Beautiful studio unit at Diamond Head Beach Hotel located near Diamond Head on the Gold Coast of OAHU. Very friendly people stay here! Wonderful outdoor space for watching sunsets and sunbathing. Ocean access from property. Coin or credit card ..Laundry Room is located in the garage area. Parking available through HARPARKING.com. go to this site and you may reserve a spot in the garage for a fee. Metered parking across the street free 6pm -10am. Parking across park on Paki ave is free.

Home away from home

I had a great time here! Struggling with finding the lockbox in the beginning was about the only main issue! Lana was wonderful in her responsiveness to things I needed help with such as a clogged bathtub drain. Polite, professional and, so kind! I was here for the Honolulu Merrie Mile and Start to Park 10k. I felt as if I was in a great location for all of the activities I was interested in. The Lanai area on the bottom level was great! Close to the water to hear the ocean and plenty of places to lay out and tan when not swimming. I would book this room again in the future!!!

Perfect spot for 2! Friendly, safe, cute and in walking distance to Waikiki.

Very cute! A 4 day stay. We arrived at midnight, we took an Uber from the airport. No problems getting there or getting into the room. We walked everywhere and also enjoyed our beautiful view, peaceful , safe. Kitchenette with microwave, electric tea kettle and even an induction cooktop. Dishes, soap, towels provided. Host responded quickly to any questions., and gave good instructions. Cute convenience store a block down. We definitely plan to return. Thank you!! A wonderful time!!!

Great location with easy parking

The view from the back grass area has amazing sunsets. Parking is only verry cheap and free from 6pm until 10am across the street at the park. Room is as shown. Couch and bed are nice. We wish it had a better sink for dishes but not the biggest problem. Only complaints was the shower not draining fast enough. I would recommend

Plumbing issue and cleanliness

I have always loved the location. I have stayed here before (in different units). At this unit the shower wouldn’t drain while showering. I had to use plunger the first day. Then after that the water would collect while showering and stuff from inside the drain came up into the tub. But drained slow after the water was off. This was NOT enjoyable. Person at front desk said they couldn’t help because I booked through a private company. . Sheets had stains which looked unappealing. I had to wash them to feel comfortable.

Great location outside of the hustle & bustle. 15 min. Walk to ABC store. 20 min. Walk to Monsarrat Ave to some restaurants.

Excellent all around!

Very well-outfitted, a lot of storage, immaculately tidy + clean. One closet is only useful for someone 6’4, as the hangers are at ceiling height. The bathroom sink should be deeper, with a taller faucet, as that is also where you’d be washing the cooking gear. Did not need a/c, but an oscillating fan would’ve been great for ventilation, as one cannot open the windows on one side of the studio. Highly recommend!

Never Again

Filthy window sills. Windows very hard to open. No bars of soap in bathroom. No bedside table for incidentals. An owner/host who would not attend to any of my concerns and would never return my phone calls. Left the place immaculate but still charged $130 cleaning fee after checking out. That's it for me and VRBO.

Basic but Good

Nothing special, but it was everything I needed. Location isn't great if you need amenities, but it's right across the street from Kapiolani Park, 5 minute walk to a beach. Free parking was very easy at the park so no need to pay. If I didn't have access to wheels, it would have been a difficult location. Make sure you stock up on drinks and snacks on day 1 of your visit. Would stay again.

Excellent waterfront location near Diamond Head in quiet neighborhood away from bustle of Waikiki. Clean roomy unit, well supplied, parking in building (extra fee, but reasonable and well worth it). Would stay again -

Nothing fancy but clean

Property as described. Somewhat dated but clean and quiet. Bus stop close by and able to walk to Waikiki so did not rent a car. Would have been helpful to have some information about the bus routes. A box of tissues and some lotion would be helpful also. Loved the common grassy area where we could enjoy the sunsets.

Not as bright and clean as pictured

Very disappointed. No hair dryer. OLD microwave that needed double time to heat. TV not working. Extremely loud air conditioner.

Fun in the sun

This was an enjoyable place served its purpose as we were here for a wedding we were close to everything we needed and more. Had a nice place to lay out and close walk to beach and aquarium which we went to. I would stay again.

Awesome Location

The location of this property was excellent for my needs. The building was quiet and the unit was all I needed. I never used the kitchenette so I can't evaluate that but it looked well-stocked. There were plenty of towels in the bathroom. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. There's a small air conditioner that is more than sufficient to cool the place and a big fan when you don't want to use it. The views from the backyard were amazing. Parking was a breeze most nights at the park across the street. I would come back.

Oahu vacation

This location is wonderful. You’re in easy walking distance to Waikiki but it’s very quiet and calm at the apartment. The shared beachfront area is lovely and the perfect place for a morning coffee. The apartment isn’t the most updated but it’s perfectly functional and comfortable. Just be aware that the kitchen area is definitely a kitchenette and there’s only one sink in the bathroom.

Excellent location and quiet building.

I don’t want to rave too much about the Diamond Head Beach Hotel as we keep coming back to it. This suite was a great budget option and had its own private waterfront area with chairs. Bring your binoculars to watch the jets and surfers.

September stay

Great location and easy access to the beaches and restaurants in Waikiki. Enjoyed walking around the park and up to Diamond Head. The kitchen was well equipped-only thing I would suggest adding would be a sponge and an ice tray. I would absolutely stay here again. It’s a great value for staying in Honolulu.

Great place to stay

This place is a perfect location. Close enough to stores and the beach and far enough from the thick of tourists. It is very quiet at night. You can catch the sunset over the beach right in the courtyard! It has AC and an a very comfortable bed. It is a perfect! We can’t wait to come back! Communication with the owner was amazing and the room was very clean! Thank you for everything!

Great Spot!

I love staying at Diamond Head; i am a local who comes back to Honolulu frequently: when I visit with my husband we love to stay near Kaimana where I basically grew up. This spot was a wonderful choice for us!
