A Charming Country Cottage Nestled in the Woods

Conveniently located to Congaree National Park and everything Columbia & Sumter SC has to offer all while nestled in a wooded setting for a peaceful stay.
Newly renovated with lots to offer: comfy beds & linens, fully stocked kitchen, Wi-Fi, keyless entry, fire pit, back-up generator, and 2 large porches. Master bedroom has a queen bed and private full-bath. Two additional bedrooms (1 queen, 1 full) with shared full-bath. Washer, dryer, iron, ironing board and steamer are available. Safety is important: cottage has smoke detectors, night lights and all mattress & pillows are covered with protectors.

Every detail of the stay was taken care of, as far as the house amenities. What a beautiful home and so wonderful for our young family of 6 to live comfortably for a few days. When we come back to the area we would love to rebook this place!

A quaint cottage close to Congaree NP. A quiet place nestled in the woods but close toany amenities without all the sound of traffic. Enjoyed the sounds of nature and appreciated the hosts hospitality and the having access to items that one have forgotten such as toothbrushes, deodorant and other miscellaneous items. Thanks for a great vacation.

Our family of 6 loved this place! We explored Conagree both days here and then spent the rest of the days running around outside on the property. Wonderful place!

Great spot for exploring Congaree—10 minutes to Boardwalk Loop, about 13 minutes to Cedar Creek put-in. Private, well-kept spot. (I heard a neighbor’s donkey but never saw another house.) Very responsive host. Thank you!

Amazing location! The house is very private. We used it as a base camp to explore Congaree National Park and the Columbia area. The host was wonderful, quick to respond to any questions. Easy check in / check out. Would highly recommend this property.

Perfect spring getaway

Secluded Country Cottage

We really enjoyed our stay. We wish we could have spent more time on site enjoying the secluded setting with the flowering plants and singing birds. Would definitely come back if ever in the area again. Close to Congaree NP and nice drive to historic Columbia.

Secluded Getaway

Beautiful location away from the city. Lots of cardinals, squirrels, trees, and stars. Would definitely return and would highly recommend to nature lovers.

Lynn & Debbie are friends as well as sister-in-laws and they put the finishing touches on what John and Rusty build. Both love new adventures and making our guests feel comfortable.

Cedar Creek Cottage is located on family land with a long history.. Nature is waiting for you right outside the door. It is not uncommon to see deer walking through the yard, and an array of birds on the feeders. It is a quick trip to Congaree National Park or Columbia to see all the capital city has to offer then come back and relax on the porch or by the fire pit and look at the stars.

Cedar Creek Cottage is fully stocked with everything you will need to be comfortable. Easy access and ample parking. There is a lot of history on the property and you are free to walk around and explore. We have chickens, goats and a miniature donkey; if you wish to visit with them just let Debbie know. We love our peaceful setting and hope you will as well.
