A-frame cabin features 1,200 square feet of cozy living space. You'll feel miles away In the Black Hills National forest all tucked away in the woods and hidden by towering pine trees.
The cabin is centrally located in the Black Hills of South Dakota, and is a perfect lodging location while visiting Mount Rushmore National Memorial, Crazy Horse Memorial, Custer State Park, Wind Cave National Park, Jewel Cave National Monument, Devil's Tower National Monument, Hill City 1880 Steam Train, Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, Historic Deadwood and Rapid Creek fly fishing for browns and rainbows located just below Pactola Reservoir. The cabin is located among the pine trees on Edelweiss Mountain (5800 ft elevation) just twelve miles north of Hill City South Dakota and four switchback country miles off of the Scenic drive of U.S. Highway 385. The cabin is located within minutes of Pactola Lake, the Mickelson Trail, and the Centennial Trail. Situated in a quiet wooded area, the picturesque property is surrounded by acres of pine trees, offering ultimate peace and relaxation.

Please note: Three switchback country miles off of U.S. Highway 385 to cabin location.
There is ample parking for vehicles and trailers, so bring your ATV's or rent from one of the many local vendors in Hill City. There are endless ATV/UTV trails right off the property!

The drive out from Rapid City was further than expected, but with 5 young kids we really came to appreciate the beauty of the curvy, winding roads and the solitude of the mountain. Hiking to the top of the mountain above the cabin was a definite bonus along with open spaces and privacy.

This was literally a cabin in the woods! The host responded to messages quickly. The cabin had all the essentials. Totally enjoyed our stay.

The house was clean, the host was quick to respond, the internet was very slow, the grandsons enjoyed fishing in the nearby lakes.

Beautiful location. Easy to find.Shag carpet was kinda disgusting.. difficult to keep clean. Railing up stairs was loose & some of boards on the deck were fall risk.The truck in front of garage, made one feel like someone was in there! Creepy

Family trip
Home is located in the pines, beautiful setting. Hard to find without GPS but worthwhile. Close to so much, we really enjoyed the stay. Grandbabies caught some nice trout...

Very quiet location!
It was a great property! We enjoyed the quietness!! Spent most of our time outdoors on the deck enjoying the forest like surroundings. Definitely met our needs! Would recommend this property to others!

Short Vacation
Neighborhood very quiet, very comfortable accommodation with everything needed. It was exactly what I expected high in the pines. Nice deck with grill, table and plenty of seating. Thank You

Very nice out of the way cabin
We very much enjoyed staying here. It is a bit out of the way, but the roads are well maintained. If you want your vacation to include some quiet relaxation this is a great choice. If you like being in the middle of the action maybe not.
The cabin is rustic enough to feel like a cabin but modern enough to be comfortable.

Central location big and quiet
Road was tough. It got use to it, missed a dish washer but overall a great vacation
