Only a few steps to our swimming beach. Almost 180 degree view of Wailua Bay and our beautiful beach from the dining/living area. You can prepare meals while looking out at the surf!

This fantastic location affords you the closest to our beautiful beach and even a front master bedroom with it's own lanai. Ground floor convenience means you need not lug your baggage up the stairs and also walk right out only the beach or to the pool without going around your building.
Our guests love the convenience of the ground floor spot and near the pool, the bbq area and parking. No stairs to climb.
Lae nani is spectacular with it's tropical plants and flowers and near (walk) to some great restaurants and the bike/walking path is just out the door.
Smith's Garden luau is only 5 minutes down the road and we are also close to the airport (without the noise) so you don't need to drive 30 minutes or more after your flight.

Kauai Lae Nani Condo

We were ground floor, ocean front. Everything was very nice. The condo was clean and functional. The three suites was perfect for our group of 3 couples. The grounds were amazing. It was nice to be so close to the beach and the pool. We did not encounter any problems whatsoever.

Beach view/access

This was a wonderful place to stay in Kauai. The condo had direct access to the beach per the pictures on the listing. We saw the sun rise a couple of times during our stay. The kitchen was well appointed although we cooked only one night. There are shared grills steps from the unit. The pool is also steps form the unit. ITs central location allowed us to explore the north and south ends of the Island. The bedroom AC units were very loud. Thank you for hosting us and provide the setting for our wonderful Kauai vacation.

Christmas 2024

This was a perfect place for our family. Love the location because the pool and beach was literally out our door.We could walk almost anywhere in this little town of Wailua/Kapaa. All in all it was just wonderful. We would definitely come back.

A Little Slice of Paradise

This is a great location and a great condo right on the beach. We were so happy with the 180 degree Ocean views, the crashing waves, and the beautiful breeze. Everything about this place felt relaxing. We also loved that the location was in between Poipu and Hanalei making it great for day trips and adventures. The condo itself was well stocked, clean, and comfortable. I also want to add that it has a wash and dryer which I didn't initially see on the listing but was super happy about when we arrived. The complex has great amenities and is very well kept.

Ideal Location

Not sure if we could have found a more idyllic location for our family Christmas vacation. The unit itself could not have been more perfect for our group of 6 (my wife and I, our two kids, and my parents). Each generation had their own bathroom and ground floor meant my aging parents didn't need to do stairs. The unit is literally steps away from the ocean and steps away from the pool. Ocean views from the dining/living room, and one of the bedrooms. Patio facing the ocean was a nice place to enjoy the sunrise, and an even better place to watch the sunset. The grounds of the condominium were very well-maintained and offered the kids a wonderful green space in which to play (when they weren't having an absolute ball playing in the surf or in the adjacent rock-protected wading area). The unit itself was clean and comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The unit is due for a few updates/minor repairs (sticky screen door, faucets that need a little tightening), but nothing that had a major impact on our stay. The only reason I couldn't rate the check-in as 5-stars was that every interaction before check-in was through the VRBO app, but the final information about the keyless entry codes came as a non-VRBO email (real estate agency address) so I missed it and it didn't come up in my searches for VRBO like previous correspondence. We were able to make contact with the property manager without too much delay, though. Highly recommend this property.

Island getaway

We found this property and it was perfect for what we needed. The pool and beach were so close and the lanai was amazing for cocktails and laughter. The sunrises were unbelievable too! We love Kapaa, so we couldn’t have gotten a better location.

Everything was very accommodating for three adult couples. Location was perfect for our daily excursions and airport. We also enjoyed Lava Lava Beach club right next door!!

Overall

We found this property very accommodating based on location, pool, ocean. Ground floor with a 18 month old, perfect. I would only say the that kitchen needs a overall clean out, with utensils and especially the pots and pans. All furniture cushions need a deep clean as well as the throw rugs. New towels would help too. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. I would consider and recommend this condo if they would update the items listed above. Thank you.

Beautiful Beach and View

This is a great location. Our group loved being here. Plenty of room for the 8 in our group. In doors were comfortably cool. The patio facing the beach outside can get a little humid and a little air circulating would be nice. A ceiling fan would be beneficial. Regardless, we sat there and enjoyed gorgeous views, a perfectly colored rainbow and lovely sunrises and sunsets. The location of the condo sat right off of the beach, so that was a beautiful view as well. The ocean waves and water temperature was ideal. Plus, there was a store and restaurants within walking distance, so we didn't have to drive anywhere. Some things could use a little tending to. The wallpaper was coming off the bathroom wall in one of the bedrooms, but nothing major. We spent little time indoors, so it really didn't matter. We did have to reach out the property manager on multiple occasions to get an answer to a question we had and didn't get a response. Eventually we heard back and the answer to the question was more than satisfactory. All in all, I think anyone staying here would love it and I know if I had the opportunity, my family and I would stay here again.

Lovely view, spacious condo

We had a lovely stay in Kauai. The location of the condo is central. The water is lovely to view, but was too rough for snorkeling. However, the central location of the home made our jaunts to other, calmer, beaches very easy. The lack of central air was not an issue, we kept the bedrooms cooled and used fans in the main areas. It cools off nicely after sunset. The management was not responsive when I reached out about the dryer vent being clogged. I emailed on our second day and have never received any response. We just air dryed our clothes. Perhaps it was not possible to get a repair, but a response would have been appropriate. Kauai is breathtaking, relaxing and the trip was wonderful. The kitchen was sufficiently appointed and the view from the home was top notch.

Very best Lae Nani condo

We were greatly impressed with our Lae Nani condo - listing photos don't do justice! Closest unit to beach and pool, spacious and in walking distance to shopping and restaurants. Don't miss the Farmer's Market Tuesday and Thursday at Coconut Marketplace! We will definitely rent again!

Fabulous family holiday!!

We love this location and condo! This is our second visit to this site, first for this condo. Everything you need and more with lots of things to do within walking distance..which is a plus for less busy days. We had one small issue but it was resolved quickly, no complaints from us. Fun Family Trip

Great location and a great property. My family and I really enjoyed it. The access to the beach/ocean can't be beat Kapa'a is nice and centrally located for exploring any part of Kauai.

Best location so far

Out of four trips to Hawaii, this has been the best spot so far. The location, property, and views were wonderful….. but….. On the 2nd morning, the refrigerator failed and we had to dispose of nearly all of the groceries we purchased the day before. The immediate solution from the property manager was to use the cooler. That’s fine for drinks, but fish the we planned on cooking later? The ice cream? Coolers don’t work. And I didn’t want to spend my vacation worrying about groceries and running to get ice constantly. They did call in for a service tech, but he couldn’t make it until the day we checked out. My initial email to my main contact has gone unanswered…. We’ll see if they try and make things right.

Perfect for our family vacation

We were 7 of us out in Kauai for a camily vacation. Ages ranged from 5-61, so we had all levels of activity to account for. Our condo was as close to the beach as possible with amazing views of the ocean from the dining table and living room. The pool was steps aways and a wide range of eateries and restaurants walking distance away. I would highly recommend this location to anyone looking to do what we did. Get away safely and have a relaxing week.
