Summary:
Gorgeous oceanside 2 bedroom/1 bath apartment one block from the beach in Ship Bottom, LBI. Walking distance to bars, restaurants, shopping, and mini golf.

Summer 2025 season starts the last week of June and ends the first week of Sept with a 7 day minimum.

The Space:
Apartment B is on the 2nd story (requires 1 flight of stairs to access) and shares a small foyer with our other apartment. This unit has a living room, kitchen, master bedroom with king, 2nd bedroom with queen, and full bath with tub.

Shared spaces (common areas) with our other apartment across the hall:
-Washer and dryer is in the front foyer
-outdoor shower and beach chairs (located under the stairs going up to the apartment)
-small outdoor space in the back of the building which includes a picnic table, adirondack chairs and charcoal grill

The Neighborhood:
Down the block from Faria’s
One block from Hartland Golf and Arcade
Walking distance to the Port Hole restaurant and bar

Getting Around:
Free street parking. Great neighborhood for bike rentals and walking to activities and restaurants.

We love providing our guests with a home away from home experience. A few items to note that we provide:

-bath towels, beach towels, sheets

Well-designed and equipped for your stay

Cozy, clean, well-appointed apartment style rental. About four minute walk to the beach (or bay). Kitchen is beautiful and has everything you need for meal prep. Furniture and bed are very comfortable, and wash/dryer on same level. We visited in January and the heating system was effective. Only drawback is street parking, which is generally available and common on the island, but you must find a spot. You can park for an hour on the main road (Long Beach Blvd) for loading/offloading.

Great stay on LBI

My partner and I stayed here for a few days around New Years while visiting family. The apartment is an extremely convenient location on the island. The apartment was cozy and had everything we needed for our stay. We're strongly considering coming back for a summer visit!

Great little place. Should be able to park in driveway beside or in front of garage. The below nail salon utilizes 2 to 3 spots at entrance to the apaprtment steps. Other than that, great little place

Quick retreat

Very clean with spacious kitchen. Comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. Very close to the beach closer than the pictures depict, within walking distance to most everything.

Summer vacay

Stayed here with my three teenage daughters and we loved this place. Very clean and cute! Had all the comforts of home. Loved the location, easy biking and walking to nearby shops and restaurants. Also loved how close it was to the beach! Definitely would return.

Very clean and convenient

Walking into the apartment was a relief when we found it to be clean and fresh. After a night or two we realized there were only two table lamps and several places where they were sorely needed… including the living room. As mentioned there is a shared outdoor space offered, however one needs to walk down the outside stairs, down the street and enter a small area between the nail shop and garage, not exactly welcoming for a morning cup of coffee or end of the day place to chat. There were very few parking places on the street within the block, and when one was found, we were reluctant to go out for dinner. Otherwise, it was a short walk to the marvelous beach.

Holiday Haven

The apartment was the super clean and had just what we needed. Check-in was seamless. The location is very convenient, especially if you plan on going off the Island during your stay. We enjoyed taking short walks up to the beach or down to the bay. The apartment is on the Boulevard and you do hear traffic from the bedrooms. There is a nail salon on the ground floor of the building, so great news if you want to get a mani-pedi, not so great if you are highly sensitive to fumes and plan on staying in the apartment all day. The odor associated with that kind of business does dissipate quickly, so I am sure that opening windows will take care of it in no time. It happened to be cold and rainy during most of our visit, so we didn’t try that, but we were in and out of the apartment, so it wasn’t too bothersome. One other note: I accidentally left my necklace on the nightstand when we checked out. I did not realize it until the next day. The cleaning crew found it and kept it safe until we could arrange for someone to pick it up. I appreciate their honesty and care! We are hoping to return for another stay on the Island during the Spring or Fall when the weather is a little better!

Quiet fall getaway

This was a great little place to spend some quiet time in LBI before Thanksgiving. It is tiny but thoughtfully designed and has everything a few people would need for a comfortable stay. Everything is new and clean, and it's a great location close to the beach and a few Ship Bottom favorites--the Local, the Arlington, and Faria's. Jackie is a great communicator and clearly cares about her guests' experiences. Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect for a small group

A couple of work friends and I stayed here to attend a coworker’s wedding. Two of us slept in the rooms and another slept on the couch to fall asleep listening to the TV. The set up was perfect for our small group. The place was very clean and the host was so nice to leave little hotel soaps for us. Would definitely stay here again if visiting again!

Great Place

This place is excellent. This is our second time renting this place. It’s an up to date, modern apartment that is pet friendly. We love how clean and comfortable it is. It has a great location with so much to do close by. It has everything you need so you don’t need to pack extra. We will definitely rent again.

Ship Bottom Apt B, LBI

We stayed a partial week in late September 2023 at the Ship Bottom, LBI apartment and had a wonderful time in a perfect location with warm sunny weather. The initial attraction to the apartment was it’s “pet friendly” policy. But upon entering the apartment it was apparent the property was well maintained and clean, leaving no evidence of any animal mess or destruction. The location allowed us to leave the car and easily walk to the beach, bay, eateries and entertainment venues. Thank you Jaclyn for the the accommodations and arranging for the extra night stay.

We loved our first time stay in ship bottom!

My family and I have been going to LbI the last 7 years and had stayed in beach haven, brant beach , spray beach this was our first time stay in ship bottom and we loved it . The location was perfect. The apartment was perfect for my family of 4 plus our dog Kobe was welcomed to join us for the week which we loved . The apartment had all we needed and was exceptionally clean, updated, comfy and cozy. Also having the washer and dryer was a huge help to keep our clothes clean and was able to pack less. Also,having the linens, bath towels and beach towels already there was a huge plus as with other places we had to bring . We looked forward to our future stay at this perfect apartment. The host also was very accommodating and nice to communicate with 😊❤️

LBI family reunion

Lovely, cozy apartment. Spotlessly clean. Very comfortable beds. Beach chairs, umbrella, towels, soft cooler, ice packs and beach badges were such a nice convenience. Host Jackie is lovely.
