Very cool little place on the side of the mountain. We enjoyed our stay here very much. House was well stock with almost everything you would need. Check in and out was simple and quick. Will be back!

Great for a weekend getaway. Not for older people with walking or climbing disability.Would be great cooler weather place to stay.

This is a very peaceful place to sit amongst nature. You are around 30 minutes from anything, half of that on a back road with gorgeous views. With no restroom on the upper main level of the house, being able to navigate the spiral stairs is a must. If you struggle backing up a car or truck on a hill, this could be an issue. The furniture and beds are comfortable. The dryer sometimes doesn't stop itself. I'd stay here again.

Beautiful home. The staircase is not for the elderly. Well stocked & clean! It took us 10 mins to get from highway to the house due to winding roads. The view is beautiful! The area is Beautiful!!. We spent one day and most evenings at the cabin. We love the Black Hills!

This cabin exceeded every expectation. It was clean, cozy, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The setting was gorgeous — quiet, surrounded by nature, and the perfect home base for exploring South Dakota. Waking up to that view with a cup of coffee on the porch was the highlight of our trip.The host was communicative and welcoming from the moment we booked, and check-in was seamless. The cabin itself had a great balance of rustic charm and modern comfort — comfortable beds, a well-equipped kitchen, and a cozy living area that made evenings just as enjoyable as our days out exploring.We’d absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, beautiful home base in South Dakota. Thank you for sharing such a special place!

This cabin was perfect, the location for doing everything in the Black Hills is perfect, the views spectacular, you wake up to peace and quiet (with the exception of a turkey we made friends with and talked to us every morning), they have thought of everything to make your stay amazing.Get up early and watch the most beautiful sunrises, sit on the deck and grill your dinner.I would not only recommend this cabin but would love to return!

A little difficult to get suitcases into bedroom. Have to go down spiral staircase to get to bedrooms from front door or park in driveway and carry suitcases up stairs to bedroom. Very nice and clean house.

This property had everything you could think of. It was a home away from home!!The kitchen had all kids seasoning we could use while cooking. Everything thing in the property was perfect for our stay. The kids enjoyed the games and we enjoyed the view including the beautiful sunrises. We loved being able to go sightseeing and return there for a comfy night.

Great stay

Loved the property. It was such a wonderful property tucked away in the tree tops. Enjoyed mornings and evenings on the deck befor and after a hard day of sight seeing and typical tourist activities.

Hideaway

Stayed at the property for about a week with family. Nice location & enjoyed the decks. Overall space was a bit tighter than expected & neighbors closer than expected. Great amenities in the kitchen, very well stocked!

The cabin was great. We loved that is was away from all the hustle bustle. Enjoyed eenong on the deck! Would definitely stay there again.

Family of 5 getaway

Enjoyed our stay. Loved the location and cabin. Will call out that the 3rd bedroom is not connect to the upper level (you have to go outside to reach it) which is fine but our kids were too nervous to stay in there alone. Just a heads up!

GREAT VACATION

We had an absolutely wonderful time, cabin was welcoming, comfortable and great views, would absolutely book this cabin again. After a week the spiral staircase were a little difficult for us old folks...haha Best vacation in years!

Great Family Vacation

We loved having a quiet, comfortable, relaxing place to return to at the end of a busy day. Very clean and really well stocked with bedding, towels, kitchen supplies, games, etc. The whole family loved sitting on the deck in the morning and the end of the day.

Mountain top solitude

We had a nice time staying on Edelweiss. It's about a 1 hour drive to Custer State Park, wind cave, and crazy horse.
