Amazing cabin in the woods with a beautiful lake. Loved the open great room and kitchen. Bathrooms were spotless and the beds were comfortable. The host responded to our questions right away and there was plenty of open room for our dog to run. You will love this place.

If you are looking for peace and quiet in a beautiful natural setting, this is the place for you. Enjoy a long front porch over looking the pond. Cabin was clean and fully equipped. Could not recommend more highly.

John's place is very quiet and very comfortable. After a long day, I enjoyed sitting on the front porch with a drink, watching the many deer moving around the property.A great place to stay. Thanks John

The property is in a lovely setting. It is very peaceful and quiet. The owner is kind and helpful. There is everything you need for a nice long stay.

I booked this cabin for a girls (6 ladies over 60) weekend. It exceeded our expectations. The trails were used. The lake view was appreciated, even though we forgot fishing poles.We loved the large comfortable living room and sleeping quarters. Will definitely come back

This cabin is beautiful and well equipped. All rooms were clean. The porches on both front & back are so relaxing, nice view of the lake from the front porch. We had a fire at the fire pit every evening. Such a cozy and relaxing place and John the host is very gracious and easy to contact if needed. We would love to come back in the future.

Carol's Cabin is a wonderful little spot in the woods! Our family and dogs enjoyed our time there relaxing and visiting other family in the area. This cabin felt like home the second we walked in. The cabin is clean and has quite literally anything you need and more. The rooms are spacious and there is more than enough room to sleep many. The cabin was extremely clean. We really enjoyed the seating on both decks and enjoyed the nature. The fire pit is a great addition to the property! We spent both of our free days shopping on Main St in Madison! We will most certainly be back to stay at Carol's cabin! Thanks again!

The photos do not do this place justice! It is absolutely beautiful, very clean and well stocked! We loved staying here it was so quiet and peaceful. The kids and dogs enjoyed swimming in the pond and playing outside. The living is big enough for our family of 9 and 2 dogs to sit comfortably and play games or watch movies. The eating area as well. The bonfire pit is nice too. We highly recommend this place. We also went to the Creation Museum and the Ark Encounter. Roxano’s in Vevay has really great pizza btw the park is lovely as well.

We had a wonderful stay! We especially enjoyed fishing in the pond and relaxing on the beautiful property. John was very kind and helpful. We spent a day at Louisville Zoo, visited Clifty Falls State Park, and did some shopping and lunch in Downtowj Madison. It’s a great area for a familyvacation! Would absolutely recommend this property to others.

Everything was as advertised. We all was impressed with the appearance of everything. Well equipped and property well maintained. The owner come by to check on property. Would recommend this property to anyone.

This was a beautiful place to stay. The children enjoyed swimming in the pond and the guys spent their time fishing there and at the ohio river.

My small group wanted to relax in a quiet setting and Carol’s cabin was perfect. Extremely clean, well-provisioned, quiet and private with a beautiful property to stroll around. Would definitely come back!

Great Option for the Family!

Really enjoyed the peace and quiet of being out in the middle of nowhere! We will definitely be back if we ever come back to the area.
