Great property with awesome amenities. Enjoyed our stay and wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy all amenities the property had to offer. Checking in was easy and all important information was conveyed in advance. Property was clean. Would stay again.

Overall, unimpressed. For the price, I would not stay here again. Upon entering the house we were greeted with an overwhelming smell of musty, mildew dampness. The towels smelled horribly of this and even though we washed them the smell was still there. The front load washing machine had black mildew/mold in it. The sliding door that separated the a bathroom and bedroom constantly fell off the track making it useless. The faucet in the tub was not well secured so you had to be careful when pulling the trigger for the shower. We had issues with the remotes for two of the bedroom ceiling fan/light-either the batteries were low or the sensors were off but had push the buttons numerous times to get it to work. Same problem with the TV in the living room. The pictures make it look nicer than what we experienced. The remodel seemed cheaply done. On the positive side, it was spacious enough for our party of 6 and one dog. The basic necessities for bathrooms, kitchen and bedrooms were there. The hot tub was enjoyed. Did not use the game room but it too smelled awful.

I had trouble with the keypad, but my host was very kind and helpful, and got us inside. The whole place feels cozy, and easy to relax in. Outdoor spaces are lovely, and the theatre is pretty neat!

Fantastic stay

Our stay was amazing! The house was really nice and everything was easy to get too and all the toiletries and linens were accessible on the property! The property manager was easy to get a hold of for any and all our questions and was super nice! 10/10 would stay here again

Firefly Cottage

We loved our stay at the Firefly Cottage! It is beautifully redone and was perfect for a wedding weekend getaway spot with friends.

Host was helpful in getting in house. There was a hole in basement floor and basement door would not shut all the way which is not real secure .It was very cold and drafty in base bedroom/ karaoke room.Loose rocks on the outdoor fire place that is a safety issue. I feel like it was ok. We enjoyed our time as a family. Just feel like it’s not worth almost 400a night total.

Great location

The location was perfect for our trip to The Biltmore and to explore Asheville. The home was exactly as expected from photos and had plenty of space for our family of 4 plus our dog. Very comfortable living space and beds and well equipped kitchen.

Great house!! We had a hard time the last night because the heat for the house was not running well. I love how easy it was to get places from the house and the ease of texting the hosts was fantastic for the one question that I did ask. Thank you!!

Perfect Weekend Away

We booked this property last minute for a weekend trip. It was very easy to book and check in. The house had everything we needed. It was very comfortable to hang out at and also close enough to Asheville to get out and explore. We all especially loved how comfortable the beds were! I would definitely stay here again!

Great house for the family!

This is a great house for a long weekend in Asheville. The home was clean, comfortable and in the perfect location to all the Asheville activities. The owner was super responsive and incredibly helpful during our stay. Only thing to note is that the house is on a pretty busy street, not an issue but just something to keep in mind if you have kids and/or pets with you. Overall, we had an excellent time and would stay here again!

Birthday

Our family visited Asheville to celebrate a birthday. This home was exactly as described. It was roomy enough for all of us. The home was clean and comfortable. The kids loved the game room, theater room, and downstairs area. Information from the host was great! We had all of the info we needed for an easy stay from check in to check out!

Check-in was easy, and the host was mostly very quick and communicative. Property was as described, but the hot tub was unsanitized and unusable upon arrival. The host did respond within a couple hours and got that fixed, however.

Cozy family stay for wedding

We stayed in the house as a family for my son's wedding. The house was very cozy and we loved the set up.We had from age 4 to 75. It was so nice and easier to have all under 1 roof than spread out to several hotel rooms. We love the entertaining areas outside for the children to play. We loved the house and all it had to offer for us at all ages. We had a 15 min drive to downtown Ashville. ❤️

Absolutely Perfect!!

My family loved this house so much! It was perfect for my family of six and our goldendoodle. The outside area with hot tub, fireplace, tv and comfy furniture was really fun after a long day. The inside was so pretty. Loved the kitchen and used it a ton! Lots of room to sit and hang out and super comfy beds! Now for the little things that made it special- dog treats on the counter, christmas tree in the den, word search on the wall in the bathroom(so funny!),and the map on the wall that we got to put our pin in! So many great little touches. We would highly recommend!

Not Clean

We had to contact Lisa when we got there because she never sent the check in information to us. We had no door code to get in. When we got ready to go to bed we pulled out the trundle beds downstairs and they were not clean. The sheets and the mattress were both dirty and there were no clean sheets to change them. For the amount we had to pay for one night I would expect a clean bed to sleep in.
