This home is close to all attractions, including Lake Pactola and Sheridan Lake. Swiss Drive is a cozy three-bedroom cabin nestled in the center of the Black Hills National Forest. The home is surrounded by ponderosa pine trees, and deer and turkey are common sights. The main level has two bedrooms, one with a king bed and the other with a queen bed. There is one full bath. The living room has a hide-a-bed sofa. There is an air conditioner in the living room. The lower level has one room with a king-size bed and a queen bed) and a bathroom with a shower. The lower level is also where you will find the washer and dryer. The home has a deck with great seating, a fire pit, and a propane grill. You will drive three miles over gravel to reach this development . There is also room for a 12-foot trailer. The driveway accommodates three vehicles. You will go directly to the home for self check-in. This home does have starlink internetFi. . This area only has one cell service provider, which is Verizon.

The cabin was clean. It would have been nice to have the rooms aired out before we got there. The bedding was clean, but there was a slight musty smell to it and the towels. Furniture was comfortable enough and bathrooms were clean.

When we have guests in and out same day it is hard to get the home aired out but I understand what you are saying not sure about the towels as they are laundered before guests come in we don't use dirty towels. Thank you

Property was clean, well kept and roomy. Only problems were we didn't realize 3rd bedroom was in the basement (probably our fault for not looking close enough) and the unit is a long way from anything, so plan on leaving in morning and not coming back until your days activities are done. We were concerned about gravel road but it was no problem, just a bit slow travel.

It is as advertised...great location and the locals are very nice and the best part of our stay were the Neighborhood dogs that would check in on us occasionally....very friendly

The cabin met all our needs. The air conditioning was a small issue in that only the living room was cool. We made due with fans. The kitchen was well stocked with the items we needed. The beds were very comfortable. All in all, a very good experience!

Good location

Great for all the attractions that we wanted to see. Host was very pleasant to work with. We had great weather and a nice friendly dog came to visit on the deck.

Lovely remote cabin

Cabin was located in a remote location that was convenient to Mt Rushmore and many other attractions. Cabin was clean and came with ample supplies.

Great space for family time

We loved staying at the cabin. It was a very remote area which we loved after spending the day touring sites. We enjoyed grilling and relaxing on the deck after a busy day. My daughter enjoyed hiking around the cabin in the morning and two lakes are located near the cabin as well which was amazing for picnics!

Fishing Trip

We fished early every morning and spent the afternoons relaxing on the porch and grilling, the cabin was a perfect cozy getaway. Thanks for the hospitality!

Cozy Cabin

If you're looking for a cozy cabin in the woods, this is perfect. We did make a point to arrive back to the cabin each day before dark because it's not easy to get to.

Home Away from Home

My family and I loved staying in this cozy, peaceful cabin on Swiss Drive! The location is perfect and near so many amazing attractions. It is right in the heart of the Black Hills forest. The house is spacious, clean, and has everythjng you need to spend much of your time there. We loved sitting out on the porch for our meals as well as enjoying the beautiful sunrise. The host was so friendly, hospitable, and communicated efficiently. We would recommend and return to tbis location if in the area again!

So didn’t stay in this particular house but wanted to share my experience, we got to this cabin (which is still amazing btw) but discovered it didn’t have WiFi which for most is great but we have two small children so that was nerve racking, called Julie and she was so understanding and moved us to a different location which was also incredible and she did that at no extra charge, just out of kindness. I HIGHLY suggest staying in any of the houses Julie manages and we will def be staying with her again in the future.

The property was beautiful. A bit farther up a dirt road than I would have liked but once you were there it was incredible. The beds were a bit hard for my liking but I believe can easily be resolved with a mattress topper. Place was clean and they provided the essentials for our needs while there. Sadly our trip was cut short because our dog passed away and we had to rush home. If you want a peaceful location away from it all, you can't go wrong with this property.

Motorcycle riders this home has 3 miles of gravel to the home.
