Pig Kahuna is an adorable, three bedroom/two bath home located between the highways in sought-after Nags Head - just past MilePost 10. This relaxing beach cottage is located on a quiet and spacious corner lot within easy walking distance to the E Albatross Street public beach access. The home is also walkable to nearby amazing local restaurants, shops, art museums and the dog park.

**NEW!** Driving down via EV? Easily charge your car on us! The home offers a 40 amp Level 2 (J1772) car charger in downstairs utility room. (Teslas will require adaptor).

The home comes with free wifi, a well-stocked kitchen with basic cooking essentials, two full bathrooms, three bedrooms (1 king ensuite, 1 queen, and one twin over full). Linens and towels are provided plus a starter kit of goodies to get the vacation off on the right foot. You can sleep in, as all bedrooms come with blackout curtains. Living room includes a smart-TV and DVD player with a large library of movies to choose from! Each bedroom is equipped with a smart-TV and DVD player.

Downstairs includes an outdoor shower, campsite grill, utility room with washer/dryer, beach chairs/cart, cornhole boards as well as a fire pit (firewood not included). The lot is spacious with plenty of green space to run around.

Wanna bring your bikes? Great! Nags Head offers a bike-friendly path along the beach access road. Cruise down quiet S Memorial Ave and end up at the crowd-pleasing Dowdy Park.

No need to leave your furry friend behind, Pig Kahuna is pet friendly – dogs only.

Great Location / Cute House

The house "Pig Laguna" was perfect for our small group and our small pup. It is an easy walk to the beach and great restaurants within walking/biking distance. I would definitely stay here again!

Another wonderful stay!

We love Pig Kahuna! It is cozy, comfy, and the perfect distance from the beach. Our dogs also feel at home here! Kara and Patrick are very easy to work with and very responsive. We definitely hope to come back in 2025!

Great location!

We loved the location of Pig Kahuna. Close walk to the beach and some great restaurants. House had everything we needed in it and was very clean and comfortable. Would absolutely stay here again.

Great rental!

The house was perfect - the neighborhood was quiet we could hear the ocean at night which was very relaxing. It was only 2 short blocks to the beach, near restaurants and attractions. Perfect for our family! We would definitely stay here again!

This cute house was just as described. Kara was quick to respond when a question came up. Distance to beach access was great and lots of great restaurants nearby.

Great home!

Perfect home for our quick getaway! Great location. Home was very clean. Kids loved the cornhole boards that were provided. Porch swing and hammock were appreciated by the adults! Would stay here again!

Great Place to Stay!

Nice, clean beach house on quiet street with well stocked kitchen. We appreciated the ability to bring our dog with us, and there were plenty of attractions nearby. Thank you for sharing your beach house with us!

Great place!

We had a great time at Pig Kahuna. The walk to the beach is very short and the house was comfortable for our family of 5. The wagon and beach toys were much appreciated for our kids.

Pig Kahuna was AMAZING

We had the best time staying at Pig Kahuna. The property was adorable, well kept, close to the beach, and close to other amenities in Nags Head. The owners were extremely helpful throughout our stay. We had a lovely time and will rent again in the future.

Another wonderful stay!

This was our 5th time staying at Pig Kahuna, and we had a wonderful time! October is such a beautiful time of year to be in Nags Head, and we were so happy to get away for a long weekend. We also love how pet friendly the house is. We will be back!

Excellent location and cute home

Great house with a great location. Not a far drive to get to a public beach access area and close to stores and restaurants. Great area to walk with nice neighbors. Perfect house for 5-6 people.

Beautiful, comfortable beach stay!

Perfect long weekend getaway

We were in town for a family wedding and couldn't have been happier with our accommodations. The location was very quiet. I really enjoyed having access to beach chairs and other items. It was a short walk to the beach access. All in all, when we want to get away again to OBX, we hope this house is available.

Perfect location and perfect timing.

The location was excellent. Hosts and neighbor were fantastic. We enjoyed our time in Nags Head and surrounding communities, north and south. This was a fantastic getaway for the both of us. Recommend booking here. Thank you.

We loved Pig Kahuna sow much!

We stayed at Pig Kahuna as a mother/daughter trip with friends and it was an ideal location to walk anywhere, especially the beach that was less than a 5 minute walk. Kara was a great hostess with speedy communication. The outdoor shower was so nice! Kitchen was full of all the amenities and more. Fun collection of DVDs and beach reads as well! I only wish we could have stayed longer!

Mother's Day at Pig Kahuna

Had a great time. It was nice and clean and they considered all my creature comforts! TV, cable, WiFi, movies and books, extra blankets, grill, fire pit, swing, Adirondack chairs, etc. You will not be disappointed! The floor plan is great! Plan on a return visit!

Birthday Experience

The Pig Kahuna was awonderful place to stay to celebrate my sister's 55th birthday. The cottage was very clean and the hosts were wonderful to deal with. They were quick to respond to my questions. The location was perfect since it was close to a lot of restaurants and shopping. The cottage is located in a very quiet neighborhood and close to the beach. Even though the weather was not very good, we still had a wonderful time. I would definitely stay there again.

Much needed vacation!

Patrick & Tara's place was fantastic. Had al we needed and was very comfortable. The neighborhood was quiet and relaxing. A short walk to the beach. The surf was rough but we weren't planning to go swimming anyway just to sit on the beach to read and relax. The weather was great. We explore the shops and even went to Manteo to explore. Ate at some good seafood places! A definite house repeat if available when we visit again.

Absolutely LOVED the house & location was perfect!

This house was absolutely perfect for us! The bedrooms are generously sized, has a screened in front porch, back deck, private rear yard, outdoor shower, ample covered parking and entertainment space in a quiet neighborhood perfect for listening to the frogs at night as you sit on the screened in porch. The location is amazing! A short walk to the beach, coffee house, shops/stores. It’s right in the middle of everything you need! We are definitely returning! I wanted to go back again in a few weeks but it’s booked lol but no surprise there it’s absolutely perfect!! And the owners couldn’t be nicer!!

Wonderful Week

This property is exactly as advertised. The kitchen was better stocked than most rentals. They have a garlic press. That was a first for me! They also have very nice beach equipment, not the stuff you buy at the local beach store for $2. They had a beach wagon, Tommy Bahama chairs, umbrellas, beach games including corn hole and even a beach tent. The house itself is very comfortable and well decorated. The beach is only a five minute walk. The owners are very responsive. We had a small issue with the television in the master bedroom, and the owners drove down immediately and replaced the entire television. The only thing that this unit did not have is a view of the ocean, but since that was never advertised, we were not disappointed. I will definitely look to rent this place again!

The perfect Nags Head getaway

Pig Kahuna is ideally situated -- close to the beach and to restaurants, grocery stores, and shops. And yet it's also in a very quiet area at night. We enjoyed making use of the hammock, fire pit, beach chairs, wagon, and boogey boards. A particular highlight to the trip for me was all the birds (cardinals, blue birds, cat birds, etc.) in the area, many of which make a home in the trees just south of the property. The master bedroom's bathroom shower is small, but the water pressure is great! We appreciated having the AC as well as the ceiling and floor fans. Suggestion to future guests: bring a cooler and ice packs as well as an umbrella. Other than that, you'll be all set to relax, have fun, and experience the charm that is Nags Head.

Family Time

It met our expectations from the listing and other reviews. Had all the amenities we needed. It was especially nice to have washer dryer access with a young family. Walk to beach was flat and as described.
