Great condo!!

We loved the condo at Water’s Edge. It was beautifully decorated, clean, and well-appointed. We will definitely plan to stay here again!

Great place to stay. Very clean and close to the pool and besch.

Great for anytime. The Pier is close as well. Beautifully decorated.

Best beach view

We love to go to Holden Beach shelling and just relaxing. Best location to easily access the beach. Condo is comfortable and neat. Kitchen is small but adequate. Everything worked well with no problems. Hope to go back soon!

Weekend getaway

This property was at a great location. The pool Area was a nice amentity. The only issue we had was no privacy between porches. We wanted to sit on the porch one day and the neighboring unit was very extremely close beside us with no privacy.

Perfect spot for this retired couple

A lovely unit, well decorated, conveniently located. King bed is high off the ground, needs a step stool to get in. Mattress on same bed has some type of deep memory foam that makes it hard to move around. New management company is overly strict in their rules; such as do not park on the property early because you will be charged with trespassing. Punitive fees for early check in, and many other “offenses.”

Carrie, thank you for staying with us at Waters Edge. This unit is a great unit and as you said well decorated. Unfortunately, even though we have minimal policies and expectations in place the same as any other property management company, some guests choose to not be respectful of those rules which causes additional work for our employees. With limited parking, we have to insure that our team members have a place to park to get the property ready for each guests checking in. When guests show up early and take the parking spaces, we are unable to get our work completed for check-in.

check in process

Everything about our trip was good except for check in. I did not receive an email with check in procedures and did not realize that until we got in at 12 am on Sunday morning. I incorrectly assumed it would be the same as prior years. I went to the office expectly to pick up keys in an after hours area. No keys. i did call the phone number and the staff texted me the lock box number. I was able to get in that night. I had to text the staff again on Sunday to discover how to access the pool and the beach access. they replied promptly and we had not further issues.

Quick getaway

Great location, beautiful beach. Nice updated kitchen. Bathrooms could use some updating. The couch was very stained and dingy and several lightbulbs needed to be changed. Otherwise a nice place and enjoyable stay.

Great week at the Beach

Have stayed at WatersEdge before it became a ProActive property. It was a good place then and is a GREAT place now. I love all the changes !!! wish there were units with 3 or 4 bedrooms. The only problem with this unit is that the bedroom with the king-sized bed. The bed is too high. I am 5'7" and my husband is 6'1. We both had problems getting into the bed. That's the only problem.

Great place to stay!

This is a beautiful property, comfortable. I have 2 suggestions, Improve the quality of the supplied sheets, and put mirrors in the bedrooms. Otherwise awesome place to stay!

4-day get-away

We enjoyed our stay very much. The view of the ocean was beautiful, and the outdoor covered patio was an ideal place to relax. The condo was cleaned and well-cared for. The two smaller chairs were comfortable but the couch may need to be updated ;)It was a safe, lovely neighborhood.
