Third year in a row celebrating my birthday at this magical location. The house and the deck outside being so close to the ocean is hard to beat. Walking distance to so many wonderful places, although we tend to just stay at the house and enjoy the beauty.

There is no direct beach access out the back door (the listing photo is misleading). The beach is accessible by walking along a narrow street shoulder about 5 houses down. The view of the ocean is great. We saw dolphins and seals out the back window. This time of year, October, the waves crash and occasionally spray the back deck. It’s a nice location for walking to Pleasure Point.

Unbelievable location — we saw sea otters and dolphins from the porch, and it’s truly magical to have this view of the ocean and hear the waves crash while sitting at the dining table. Easy walk to a lovely, uncrowded beach. Our hosts were incredibly responsive to our questions and quickly addressed issues.

Wonderful stay!

We stayed here with our family and had an incredible stay. The property is stunning and location is wonderful. We also really appreciated the responsiveness of the host and ease of the check in process!

This place has an undeniably fantastic view, so that's a plus. Some minor things came up and the host was responsive and accommodating. The place in general could use some updating and maintenance to not "feel outdated". But overall, our stay was comfortable and we enjoyed the view. Do note, the manual says that the stairs are available for use to go down further by the rocks, but use at your own risk. However the gate from the balcony has been nailed permanently closed, so you don't really have access to the stairs. The dryer as well does take forever to dry clothes as others have stated. Not sure if there is a clogged vent issue or something, but host should look into this. We did encounter random ant issues, even upstairs. Some random areas ok, there is ant bait stations around the house. But few times randomly a swarm of ants in/on our bags which was frustrating. Sounds like pest control is in place and doing best they can.Thanks for the fantastic stay, we did enjoy our week here!

We enjoyed our time there but there were a couple things that were a big disappointment. There is absolutely no beach access, regardless of the pictures, day or night from the deck. This was a big one for me. To be fair it does share in the description that beach access depends on the sand and sea. I was hopeful though! According to the next-door neighbor they have not seen sand there in a very long time. I feel that the exterior pictures should actually reflect what is there. Another disappointment was the noise from the construction next door. My son went to google earth online and saw that the lot next to the house was in the process of construction. I emailed and asked if there was construction going on and they shared that the house was built and the construction was all interior. Ok, no problem. Three of the four days we were there was filled with the construction crew tamping down gravel preparing for their outside area facing the ocean. Our trip was August 8-12, 2026, so if you are going anytime soon, you will have construction. The ocean views are phenomenal and the house met out needs.

2nd time we've stayed here. Group of 6 women. You are right on the water at high tide mist hits the deck. Great amenities too.
