Great Pacific Beach neighborhood

The unit was very clean. It was well-equipped for our needs. The listing is accurately represented. It is on a busy road, but the bedrooms are in the back, so it’s quiet for sleeping. Note: there is no place to sit outside. FYI- Apparently, we parked too far to the left, resulting in a call from VRBO threatening to cancel our booking. We subsequently saw that the host had messaged us on the app in regard to a fire lane, which is not marked. Also, larger vehicles will not fit in the space allotted, but there was street parking open in front of the property during our visit.A charming property; would stay here again.

Sand Dollar Villa was amazing!

We really enjoyed our stay in San Diego and having this quaint & cozy place to ourselves was perfect! It was great for a family of 4 (with 2 almost teenagers), and walkable to several restaurants and a grocery store. A walk to the beach would be a little far if you're carrying everything with you, but doable. There are several beaches, 5-15min away by drive. Sea World is just 10min away and several other places we visited were all close by! We also had our own private parking spot in the driveway. We needed assistance a couple of times during our stay, and they responded right away! The beds were very comfy and having their beach towels & beach chairs available was so convenient. The house was very clean! We would definitely stay here again if we get back to San Diego!

Short weekend in San Diego

We had a family meetup for an event at MCRD. The house was perfect for us. Easy Uber access and the walk to all things needed was super easy. We would stay again

Family fall break

Stayed for a week. The house is clean, recently updated. Near lots of things in pacific beach and made for easy trips to all the things we did.

Great location!

The San Dollar Villa was a perfect place for us to stay and visit our two sons! The location was great and walking distance to restaurants, shops, etc. It was very clean and had all the amenities we needed including beach chairs, which was nice! We would definitely stay there again and highly recommend it to anyone staying in Pacific Beach!

A Nice Place to Unwind

A very cute, clean, cozy, one floor bright and airy single home. Quiet, peaceful, and comfortable. Easy access to local stores. Walking distance to local retail stores. A few steps to public transportation. Overall, it’s private and very safe staying there. No loud noise, no barking dogs, no nonsense. Go there. You will enjoy your stay!

L'endroit était impeccable et nous convenait parfaitement. L'hôte offre des chaises de plages qui nous ont été fort utiles car tellement de plages accessibles à moins de 15 minutes. Plusieurs restaurants et commodités accessibles à pieds de la location. Super!

Had a great stay here - the place had everything you could think of (even for travelling with kids) and is immaculate. Great location- close driving range to the beach in PB/Mission bay or La Jolla, where we spent most of our time

Family Visit, Father and two sons

We try to get together at least once per year. Nocal and Socal. We saw a ball game and played some golf. The PC area is clearly a destination with lots of eateries. Good walking. Terrible traffic and parking is a premium but part of the Vbro unit. Busy street but clearly adequate for our stay.

Great location- very clean and practical

My friend and I are very much enjoyed our stay. The host were very accommodating with providing kitchen supplies, as well as a coffee and tea station. The decor was really cute, and the location is unbeatable. The only suggestions I would give to the host would be to update the description of the rental to describe that the air conditioning is only in the main living area and is a window unit. The bedrooms were a little warm throughout the day and night. We had thought that there was air-conditioning throughout the entire rental upon booking, based on the description. Additionally, we were unable to Chromecast from our devices to the TV, which was unfortunate because we wanted to watch Netflix, but it wasn’t something that was offered on the TV. We tried to get it to work for about 30 minutes and tried to download the app, but it wasn’t working. I highly recommend that the hosts allow guests to sign into their Netflix accounts seeing as how many people watch Netflix. The chili Ty to Chromecast is also useful to allow renters to be able to show videos or photos on the Text you back in a bit. screen From their phones or devices. Overall, it was a good experience.

Nice beach home

This place is perfect if you plan to spend all day out and about at the beach or in the Pacific Beach area. Great location, cozy space. Communication from prooperty managers was excellent, they were nice and accommodating.

San Diego Stay in January

The house and stay were wonderful. The host was accessible and very helpful. Parking was available but the home is on a main road, so it was a little daunting. The pictures do no justice to the property and the roominess of the facility.

Very clean and updated property! Location was within 10-15 minutes of everything we did in San Diego. Property is off a Main Street so noisy at times.

Very clean, central location

The unit met our needs and was in a very convenient location. Communication with the host was excellent. It’s on a very busy road, so a lot of traffic noise when the windows are open, but we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend to others.

Clean,

My family enjoyed our recent stay at Sand Dollar Villa. I initially was looking at hotel suites for our family of four’s visit to San Diego. This was comparable in price and so much better than a hotel. It clearly has been recently renovated, was very clean (I am super picky) and well stocked. The towels were great (again, I am picky). A Trader Joe’s was nearby. (I have food allergies so I need to cook or make meals for myself.) The location is very convenient, with easy access to local attractions. This was another reason I chose Sand Dollar Villa, almost everything we wanted to visit was 15 minutes or less away. Communication with the hosts was excellent. They were responsive, friendly, and provided clear instructions. I definitely recommend Sand Dollar Villa!

Family Visit

The VRBO was as cute and clean as advertised. The owner was quick to respond to an issue we had. We were in San Diego to see family and could prepare a couple of meals in the fully stocked kitchen. We felt safe in the neighborhood The only negative was the busy 4 lane street in front. However, it tells you that in the information and we knew it was a busy street. I would highly recommend Sand Dollar Villa and would stay there again.

The home is very close to all local restaurants. You can ride bikes to the bay or to the ocean just minutes away. We enjoy the beautiful sunsets in Pacific Beach. We also enjoy roller skating, rollerblading, or taking a walk on the sand.
There is nothing like the energy you feel in Pacific Beach.

Founded in 1887 Pacific Beach is part of the historic San Diego, The San Diego College of Letters opened in 1888 on Garnet Avenue. Many of the local hotels were built in the 1950s, and our home was also built during this time. We have updated our home to give the Mid-Century Modern feel with modern conveniences.
