Great location. Can’t beat the view from the lanai or the lanai itself. Would stay there again whenever we get back to Kona.

By far our favorite property! Location was amazing! Loved the private walkway to the unit and the wrap around lanai. I could have spent the whole vacation sitting outside. We did have issues with the air conditioner not working, but with the breeze, we didn't need it. You do need to be aware there is a walk uphill and downhill to get to/from the parking lot and 3 flights of stairs only to get to the unit. We loved the privacy of that walk, but hard if not expecting it.

The main bedroom was the only bedroom that stayed cool the entire trip from the air conditioning, but the view is magical. The place was magical. We loved everything about it. It was just very hot and muggy in the living room. kids under 14 cannot get in the hot tub, and if they even stand next to it, people yell at the kids that was frustrating you’re not allowed to splash in the pool or play Marco Polo so no fun games with your kids but the room we would stay there again it was beautiful. Stayed during hurricane Lala and felt very safe top floor

We’re sorry the living room became warm and muggy during your stay. Hawaiʻi’s heat and humidity can definitely be noticeable, particularly during storm conditions, and we’re glad the main bedroom AC kept that space consistently cool. We also completely understand your frustration regarding the pool and hot tub rules. Those rules are established and enforced by the condominium association rather than by our management team, so unfortunately they are outside of our control. We know it can be disappointing for families when the community has stricter rules surrounding pool activities. Most importantly, we’re thrilled to hear that you found the property magical and beautiful and that you would stay with us again. We would absolutely love to welcome you and your family back on a future trip to Kona! Mahalo again for staying with us!

The unit was clean and adequately supplied with needed amenities. The only thing lacking was an adequate amount of beach needed equipment. Almost every unit I’ve rented from in the past in Kona Makai had a working Tommy Bahama umbrella and 2 Tommy Bahama beach chairs plus a small cooler. The Tommy Bahama umbrella in the unit was broken, there were 2 large picnic chairs, not beach chairs and there was no cooler. After calling the rental company, they did bring over 2 inexpensive beach chairs and a cooler to their credit - much appreciation. Other than the lack of beach items, the unit was great!

The location really can't be beat.We've stayed in a lot of rentals, and this was the cleanest we've ever experienced. The cleaning crew is clearly top notch. Very impressed.The environment around the unit is very quite and relaxing. Exactly what we were looking for.The only minor critique would be that it can get pretty warm during the day. The only air conditioners are in the bedrooms and they just aren't powerful enough to keep up with the entire space. You get used to it, and it cools down at night. But it can get pretty warm in the main living area during the day.

Great Location and Views, Family Friendly

This property was perfect for our family of four! The large wrap around lanai had the best views, and the pool area was great for our older kids. The location was very convenient to stores and there are lots of great beaches nearby.

Best panoramic view in the complex!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It just doesn't get any better than this for oceanfront ..literally on top of it! Accurate description of convenient location to everything and pool, grounds/gardens are meticulously kept up. You likely won't find any other oceanfront complex with this much beautiful green space. Constant ocean breeze blowing through the unit making it comfortable even on the hottest days. Also constant surf noise which can be very loud at times so bring ear plugs if you need quiet for sleep in the master bedroom. We loved it. Well stocked kitchen, towels and linens. The reservation process and followup was excellent. Property manager was very responsive with any issues. We are returning for a third time next year and would highly recommend without hesitation!

Expectations surpassed!

Everything about this unit was absolutely wonderful. The property was lovely, the location was great, the management was easy to work with. And the unit itself was exceptionally clean and functional, not to mention the incredible view. We would highly recemmend this unit to anyone considering a visit to Kona.

Paradise

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful complex! This unit truly is the best. The view is stunning and we spent the majority of the time on the lanai. The complex is very conveniently located and secure/safe. There were plenty of beach items available for use including beach towels.

Beautiful Location and View

Wow is the only way describe this property. Every morning we had our breakfast and every night we had our dinner on the lanai. Everyone should treat themselves a stay at this property. We will come back again! Perfect for our family of four, memories to last a lifetime!
