Comfortable cabin in the middle of trees. Perfectly quiet and had everything needed to prepare meals. Spent most my time on the back porch because the view of woods was magical.

This property has a well stocked kitchen and everything is nice and tidy throughout the house. We enjoyed our stay. It gave us peace and quiet while at the house, and a scenic ride to downtown Brevard for shopping and dining. The porch gives you an opportunity to sit and relax and enjoy downtime. There was a fairly hard rain one evening when we sat on the porch and enjoyed the cool air it brought. The cabin itself is charming and is loaded with lots of conversation pieces about the house. Beds are comfortable.

Great weekend getaway

Will definitely rent again, this place is as described, perfect. We really enjoyed our time and the location is great for visiting breweries, day hikes, and the local towns.

Great place!

We like how the property was close to town but not in town. Definitely one of the best ever stayed at. Very nice host!

Cabin was lovely - very unique and a bit off the beaten path.... We had a wonderful time exploring waterfalls in Brevard, Pisgah Forest and Dupont State Recreational Forest. Oskar Blues Brewery was fun and had great burgers. Highly recommend this property

This is the perfect place for a relaxing get-away. Lovely home and awesome back porch to watch the white squirrels, deer, foxes and colorful leaves. Close to the waterfalls for day hikes. Fire pit for the cool evenings. We can't wait to visit again.

Charming Cabin

Very charming cabin close to Brevard, Pisgah, Dupont and Cashiers. We really enjoyed the gas logs and porch. Great having a pet friendly cabin so close to everything.

cozy peaceful cabin

We absolutely loved the cabin. Perfect place to return to for a relaxing evening after hiking to waterfalls, cooking on grill and sitting on back porch enjoying the silence.

Would stay here again!

Very clean. Comfortable beds. Great location for relaxation and not far from town. Owner is very responsive to communication. Loved our stay!

Great and relaxing times

We were looking for an escape and a place to relax. This was the most perfect place and I wish we could have stayed longer, this was the most perfect getaway and such a quiet sanctuary. Thank you for such a perfect retreat.

Awesome Cabin

This was a wonderful place for us to have a couple of days in the mountains. The craftsmanship of Chestnut Haven was top notch and the decor was a perfect match. We were also very fortunate to have had great sightseeing weather during our stay.

Absolutely gorgeous stay!

This home was absolutely gorgeous and a treat to stay in! Felt like home, from the fireplace to how incredibly comfortable the beds were!!! Seriously I have never had such a comfortable bed anywhere but home. What a beautiful October stay we had in the mountains. The hosts were so friendly and timely with all responses.

Secluded but close.

Great location. 15 min from Brevard made it very easy to get into town. Cabin was clean and comfortable. Enjoyed coffee on the deck each morning.
