Great stay!

The location of the cottage was great! Walking distance to everything in ocean beach! Rodney was an amazing host as well! We really enjoyed our stay. Only downside was the cottage got cold at night as there are no heat vents in the rooms.

Beautiful!

What a beautiful and peaceful property! The landscaping is amazing and the neighborhood is quiet. Close to the beach and within walking distance of numerous coffee stands. We highly recommend this stay and will definitely book again in the future!

Ocean Beach Stay

The neighborhood this rental is in is one of the cutest, pedestrian friendly and nicest neighborhoods I have ever stayed in. Rodney gave us tons of recommendations on local places. Ocean beach is a nice chill beach frequented by locals. The rental is cute and clean. On street parking. No AC which is the norm in San Diego. Several fans provided for comfort. Comfortable tempurpedic beds.

Fabulous stay!

My 2 kids (6 & 11) stayed at this lovely cottage for 5 nights and it was absolutely perfect. The vottage is perfectly located in OB, away from the bustle of the main drag, but walking distance to the cliffs and some good food. It served as our home base while we explored San Diego. The cottage itself was clean, comfortable, and the garden was a lovely place to spend time drinking coffee and reading. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

A garden cottage

This beautiful little cottage is at retreat for anyone who wants to stay in Ocean Beach Randy the host answered all of our questions and then some with such courtesy and such efficiency. We will definitely be back.

Beach house perfection

The house is perfectly located and just walking distance to town. Perfectly decorated and spotless. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. The garden is spectacular and a wonderful place to gather. The host was responsive and gave great recommendations for local food and activities. We loved our stay at this special and happy little beach house and will return.

Cute bungalow, amazing location!

This bungalow is adorable and in a cute neighborhood. The weather was amazing and we we're able to walk to the beaches and downtown area of ocean beach. Easy to also drive to downtown SD. It was a quick trip, but definitely would book again :)

Spring Break

We had a wonderful time staying at the Sunset Cottage. The location is perfect, it is walking distance to everything in Ocean Beach. The neighborhood is friendly, and very low key. The home has been laid out very well and is very comfortable. The home had everything we needed for the week. Rodney was very easy to communicate with and stopped by a couple of times to remedy very minor issues. The only thing that surprised us about this property was the airport noise; the home is in the flight pattern for flights taking off. However, my kids loved watching the planes taking off on the beach.

Point Loma cottage

Very clean and decorated with great beachy colors. Great sunset views and a short walk to the ocean and the Ocean Beach neighborhood with lots of restaurants and shopping. Really enjoyed our visit

Great OB location

comfortable accommodations and a great location for a family Christmas trip. There was an issue with the thermostat one day (Christmas!) and it was corrected very quickly.

Great family getaway!

We had a great time in San Diego, and the Sunset Cottage was a perfect accommodation for our family! Located in a safe, central neighbourhood, with lots of great restaurant/cafe options nearby. Rodney was a great host, very responsive to texts, provided us with excellent recommendations for restaurants and local activities.

Bungalow by the sea

Adorable, well-positioned, well-decorated little house. Outstanding gardens and porch for morning coffee or evening relaxation. Host remarkably communicative. Beds comfortable. Very small bathroom, like most bungalows, but all in working order. Appliances new. All we needed was provided. Was not ready to leave.

House and garden designed with a lot of love - I can highly recommend!

My mom and I enjoyed the vacation rental. The cottage is very stylish and very welcoming. The decoration is lovingly selected and every detail fits together perfectly! There was plenty of space to feel at home and you can hardly beat the location. We were close to everything we planned to do on our vacation. We were minutes away from the beach, Sea World, San Diego Zoo, and great restaurants. There is also a lot of food within walking distance. The Owner was responsive and totally professional. We had a wonderful stay!

Sweet Sunset Cottage

Great location near everything we'd planned and with easy access to downtown San Diego, and a short walk to Sunset Cliffs, the pier, and the Ocean Beach Wednesday farmers market. Be sure to check out the Olive Tree Market and Stella Jean for amazing ice cream. The cottage is comfortable, well cared for, and nicely decorated; the kitchen is small but very well equipped. The garden is amazing and the neighborhood is quiet. Thanks, Rodney for a lovely getaway!

The Sunset Cottage sits in the San Diego residential neighborhood of Ocean Beach (OB) - between Sunset Cliffs and the OB business district. The cottage is close enough to stay connected to the local scene (walk to the public beach, restaurants, dining and shopping) but far enough away to enjoy quite relaxation, sounds of splashing waves, and the ease of on-street parking - often right in front of the cottage.

The Sunset Cottage is two blocks from the coastline and secluded beaches, and is a short 10-15 min stroll to shops, restaurants, entertainment, and the public beach - offering lifeguard-supervised swimming and surfing areas, restrooms, and showers.

The Sunset Cottage is centrally located and a short 5-15 min drive to most area Universities, Sea World, Lego Land, Animal Safari Park, Downtown/Convention Center, and Balboa Park - the nation's largest urban cultural park. Balboa Park is home to 15 major museums, renowned performing arts venues, beautiful gardens and the world famous San Diego Zoo. The Park has an ever-changing calendar of museum exhibitions, plays, musicals, concerts, and classes—all in the beautiful and timeless setting.
