Pig Kahuna is an adorable, three bedroom/two bath home located between the highways in sought-after Nags Head - just past MilePost 10. This relaxing beach cottage is located on a quiet and spacious corner lot within easy walking distance to the E Albatross Street public beach access. The home is also walkable to nearby amazing local restaurants, shops, art museums and the dog park.
**NEW!** Driving down via EV? Easily charge your car on us! The home offers a 40 amp Level 2 (J1772) car charger in downstairs utility room. (Teslas will require adaptor).
The home comes with free wifi, a well-stocked kitchen with basic cooking essentials, two full bathrooms, three bedrooms (1 king ensuite, 1 queen, and one twin over full). Linens and towels are provided plus a starter kit of goodies to get the vacation off on the right foot. You can sleep in, as all bedrooms come with blackout curtains. Living room includes a smart-TV and DVD player with a large library of movies to choose from! Each bedroom is equipped with a smart-TV and DVD player.
Downstairs includes an outdoor shower, campsite grill, utility room with washer/dryer, beach chairs/cart, cornhole boards as well as a fire pit (firewood not included). The lot is spacious with plenty of green space to run around.
Wanna bring your bikes? Great! Nags Head offers a bike-friendly path along the beach access road. Cruise down quiet S Memorial Ave and end up at the crowd-pleasing Dowdy Park.
No need to leave your furry friend behind, Pig Kahuna is pet friendly – dogs only.

We loved staying at Pig Kahuna; Patrick and Kara were amazing hosts! The hammock swings were a big hit with our kiddos and the black out curtains in every bedroom were beneficial for sleeping late after staying out late on the beach hunting for crabs. We loved that we got to bring our dog along and there was more than enough space, inside and out, for him to be happy. It took us 2-3 minutes to walk (with kids) to the beach. Public parking was also an even quicker option some days. The kitchen was probably the best stocked kitchen we’ve ever had in a beach house. We also found a new board game to love - Pictureka! We will definently be back!

Great Location / Cute House
The house "Pig Laguna" was perfect for our small group and our small pup. It is an easy walk to the beach and great restaurants within walking/biking distance. I would definitely stay here again!

Great rental!
The house was perfect - the neighborhood was quiet we could hear the ocean at night which was very relaxing. It was only 2 short blocks to the beach, near restaurants and attractions. Perfect for our family! We would definitely stay here again!

Great place!
We had a great time at Pig Kahuna. The walk to the beach is very short and the house was comfortable for our family of 5. The wagon and beach toys were much appreciated for our kids.

Pig Kahuna was AMAZING
We had the best time staying at Pig Kahuna. The property was adorable, well kept, close to the beach, and close to other amenities in Nags Head. The owners were extremely helpful throughout our stay. We had a lovely time and will rent again in the future.

Excellent location and cute home
Great house with a great location. Not a far drive to get to a public beach access area and close to stores and restaurants. Great area to walk with nice neighbors. Perfect house for 5-6 people.

Another wonderful stay!
This was our 5th time staying at Pig Kahuna, and we had a wonderful time! October is such a beautiful time of year to be in Nags Head, and we were so happy to get away for a long weekend. We also love how pet friendly the house is. We will be back!

Great visit!
This cute house was just as described. Kara was quick to respond when a question came up. Distance to beach access was great and lots of great restaurants nearby.

Beautiful, comfortable beach stay!
This is our 4th summer staying at Pig Kahuna, and we love it! It’s the perfect size for us and the perfect distance from the beach. Kara and Patrick are super easy to work with! We will be back!

Lovely beach house!
We love staying at Pig Kahuna! This was our 3rd year staying here. The location is perfect, and the homeowners respond quickly to any messages. Thank you for sharing your home, Patrick and Kara!

Outer Banks Vacation
We were so comfortable in this clean and cool house. The temperatures outside were ranging from 105 to 115 heat index. We were very cool inside. The hosts are so nice and responsive. Overall this is a great place to stay.

Great home!
Perfect home for our quick getaway! Great location. Home was very clean. Kids loved the cornhole boards that were provided. Porch swing and hammock were appreciated by the adults! Would stay here again!

This was our 8th time staying at Pig Kahuna, and we love your beach house! It’s very cozy and clean. Our dogs also feel at home here! I appreciate how responsive Kara and Patrick are whenever we need to reach them! We hope to be back!

Great Stay
We enjoyed our stay -- the location is a close walking distance to the beach in a quiet neighborhood. There is plenty of space inside and outside to relax alone or gather together. The house is well stocked with everything we wanted/needed, even a vitamix for smoothies. My family and I ( including our dog) had a wonderful vacation.

We love Pig Kahuna! It is cozy, comfy, and the perfect distance from the beach. Our dogs also feel at home here! Kara and Patrick are very easy to work with and very responsive. We definitely hope to come back in 2025!
