.

Best View and Sunsets!

What is not to Love about an Ocean view and waves crashing as you sit on the Lanai. Condo was well equipped in the kitchen and the place has plenty of linens, including plenty of beach towels for everyone. They had beach umbrellas, beach mats and a boogie board. We left another boogie board we purchased behind so now there are 2! They even had a cooler to use when going to the beach. We Love Kona and go quite a bit. This place was a great choice!

Reviewer Comments: Went back and forth a lot on what location (Kona vs Waikoloa) and amenities (pool, ocean view, number of rooms, etc) were most important to us. The Waikoloa area is closer to the white sand beaches, but most places are on golf courses. Decided ocean view and pool were most important and we made the right choice. Having the ocean right off the patio really made the trip. The drive North wasn't bad, and there are also 2 walkable beaches and a pool for before/after the drive. Great rocky beach for exploring tide pools is adjacent to the property, and Kahalu’u Beach Park is also quite close. Also close to Keauhou Bay for boat/snorkel trips. Check in was easy. Place was clean. Even had unexpected items like beach chairs/umbrellas and snorkel gear - although it would have been nice if that stuff had been advertised ahead of time, and the chairs could really use an upgrade. I'd recommend splurging for the a/c.

Great location!! Beautiful grounds

The condo had everything you could ask for. Beach towels, chairs, mats snorkel stuff. The beds are comfortable. The kitchen well stocked With dishes and appliances.. the patio/lanai was our favorite. The view is spectacular. Drank our coffee there every morning. Condo is close To a Grocery store and many restaurants. I would recommend this condo!!
