Enjoy wifi, board games or just a quiet night on the deck. Parking in the front of the property as well as additional parking in the back.

Work station in bedroom 1 with desk & pull out sofa. You will have 2 flat screen TVs. First floor has 2 bedrooms,1 full bath, kitchen&livingroom.

LOWER LEVEL has the 3rd bedroom, 2nd bath and washer/dryer access. Upon inquiring or booking please state where the 3rd bedroom is.

We welcomed our first guest June 17th, 2021. We are family focused and hope you feel at home when you book with us.

Please be sure to check out our Facebook page Anchors Away2. We try to update the page with area attractions and events as well as small businesses. Look for the orange chairs in the profile picture. This home was perfect for what we needed with two bathrooms and the three bedrooms. Loved having the grill and the laundry facilities.

Great location close to Both the Creation Museum and the ark. The host was wonderful with communication about the check-in process and asking if we needed anything.

Debbie, Thank you for your review. There should have been a new hair dryer in the first floor bathroom. We just replaced it in July. I will check to see if it is not there and replace if necessary. NKY has had double the rain this season and mowing has been challenging due to it not being dry enough at times. It was mowed Saturday evening thankfully. Hopefully you had an enjoyable stay and are welcome back any time. Thank you The Kinleys

This place was perfect for our plans. It sits in a quiet neighborhood. It had a lot of little touches I loved -like the racks for all my stuff in the lower bathroom. The deck was nice to sit on in the evening. All products were fully stocked including kleenex which most places don't provide. The one negative is the requirement for damage insurance via purchase of insurance or a credit card charge which they refund. We opted for the insurance so it was an additional 90.

Property was clean. Communication with the owner was good. The unit itself had some issues with the HVAC in that it could not keep up with the high temperatures. I notified the owner informing. They were willing to have it addressed. The front exterior could have been a bit more presentable as it looked junked up with an outdoor grill and other items immediately outside the front door. Otherwise I would recommend the location for a clean effortless stay.

Thank you for sharing your experience at Anchors Away 2 We are glad you found the unit clean and communication effortless, and we truly appreciate your valuable feedback.We are so sorry for the discomfort caused by the extreme heat during your stay. When temperatures rose into the 90s with intense humidity, our HVAC technician confirmed that the system was running at maximum capacity; unfortunately, a standard unit cannot maintain a 20-degree drop from outdoor extremes without risk of freezing over. Regarding the front entrance, local fire code strictly prohibits placing the outdoor grill on the rear wooden deck or underneath it for safety reasons. We keep the grill, metal table, and wicker storage container on the front pavers to ensure a code-compliant, safe amenity space for our guests.Thank you again for helping us maintain a safe and comfortable stay, and we hope to welcome you back for a seamless visit in the future!

Great stay

Clean, well furnished, roomy, comfortable, and safe for my family. We visited the Ark Encounter during our stay and was a short 14 minute drive to the ark. We enjoyed our stay, thank you.

Cozy house good size for family of 6

We only stayed a couple of nights, but this is a good sized house that comfortably fit our family of 6. Great location, close to both the Ark Encounter and the Creation Museum!

Great hosts!

Our reason for the rental was to visit the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum which was very convenient from this property. Goats were super helpful with recommending local restaurant and vendors. Highly recommend!

Excellent place to stay

Anchors Away was a very nice little townhouse. It was perfect for my family vacation. There was plenty of space. The location was centrally located to the things we wished to do. Would recommend this to anyone wishing to visit the area.

Nice place!

Property was easy to find and accommodated our large group ( 6 adults and a 2 yr old ) perfect. Close to the Ark and creation museum. Hosts had microwave popcorn and even a 2 yr old friendly toy for our granddaughter to play with during our stay. Would stay again!

Crittenden Townhouse stay

Overall clean and comfortable. Is a townhome not a single family house. Neighbors and Neighborhood quiet, pretty area.
