This is a wonderful oceanfront beach home for family vacation. We loved the ease of going to the beach multiple times a day especially with a 3 year old and infant. I would highly recommend staying here.

Richard, direct beach access with little ones in tow is the kind of thing that turns a good trip into a genuinely easy one, and it sounds like that convenience made all the difference. Hope the family finds its way back to the coast soon.

Location, location, location! We absolutely loved our time at the beach with our family! Walking distance to Fish Heads was a major plus! Being able to wake up and enjoy ocean views, dolphin sightings, and coffee on the deck was incredible! All of the beds were comfortable and we had lots of room to relax and enjoy each other’s company! The pool was cleaned the morning after we checked in so we were able to enjoy the pool for the rest of our stay! Loved having the towels and sheets ready when we arrived. We would definitely stay again!

My family and I had the best time for our first trip to the Outer Banks. The weather was not in our side but we made the best of it. The grands enjoyed the pool and the view was amazing from the back deck. There were plenty of chairs to use on the beach. We didn’t use the hot tub but seemed like a nice addition if wanted to use. The house is older but well maintained. The host was very responsive and check in was a breeze!

OBX Life was a perfect location for us. It was close to Manteo, grocery stores and shopping. Everything we needed was accessible within 15 min, yet it was quiet. Mike was friendly and very responsive to communication. The house was the perfect size for or family and dog. We'd definitely consider going back.

Loved the view. Had everything in the kitchen you needed to cook. The master bedroom has an amazing view and made the cost worth it. I did not notice the stairs in pictures and that gave us some problems with the youngest who is 2. It doesn’t feel like they give you enough towels. They give exactly the amount of towels for the amount of people so you have to do laundry every day. You know that the sheets are clean because they come in a bag and you have to put them on. Also things like toilet paper and shampoo they basically supply whatever the last group left and don’t provide anything new. We ran out within 24 hours. If it wasn’t for the location and views this home would have less stars.

There are baby gates in the closet for our guest to use. We provide a supply of essentials, like toilet paper, which are in the closets. We also use a linen service that provides freshly laundered sheets in sealed bags to ensure every guest receives clean, sanitized bedding. We're happy to hear the location, views, and amenities made your stay enjoyable.

Loved this classic OBX house. Plenty of room for everyone. Kitchen well stocked. Location was awesome right on the beach and next to the pier. Owner was very responsive and honest. We left some items in the home at checkout and he notified us right away and agreed to mail them to us! Would stay here again!

Nags Head Getaway

Spring break with my wife and daughter and our grandson. Great quiet location on the beach. All shopping and restaurants within a 5 - 10 minute drive. Early morning sunrise with coffee was amazing.

Absolutely relaxing

The location and comfort of this home is everything OBX. The spaces are comfortable, the amentities sufficient, the response form the owner was quick. The pool is in a great location for keeping sand out of it! The hot tub overlooks the dune for early morning sun rise soaks. We had a wonderful time and experience in this property.

Mike and Renee fell in love — both with each other and with the Outer Banks — during their college summers here. Renee worked in local shops and the iconic Captain Frank’s, while Mike was a lifeguard with the Kill Devil Hills and Nags Head beach teams.

Now living in Chesterfield, VA with their kids, Meganne and Max, and dogs Bo and Boomer, they still spend as much time as possible at the beach they love.

Their vacation homes, OBX Life I, OBX Life II, and OBX Life IV all reflect that same passion for the coast.

Our guest are in love with the house because we try and keep the house a traditional beach cottage feel. Sitting on the back porch watching the sunrise or the porpoises play in the surf. Oceanfront offers it all. South Nags Head is away from all the heavy traffic and the beach is less crowded.
