Sugar Dunes in Cottages at Romar is your home away from home in Orange Beach, AL! Located in a charming gated community right on the Gulf, this quaint coastal cottage leaves nothing to be desired. Detailed with stunning decor and comfortable amenities our cottage is perfect for a family vacation or a couples beach getaway.

This 2 story home features 2 bedrooms upstairs, 2.5 baths, a loft with bunks, and a sleeper sofa that will accommodate 8 people. The open concept kitchen is fully equipped, with upgraded appliances, and bar seating for four. The dining table seats 6 and the living room seats 7 comfortably. The main floor and upper level feature a walkout deck with patio furniture. The cottage also features an outdoor shower.

Located in a small neighborhood just steps from the beautiful zero entry saltwater lagoon pool and boardwalk to Alabama's sugar sand beach. You can also enjoy a fire pit on those chilly nights.

We loved this home! First time staying here, and the neighborhood is perfect for little kids. A short walk to the beach and a great pool for little ones. 10/10 recommend and will be staying again in the future!

Beautiful place that gave our family a relaxing and fun vacation by the beach. Family friendly with a great pool area and a short walk to the beach.

Beautiful beach house in an excellent location! It was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. Cindy was a great host- friendly, responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. Our family had a wonderful vacation and would definitely rent it again!

This house was very nice. Great location to access everything. Beds very comfortable. There was some confusion with listing as one area says beachfront. It is not. There is also no bedrooms downstairs. My mother in law struggled with the stairs. We had a small issue with the exhaust fan in bathroom which they fixed immediately. It does need better selection of pots and pans so may bring a couple of your favorites from home depending on meal plans. Overall 4 out of 5 for us.

We had such a nice stay and this house was the perfect beach house! Nice close access to the beach. Decorated very nice, very clean, and exactly what we were looking for in our Spring break vacation. Hostess was very helpful and quick to reply! Loved everything about this house! Really recommend!

We definitely enjoyed our stay, it was the perfect time of year to visit being from MN it was like extending summer for 1 more week. The beach was amazing best beach we have ever been to!!! Salute to the cottages at Romar!

Great Place to Stay

Our 2nd year to stay at Sugar Dunes. We love it! We may try for a 3-peat next summer. Easy check in and check out process, beach area not over crowded and location is great.

Had a wonderful time. We normally stay in a condo but decided to try a house instead. Pool was great and the access to the beach was so convenient. Would definitely come back.

Family beach trip

The cottage was clean, cute, comfortable, had great air conditioning, terrific location, and the owners were wonderful. It was a perfect place for our family of 5 adults to stay. We will stay there again!

A must stay!

This cottage did not disappoint. The location, cleanliness, and ease of checkin and check out made our vacation enjoyable. The owners were super helpful. I would definitely recommend this property.

Incredible location!

We loved staying here & have already booked for next year. Perfect location - easy pool & beach access. We enjoyed walking the neighborhood in the evening - felt safe with the gate and how well lit it was. Cindy was great!
