Highly recommend this home! It is a beautiful, well-kept property with fantastic amenities.What we loved:• The Main House: Stunning cedar walls, lovely hardwood floors, warm cozy fireplaces, and very comfy beds with down comforters.• Outdoor Spaces: Tons of decking, private balconies, and a large yard featuring a BBQ, a fire pit, and planter boxes with fresh herbs and seasonal vegetables.• Bonus Lower Unit: A separate unit below the main house with its own kitchenette, queen bed, full bath, and another cozy fireplace.• Conveniences: Washer and dryer are provided.We had an amazing stay and would absolutely come back!

Very inconvenient place to stay

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This place is not ready for guests. There is not enough lighting, and half the lights don't work. It is not a three bedroom house. It has one bedroom, and the other two spaces don't have closets. One space doesn't even have a bed table. There is one bathroom. The space on the ground level is a one bedroom and bathroom, but you have to go outside in the inadequately lit stairway to access it. The two spaces are not accessible from the inside of the house. The stairs are steep, not lit well and dangerous. We were three women who travel together, and had to change houses. Scenic Coast Properties were wonderfully accommodating and saved our vacation by providing another place to stay. If a lot of people try to stay in the upstairs space, be prepared to share one bathroom. There are only two wash clothes, and no hand towels. As I stated, when you turn on a light switch, it's 50 percent that the light will work. Do yourself a favor, select somewhere else. There are many other lovely properties to stay. If you're just one couple, and can navigate tricky stairs, this place has a great view and the decks are lovely.

The location could not be better. Quite neighborhood with acess to the hiking reserve and ocean bluff. Lived the decks on the house and cedar wood walls and ceiling. Really charming and family friendly.

Great location

Loved the property, big enough for our family; human and furry! The deck and outside property is relaxing and beautiful. Walking distance to Fiscalini Preserve and deer families wander the neighborhood! Plenty of parking and so close to many beach towns!!!! Great vacation with beautiful weather!!

Enjoyed our time and so near Fiscalini Ranch trails

Had a nice stay including enjoying the fireplace. We had a dog who had a great time. Bit dated but overall homey / cozy spot that we would visit again.

Great location with fun activities for children and separate bedroom/kitchenette for second couple (grandparents). Love the playhouse!

Great location

Everything thing we needed for a relaxing getaway. Coastal preserve trails with beautiful views. Cambria town very close. Loved everything about the community.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Wonderful 4-day family experience! The home was large enough for everyone to spread out comfortably. Everything was very clean with a well-stocked kitchen. The check in and check out process was so simple. We lived the ocean and sunset views from the balcony, frequent sightings of wild turkey and deer, and the easy access to the dialing preserve. Just step outside to the left and walk to the end of the block and you are at the entrance.

Host was responsive. The house is unsafe for kids - there’s no screens in many windows. Generally disorganized drawers and closets. Outdoor area needs improvement and maintenance. Location was wonderful.

Delightful house in quiet neighborhood

Love the design of house and all the windows. Does feel like a tree house. Great neighborhood close to hiking trails, beach and town.

Peaceful stay. Great place for family

The check in process was easy. It was nice to have a garage to park in. The basement suite was perfect when i wanted to get away. The upstairs space worked perfectly for my birthday vacation and ganes at the large dining table. Would 100% return.

Lovely relaxing stay

We had a wonderful girl's weekend at this lovely vacation property. It was very clean and cozy. Very close to town, hikes, and the beautiful coastline. Lots of parking, storage, and kitchen space. Our only complaint would be the lighting. There are no overhead lights and it's very hard to see at night in the house. The master is exceptionally dark.

An enchanting location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a fabulous location, just steps away from the forest in the Fiscalini Reserve. We enjoyed wonderful weather, beautiful sunsets, deer (and turkey!) sitings, bike rides and the visits to town. It was great having a huge, completely fenced backyard for our dog. The house is spacious, beds comfy, and the decks are great places to relax. The furnishings are a bit sparse, particularly in the downstairs apartment, and there were a few inconveniences - many electric outlets were not functioning, for example - but by and large this was a great place and we would be blessed to return sometime in the future!

Mixed review

The location was great and the house itself is very nice. Loved being a short walk from Fiscalini Preserve. Given the price (and we have stayed in a lot of vacation rentals in Cambria), we were disappointed at the quality of smaller things - worn bath towels and only one wash cloth for two people, no soap in the shower, very cheap cutlery and cooking utensils. Not sure we would repeat on this rental.
