Trout House is a brand new log cabin located just 25 minutes outside of Boone and just minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway. It is situated in a postcard like setting on four beautiful acres with a class A stocked trout stream that runs directly behind the cabin the stream. Elk Creek is rated as a second cleanest stream and all of North Carolina. If you are looking for a stream side cabin you will not find a better location anywhere. There is abundant wildlife including trout, deer, turkey, fox, beavers, and birds.

Property was beautiful! Very peaceful and loved being on the creek. No cell reception which we honestly enjoyed. WiFi is available. Kitchen is well stocked. Communication from owner was great. Check in and check out was smooth.

What a gem of a place! My kids spent a full day in the creek behind the house--fishing, tubing, and exploring. The house was clean and met all of our needs. Saving this one for future visits!

It was a nice kick back time hearing the water and we got in it a couple of times. The house was great no one brother us even with the flood they had before we arrived. They clean up we were out and did not bother us at all.

What a cool place to go! Phenomenal property with great views, nice flowing water sounds, and the cabin was perfect. We had a great visit here and enjoyed exploring the stream, fishing the stream, cooking out on the grill on the porch, s'mores over the fire pit, and the kids loved the hot tub to play in. The cabin had all amenities and some needed to just show up and live for a few days. We were impressed with what all was provided. The host was very responsive with just general questions as well. My two sons said they give the cabin more than a 5 star rating so that tells you how much it was liked. Was a long drive on the road coming in to get out and about to explore but was totally worth it for us with what all you got and the amazing property that was provided. Will definitely consider coming back when we go to the mountains again. Thanks for providing a great place to vacation! Until next time!

The cabin is amazing. We are already planning our next stay. Everything you need, this cabin has from relaxation to adventure hiking up and down the creek. Check in process was very smooth and great communication from the host.

This is an amazing cabin! Beautiful inside and out. We did not realize that the cabin was on property with 3 other dwellings, but this did not change how much we loved our stay. Cannot wait to come back and experience this place in the Summer!

My wife and I stayed on the property most of the time. We spent alot of time in the creek, enjoying the sun and scenery. The cabin is perfect along with the location.

Beautiful cabin ina peaceful setting just far enough from town. Well appointed and very clean. Everything you need to get away from it all. Enjoyed listening to the stream. Fish were biting close by. We would definitely stay again.

Perfect Weekend Getaway

We wanted a secluded weekend away and got exactly that. The location and cabin were beautiful. It was clean and location was perfect. We will definitely be staying again.
