First impression was surprisingly different but was perfect for what we needed. I wish all the places we stayed were so accommodating and actually geared towards large groups instead of cramming people together in tiny spaces. If we return to Lubbock in the future, i hope we can get this place again.

Great place

We as a family were in town for my daughter’s wedding. The facility was clean and all amenities were there. Kitchen was useful as well as dining/ living areas. Outdoor patio made for a great space.

Car Show

Plenty of room for everyone to stay! I LIKED how it has the small things we seems to over look available. Rather it was sugar for coffee, cotton balls, shampoo and conditioner! LOVED the play area for the little ones! It had a bit of everything! Parking lot was what we need since we had trailers! Only thing that was kinda off/misleading, this was a nurse home/assisted living facility before but they did do a very good job giving it a face lift. Some of our guest were freaked out at first but then got eased up.

Great family getaway

Great rental. Rooms were spread out so we were able to put kids to bed away from all the family noise. Had everything we needed. We will stay here again.

Basketball team

I took my high school girls basketball team for a weekend camp. The house was awesome for our group. Centrally located and convenient. Lots of beds. Great patio too

TTU graduation

We enjoyed our stay! We had a TTU undergraduate celebration and had a number of family who flew and drove in to join us. The property allowed us to spread out for rest and join together for meals. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

Great place for big groups

Roberta is a fantastic host and I would highly recommend the Retreat as a great place for big groups to stay. The house is well equipped for large groups (plenty of beds, showers, bathrooms etc.). The home is close to the Texas Tech campus, although, it isn't necessarily in the nicest part of town.

Space Applenty

This older property supports large groups with ease. Well maintained and equipped with everything needed for an enjoyable stay. Convenient and centrally located with a fairly steady amount of traffic noise. Plenty of shared bathrooms and shower rooms worked great for our men’s bird hunting group. Roberta is an allstar host who is friendly, accommodating and quick to respond. Would definitely book this property again.

Perfect!

This VRBO is everything, and more, that is pictured and described! It was Perfect for our blended Family Thanksgiving, (it was even Cutely decorated for the Holiday) Beds are Very Comfortable, Big bed Rooms, nice Kitchen, and warm feeling gathering spaces for a large group. The Host was a Pleasure to work with and her communication was pleasant and prompt!! We hope to return again. Thank You
