Welcome to the Parker House! Rustically elegant, modern farmhouse set on 320 private acres in Faber, VA. With mountain views, heated pool, a fishing pond, and miles of trails and streams, this secluded retreat is the perfect place to relax, recharge, and reconnect.

Inside, enjoy an extra-large sofa, spacious dining table, fully stocked kitchen, and 65" Sony TV with streaming services. Outside, gather around the fire pit, grill out on the Weber, or simply soak up the quiet beauty of the farm. Sonos speakers on every deck set the soundtrack for your stay.

Beautiful Surroundings

Wonderful place to stay for a family reunion-kids loved the pool and frisbee golf. The owners even had pool toys for the kids to use!

Great home for a hang out with friends

Really enjoyed this house; was a perfect home base for a long overdue catch-up with long-time friends with all the kids. Great amenities, kids loved the pool, and all in a beautiful setting.

It was a fantastic place for our group. There was plenty of space, the pool was amazing and it was close enough to wineries and breweries to drive the 15-20 minutes. The open concept kitchen and long kitchen table is perfect. The owner was super responsive and check in was very smooth.

Our friends and I had a FANTASTIC stay at this property! The owner is so kind, responsive, and accommodating; he couldn’t have made our booking or stay any better! The house is perfect! The views are stunning, house is large and cozy, and the backyard was amazing for our group. We loved the pool, fire pit for s’mores, kitchen for group meals, and living room for game night. The beds and pillows are very comfortable; the host also provided plenty of linens for everyone. The bathrooms were clean, the kitchen stocked, and the furniture comfortable. Our group couldn’t compliment the property enough! We had the best stay :)

We had a wonderful time and the house and property were fantastic. We were there to celebrate my son’s college graduation. Close to vineyards and a perfect place to stay! Would highly recommend!

Perfect house!

What a gorgeous house in such a perfect location. Accommodations were excellent- and the views -simply stunning. Perfect gathering spot for friends and family. Uva only 20-25 minutes away and close proximity to wineries… we can’t wait to return!

Amazing Inside & Out

This house is lovely, inviting, spacious and the view is stunning all around. We loved our stay and we want to book this over and over for other events with family, friends and getaways. The owner is wonderful to communicate with and make everything perfect for your stay.

Family wedding trip

We had an amazing stay while in the area to attend our granddaughter's wedding. It was a perfect place for our family to spend time together. The younger grandchildren had plenty of space to play together. It was a great experience and throughout the process the host was very quick to respond to any questions. Thank you for helping our family make some amazing memories.

Beauitful peaceful home in the mountains

Met up with family for vacation, and the home was excellent. The mountain views are peaceful and inviting, and the home has lots of light and space to enjoy it. My 3 year old son really loved the pool, and my wife and I really enjoyed the firepit in the evenings. The kitchen had lots of pots and utsensils for cooking a family meal, and the big table made it easy to eat together. I would definitely stay again, the house was very clean and comfortable.

Absolutely gorgeous house and setting

We had an amazing time celebrating a bride to be at this property. Pictures don't do it justice. The property was absolutely stunning. The pool was amazing-we spent a lot of our days there! Fire pit was great overlooking the landscape. Also loved the cows! House was perfect and came with everything we needed.so many of the girls on the trip mentioned they want to come back with their families! Also a great location, close to so many of the best wineries in the area. Host was so communicative and helpful! Can't wait to come back.

As Advertised - Beautiful - Excellent

This home is exactly as advertised! The view from the pool is beautiful... nothing but mountains and a few cows in the distance. The Firepit was great to sit around, laugh and relax… the stars were amazing! The home is very clean, stocked with games (cornhole, cards, foosball, frisbee golf) and household items (kitchen and bathroom). The response time from the owner was minutes and the entire process was fantastic!

The property is beautifully located. We enjoyed time in Charlottesville and well as the local area winery’s. The house was a perfect size for our family vacation and the pool was also great and very clean. The responsiveness of the host was very good when we had questions. Great place!!

Great place for a family

We really enjoyed our stay and the house is just as it is pictured--lots of living space for our 2 families! The kitchen and living room are spacious and the bedrooms are very nice. The only thing is I counted the living room sleep sofa in for bedding but we did not find it was a sleep sofa. Otherwise, all was perfect and enjoyed by all--including a wonderful fire pit!!

start planning your visit!

Our girls’ weekend at Rock Spring Mountain Farm could not have been more perfect! The location was beautiful and tucked away, allowing for an incredibly peaceful and private setting. We were within 30 minutes of each of our destinations, including wineries, breweries, and downtown Charlottesville which allowed us to make the most of our time away. The home itself was sparkling clean when we arrived and offered every amenity we needed while sleeping 11 women (ages 26-60) quite comfortably ☺️ The back deck was a great hangout spot for games with a picturesque view, and we honestly could not have asked for more! Thank you so much to Randy for his prompt responses, recommendations, and for being a very attentive host! We hope to come back sometime soon and recommend that you do the same!

When Halie and I started hosting at our mountain getaway home in 2015, we wanted to create the same enjoyable experience we get when visiting our homes - for our guests.

Through the process of asking for suggestions, make improvements, and learning from other experiences when we travel, we believe we are providing an enjoyable experience for our guests. The constant positive reviews and super host status tell us we are on the right track.

Our favorite part of hosting is reading our guest book and getting personal messages about how great their stay was at our homes. I feel we aren’t just hosting guests rather providing vacation experiences focused on creating lasting memories for you, your families and friends.

The greatest feeling is when a group comes back for a second, third or many more vacation experiences.
